Douluo: Becoming a God by Relying on my Enemies

Chapter 21: Chapter 21: Ah Yin: "Hao-ge, I've Decided to Start a New Family. Don't Miss Me!"

A woman's phantom figure appeared in Yun Feng's spiritual world. She looked to be in her thirties, wearing an elegant blue-golden gown that shimmered like sunlight on water. Her otherworldly beauty was accentuated by sapphire eyes as flawless as gemstones. Around the hem of her skirt danced golden ribbons, exuding a faint, ethereal fragrance that lingered in Yun Feng's mind.

For some reason, Yun Feng found himself intrigued by her presence.

The woman was none other than Ah Yin. Her ethereal lips parted slightly as she spoke in a confused tone, "Where am I?"

"You're in my spiritual world," Yun Feng responded calmly.

Upon hearing this, Ah Yin's expression shifted to one of alarm. Memories of the earlier events surged in her mind, and an unspeakable fear gripped her.

Now able to speak, she wasted no time questioning Yun Feng. "What did you just put inside my body?"

Naturally, Yun Feng wasn't about to reveal the truth. With his limited mastery of the Soul Control Technique, fostering resistance would only hinder his progress. He smiled faintly and replied cryptically, "You'll find out in due time."

Ah Yin wanted to press further, but knowing the disparity in their power, she held back. Her life was now in Yun Feng's hands, and overstepping could mean death.

The less Yun Feng said, however, the more uneasy Ah Yin felt. Desperation began to bubble inside her. Though her previous sacrifice had left her with only fragments of consciousness and memory, she still retained her self-awareness.

If she had her original strength, she could have easily obliterated Yun Feng with a single spiritual attack. But in her current state, she was utterly powerless. Her frustration grew, her chest heaving with suppressed emotion.

Forcing herself to remain calm, she finally asked, "What are your intentions? How did you even find this place?"

Yun Feng simply smiled without answering. As far as he was concerned, Ah Yin was now his prisoner, and he had no obligation to explain himself.

Without another word, he severed their spiritual connection and turned his attention to exploring the cave.

Using his soul power, Yun Feng cleared the surrounding area, eventually spotting a hidden crevice in the rock wall. Inside, he found a long, black box.

It was a meter and a half long and about a foot wide. Yun Feng lifted it with both hands, its weight confirming the description from the original story—it was well over 200 pounds. Tapping the surface revealed a dull metallic sound, evidence of its extraordinary craftsmanship.

Though Yun Feng wasn't an expert in metallurgy or hidden weapons, he could tell the box's material was no ordinary metal.

Opening the box, Yun Feng saw a soul bone nestled within. A satisfied grin spread across his face as he closed the lid.

Ah Yin, ever watchful of Yun Feng's actions through their faint spiritual connection, couldn't remain calm. Seeing him claim her soul bone left her shaken to the core.

Yun Feng, on the other hand, couldn't help but laugh at Ah Yin's frantic response. Her trembling branches betrayed her anger, though he had cut off any means of communication with her.

Ignoring her agitation, Yun Feng proceeded to dig up Ah Yin's body from the soil. Ensuring no roots or fragments were left behind, he carefully placed her into a box he had prepared beforehand.

The box had a small opening for ventilation. After securing it, Yun Feng wrapped it tightly in a cloth bag.

As her surroundings shifted, Ah Yin fell into despair. Not only had Yun Feng taken her soul bone, but he was also kidnapping her entirely. This level of audacity left her speechless.

Meanwhile, Yun Feng contemplated leaving a message for Tang Hao. After all, Tang Hao had been a constant thorn in his side, forcing him to tread cautiously these past years.

A mischievous smile crossed Yun Feng's face. Picking up a stone, he carefully carved a message into the rock wall:

"Hao-ge, humans and soul beasts are destined to remain apart. Though my soul remains, I won't live to see my transformation. Recently, I couldn't resist the pursuit of a younger suitor from my clan."

"Take good care of our son. Forgive my sudden departure. I've decided to start a new family. Don't miss me!"

Satisfied with his handiwork, Yun Feng crushed the stone into powder and scattered it. He chuckled, imagining Tang Hao's reaction upon reading the message.

A wife's betrayal—running off with another soul beast, no less—was a humiliation few men could endure. For someone like Tang Hao, such a blow might just drive him to madness.

Standing at the edge of the cave, Yun Feng secured the bag containing Ah Yin and her soul bone. Spreading his wings, he launched himself into the air, soaring through the waterfall's cascade.

Feeling the weight of his spoils, Yun Feng's smile grew wider. His first major plan in this world had succeeded. All that remained was to find a quiet place to absorb the soul bone.

After consulting his map, Yun Feng decided to head in the opposite direction from where he had arrived, avoiding any chance encounters with Tang Hao. He knew the risks of lingering—delaying absorption could lead to disaster.

He also understood the importance of prudence. Absorbing a soul bone took time, leaving him vulnerable. The original Tang San had slept for several days during the process, completely defenseless.

Despite the apparent safety of the waterfall cave, Yun Feng wouldn't gamble on Tang Hao's absence. His presence in this timeline had already caused significant changes, from Xiao Wu's altered relationship with Tang San to Ah Yin's current predicament.

These butterfly effects only heightened his caution.

After traveling for half a day, Yun Feng found a small cave to rest for the night. Clearing the area with soul power, he finally sat down to examine his spoils.

Opening the bag, he placed Ah Yin's box carefully to one side before retrieving the soul bone.

The moment the soul bone appeared, a refreshing, invigorating aura filled the cave. The brilliant blue-gold glow of the right leg bone resembled a flawless gemstone, its beauty momentarily captivating Yun Feng.

His gaze softened, a hint of disbelief flickering in his eyes.

He didn't feel powerful or triumphant—just surreal. It was hard to grasp that such a legendary item now lay

in his hands.

But after a moment's reflection, Yun Feng's resolve returned.
