Chapter 1: The pasted
Kiki, once a protector of Time, was placed in Class D due to his struggles with time manipulation. One day, Class D was attacked by the stronger Class B. The leader of Class B arrogantly declared, "B is 2 and D is 4, so we have the power to wipe them out." With that, the battle began. Class D was quickly overwhelmed, but amidst the chaos, Kiki noticed a rare opportunity. He saw the Eclipse, a radiant light representing the essence of time itself. Kiki knew that if he could touch the light and hold it within his body, he would gain control over time.
Desperate for power, Kiki ran toward the Eclipse, reaching for the light. The moment he touched it, everything stopped. All eyes turned to Kiki, who was writhing in agony, screaming, "Li... Lie... Li... Lie." These were the names of his wife, Lie, and his daughter, Li, whom he believed had died because of him.
Kiki had once attempted a forbidden time spell to save someone in danger, but the cost was disastrous. It froze time around his family, and everyone, including Kiki, believed them to be dead. He blamed himself. In his grief, he had even tried to take his own life, cutting his hand with a knife. But the forbidden spell always rewound his body, healing him, and preventing any permanent harm. He despised this curse.
Now, with the power of the Eclipse coursing through him, Kiki was stronger than ever, though wracked with pain. His newfound time manipulation abilities were terrifying—he could control the flow of time within others' bodies, accelerating their heartbeats until their blood rushed to their brains, causing them to die in excruciating pain.
In his weakened state, Kiki collapsed, landing on a battlefield where the Demon Queen and Demon King were locked in combat. The Demon Queen immediately noticed his power and murmured, "One or two," signaling her army, who swiftly moved to capture him. The queen's forces emerged victorious.
When Kiki regained consciousness, he found the Demon Queen holding his head, softly chanting, "Philisa ngamandla kamama Lisa," which meant "Heal by the power of Mother Lisa." Still disoriented, Kiki prepared to fight, but the queen asked, "Are you going to fight the person who just helped you?" Her words filled him with shame.
The queen, noticing his aura, asked why he was glowing with such power. Still prideful, Kiki responded, "I was in a fight." The queen smiled and asked, "Did you win?" Kiki reluctantly replied, "Yes."
Years passed, and Kiki's mastery of time manipulation grew. The queen, having watched him fight many battles, was impressed when she saw him stop time altogether in a recent encounter. This newfound strength filled her with both shock and pride. Over time, Kiki found himself falling in love with the Demon Queen, though he did not yet know she had a daughter named Demon Girl, whom she loved deeply. However, the queen harbored a deep hatred for Demon Girl's father, the Demon King.
One day, Kiki observed the queen in battle, watching as she entered her fearsome demonic form and single-handedly took on a full battalion of enemies. He couldn't help but wonder if he could defeat her. The queen, sensing his thoughts, turned to him and said, "No, you can't." Caught off guard, Kiki stammered, "I wasn't thinking that..." though his nervousness betrayed him.
Despite his embarrassment, Kiki mustered the courage to ask the queen if she would train with him. He was certain she would refuse, but to his surprise, she smiled and said, "Yes. I guess it's a date."
