"This is the game NPC?!" Vale was stunned.

If he didn't know that he was playing a game, he would have thought that someone was coming to catch him. Naturally, those two soldiers stood outside the door, holding their guns and standing upright, they looked very serious. Their attires, shoes, helmets, and more, every detail was so real. It is almost identical to real people.

-----

The popularity of Vale's stream had gradually recovered, and the chat refresh rate was getting faster and faster:

"Hahaha, you see, Vale is surprised."

"It's these two soldiers."

"Familiar words. The next step is to go to the lobby."

"I don't know how far Vale can go..."

"It should be better than Brit, after all, he already knows part of the plot of the game, so as long as he's careful, nothing will happen."

"Vale, he's going to let you out."

-----

As expected, with the opening of the metal door, the soldier outside the door spoke: "D-9341. Get out now, you need to perform a task..."

Only then did Vale come back to his senses, and respond: "I'm going."

He strode out the door, and one of the soldiers motioned him to go left. But Vale didn't leave immediately, instead looking at the soldier curiously. Under close observation, the pores of the characters were visible and extremely realistic.

"Viewers, how smart do you think this NPC is?" Vale suddenly asked.

He was genuinely curious. Usually, the NPCs in games are very dull and limited, the dialogue is also the same. The AI intelligence doesn't exist at all. But since this game could make the visuals so real, the NPCs in the game must not be bad.

-----

The chat in the stream also started to discuss:

"I guess the intelligence is very high. When Brit was playing before, the two soldiers were aggressive. Brit couldn't even look at them."

"Not necessarily. Maybe it's just the basic setting of the game, and the behavior of NPCs obeys certain rules."

"I think it should be pretty smart. Since the developer can make the game so good, then the NPC won't be like an idiot."

"I don't know, why don't you give it a try."

-----

"D-9341, go left." While discussing with the viewers, the soldier who had just spoken spoke again, his voice was much more serious.

"Ah, yes!" Vale quickly agreed.

But looking at the two fighters, he was still curious. He couldn't help approaching one of the soldiers and he carefully looked at the soldier's firearm. The dark body was shining with a metallic luster, which made Vale, who had played many FPS games, very excited.

"Isn't this gun heavy when you hold it up?" Vale thought subconsciously.

In the FPS games he played in the past, the guns were so light and flimsy, and the recoil was pathetic, a three-year-old child could probably handle it. Now, the guns in this game were far ahead of other FPS games in terms of appearance. If you could pick it up, it would feel great.

Thinking of this, Vale subconsciously wanted to reach out for the gun. But in the next moment, the gun he was about to touch was instantly lifted and aimed at his forehead.

BOOM-!

After a gunshot, there was a bloody hole in Vale's forehead.

Vale was stunned. He felt pain in his forehead, then, his body fell limp, and the environment quickly became blurred. At last, he was back in the dark space where the game started. This accident happened too fast, he didn't even have time to react.

It wasn't until several seconds later that he suddenly realized: "Damn-! I just started, and I got shot!"

-----

The viewers in the stream also burst out laughing at this moment:

"Pfft-! Hahaha..."

"I can't help it, sorry. Hahaha-!"

"Vale, why are you touching someone else gun? If they don't shoot, who would?"

"Hahaha-!"

"Congratulations to Vale for breaking the fastest death record, Brit sends his regards."

-----

Looking at the chat in the stream, Vale's face almost turned red. He didn't expect that the NPC in this game would shoot at him. You know, in the games he played before, those so-called NPCs were idiots who only knew specific language and actions. Out of habit, he subconsciously regarded this game the same as those previous ones.

In addition, the viewers in the stream told him earlier that the plot of the game was that two soldiers would take him to a hall, and he would have to enter a monster containment room alone. From there, the game officially begins. It stands to reason that before the game officially starts, shouldn't the player be indestructible? Shouldn't the so-called escort by the two soldiers be just for show, to move along the plot?

Just like the opening animations of other games, the player's character runs along with the plot, and only takes control after the game officially starts. It's a pity that these are only in other games, in SCP – Containment Breach, all this is different. Not only can players control their characters from the very beginning, but also the NPCs are much smarter. Far from being comparable to those garbage games.

Thinking of this, Vale sighed inwardly. He understood that this was one of the advantages of this game. However, even so, he still had some dissatisfaction in his heart.

After thinking about it, he shouted: "Everyone, I don't accept it, let's give it another shot."
