Chapter 8: Chapter 8 The Shaken One
Zhang Cuilan shook Su Wen's arm, "Wen, stop scaring him, we are here for a check-up too."
Su Wen helplessly spread his hands, "I wasn't scaring him... I was just telling the truth."
Director Wang's face looked ugly, but he didn't speak.
"Look at you, still treating others when you should go and get your own diseases cured first."
Su Wen laughed and then intended to leave with Zhang Cuilan.
Endure for a moment, mammary hyperplasia.
Step back, ovarian cysts.
After all, Director Wang was a well-known figure in the area, and he had never suffered such humiliation.
Even if he had high blood pressure, liver cirrhosis, and such, he wasn't going to die anytime soon, but Su Wen's words almost scared him to death, the more he thought about it, the angrier he became, "Dammit, causing trouble in the hospital and you think you can just leave?"
Thinking this, Director Wang picked up the chair from under his butt and hurled it at Su Wen.
"Be careful."
Zhang Cuilan's heart nearly leapt to her throat.
Last time she came for a check-up, it was Dr. Wang who examined her and found nothing amiss— at most he was up to no good and copped a feel, but she never imagined this esteemed doctor could be such a fraudster.
No, it wasn't just this doctor— the whole hospital was a problem.
Su Wen just smiled, said nothing.
He showed a calm and harmless smile, as if he didn't take Director Wang seriously at all.
Then, with a slight lift of his feet, he leaped into the air and kicked the chair into pieces.
"Holy shit?" Director Wang was dumbstruck.
Su Wen grabbed Director Wang by the collar and slapped him across the face.
"Smack! Smack! Smack!"
Several slaps in a row made Director Wang see stars.
"Bastard... I've been a doctor for decades, and today I'm bullied by you in the hospital?"
Director Wang cursed loudly, "If you have the guts, don't leave, I'm calling for people right now."
As he spoke, he made the phone call.
Su Wen turned his head slightly, seeing that Director Wang had no remorse at all, he sighed and stopped in his tracks.
"Wen, what are you doing? This is their turf, let's not overestimate ourselves, let's leave quickly..." Zhang Cuilan was sweating profusely with anxiety.
"Don't rush, sis," Su Wen said, his eyes growing colder, "He needs to be taught a lesson, otherwise... this bastard will con even more people."
"Alright."
Moments later, several fully armed security guards cautiously entered the consultation room.
"Oh dear... You wouldn't leave when I told you to, now what are we going to do?" Zhang Cuilan stamped her foot, "Even if you can fight, you can't beat all of them at once."
Su Wen laughed, "Don't worry, nothing will happen, I'll make sure you get home safely."
"Beat this troublemaker up and lock him up, then contact the public security bureau and charge him with picking quarrels and provoking trouble," Director Wang was so enraged he was about to explode, what was the difference between this and someone shitting on his head?
The security guards in front took out metal riot forks and carefully approached Su Wen.
Su Wen's mouth twitched slightly, his knees slightly bent, and like a spring, he leaped up and kicked the leading security guard away.
As that guard was sent flying, the two behind him were struck by his massive frame and fell to the ground groaning.
The security guards turned pale with fright.
"What... what the hell is this guy?"
"What do we do? We're no match for him."
"Call the police, call the police."
They said, each taking out their cell phones.
"Stop it."
At this moment, a man in his sixties walked slowly over to Su Wen, looking at him with an odd expression.
This elder had a melon-seed face, phoenix eyes, and although his hair was graying, he looked younger than his age, kind, and emanated a faint scent of medicine.
When the people around saw the old man, their faces turned ashen.
Director Wang's face went pale, "I I I... Director, how come you're here?"
"The director?" Su Wen became wary at once.
This man was none other than the director of Jiangcheng First People's Hospital, "Lin Youwei."
It was said that Director Lin had won countless medical awards when he was young and was known as a medical genius.
Lin Youwei spoke, "I saw what happened just now on the surveillance... I don't usually interfere with hospital matters, but what you're doing is too much, Lin."
Wang Xianliang's legs went weak with fear, "Director, please let me explain, this bastard is a troublemaker sent by our competitors."
Lin Youwei's face immediately darkened, he looked at the security guards, "I'll give you one chance, is what Director Wang saying true?"
The security guards didn't dare to speak up.
Director Wang had been playing dirty for more than a day or two; it wouldn't matter if the director didn't care, but being confronted in person was a completely different story.
Silence was their answer, but Lin Youwei obviously didn't intend to let them off, "If you don't speak, you're all fired."
"Director, Director Wang is talking nonsense."
"That's right, I want to blow the whistle too, Director Wang himself gambles outside and owes a debt, he likes to intimidate patients into paying under the table."
"Also, Director Wang abuses his authority, messing around with the nurses below..."
Accusation after accusation made Director Wang's eyes roll back, and he fainted. There was no chance for him to defend himself anymore.
Lin Youwei snorted, "You take him to the public security bureau to file a report, as for the rest of you... I'll deal with you later."
