Dragon Ball Human

Chapter 23: Chapter 23: Stand Up

This was, of course, Tonpo, transformed through her magic.

Before Blue had made his move, Yamiru had warned Tonpo that this golden-haired, effeminate man not only had a thing for men, but also despised intimate contact from women. Yamiru remembered from the original Work that Blue had gotten angry and verbally lashed out when Bulma had tried to touch him.

(This actually happened)

Seizing the opportunity while everyone's attention was focused on Yamiru, who was immobilized by Blue's ability, Tonpo had cleverly used her transformation magic. From the moment her transformation was complete to the instant she leapt behind Blue, everything flowed seamlessly.

The sudden change made the onlookers wonder: how many times had this pig turned into a beautiful woman? How could she do it so skillfully and quickly, with such perfection?

"Get away!" Blue recoiled, feeling his eyes being assaulted by the sight of two chunks of pig meat in the form of a woman. Though he wanted to punch Tonpo and send him flying, his body seemed to resist the motion, and he could only take several steps back in haste. Just then, Blue felt a sharp pain in his lower back, realizing that his temporary loss of focus had caused the restraining force on Yamiru to disappear.

This was Yamiru's chance, and he struck Blue from behind with a powerful punch to his lower back.

While Yamiru wasn't exceptionally strong after his crossover, his physical power far exceeded that of an average adult man. The punch hit Blue hard enough to make him nearly lose his balance.

"Dammit!" Blue roared in fury, one hand clutching his aching lower back. The other hand, no longer concerned about his disgust, swung out and slapped Tonpo, sending her spinning in place before crashing to the ground at his feet. Whether she had collapsed or was knocked out cold, it was unclear, but she lay motionless with her rear end in the air.

Blue had originally intended to strike Tonpo in a retaliatory move, but with the pain in his back, he had been unable to properly launch the kick. This only made him feel more embarrassed and furious.

"You little bastard... you hesitated, didn't you?" Blue sneered, rubbing his sore back. "You've got some strength, no wonder you made Abe cry to me. Heh… you probably never really put your full strength into a fight, did you? That's why you hesitated when attacking my weak spot!"

Yamiru didn't respond, slowly stepping back as he glanced down at the still-transformed Tonpo lying unconscious. He figured that since his transformation magic hadn't ended, she was likely still alive.

At the same time, Yamiru couldn't help but feel a pang of shame. Every other transmigrator became decisive and ruthless after crossing over. No matter their past life, they were always harsh on themselves, self-disciplined, and hardworking. When it came to enemies, they were even more relentless, regardless of whether the grudge was big or small. They seized every opportunity to strike without hesitation.

But Yamiru had never practiced martial arts, let alone medicine. He truly had no idea what kind of consequences his reckless punch to someone's lower back would have.

"I don't know if I should call you arrogant or ignorant..." Blue rubbed his waist for a while, the pain slowly easing, and began to approach Yamiru. "I was also strong since childhood. But unlike you, I had a very different upbringing. Anyone who dared to bully me, who dared to dirty my clothes... or, anyone who dared to make me unhappy..." Blue cracked his knuckles, towering over Yamiru as he glared down.

"I never go easy!" Blue shouted, raising his fist and slamming it down toward Yamiru's head.

Yamiru only felt a sudden heat on his head, as though some liquid was pouring out. Then, a deafening silence overtook his ears, and the ground seemed to rush up toward him. Half of his face slammed into the earth, his head bouncing off the floor like a rubber ball. The sound of the impact echoed through his skull, and the pain in his head was so intense it felt as if his skull might crack open. It was the worst physical pain he had ever experienced in both of his lives.

'How Brutal!' The Leopard-headed man and others watching the scene were frozen in fear, all shrinking back.

Even the members of the Red Ribbon Army who were nearby couldn't help but glance sideways at the scene. This kind of merciless attack, delivered without hesitation to someone Blue had previously shown interest in, was on another level. They exchanged nervous glances, silently hoping that once Blue joined their ranks, he wouldn't be assigned to their teams.

Yamiru's eyes were wide open, the whites rapidly turning red as blood vessels appeared. It looked terrifying.

The pale swirl of his hair quickly turned black with blood, and his scalp was soaked. His body trembled slightly as his head pressed against the ground, his unblinking eyes fixed on the trembling fingers in front of him... He imagined those trembling hands belonged to Krillin before he was killed by King demon Piccolo subordinate, or to Yamcha lying in the pit after being killed by a self-detonating Saibamen, or to Goku after he let go of Raditz and fell to the ground... but none of them had been in his situation, pitifully beaten by a third grade villain.

"I haven't even taken a single step. I haven't even touched the backs of the strongest humans on Earth, like Krillin and Tien, so how dare I think that they would be tormented by not being able to catch up with the Super Saiyans?" Yamiru thought. "Only when I reach the level of those like Krillin will I have the right to talk about how Earthlings can never compare to the Saiyans."

Before crossing over, Dragon Ball was just a casual topic for him. He could enjoy being the self-proclaimed king of verbal battles, but after crossing over with the same attitude, wasn't he too arrogant?

His fists gradually clenched. He sniffed, and despite the pain, the corner of his mouth twisted into a slightly awkward smile.

"Oh? You're still moving?" Blue was a little surprised.

Yamiru, lying under Blue's foot, used his fists and palms to prop himself up. Drops of blood fell from his forehead, splattering on the hard, muddy ground, soaking it in dark stains. He wobbled as he tried to rise again.

But Blue simply kicked him, sending him rolling several times.

"Hm?" Blue felt something warm splatter on his cheek. He wiped it off, only to find it was blood from Yamiru's head. He recoiled in disgust, his skin crawling. He instinctively tried to wipe it off on his clothes but felt even more disgusted. At a loss for what to do, he forcefully flicked his blood-soaked fingers. By this time, Yamiru had shakily gotten back to his feet again. Blue's voice turned cold: "Did I tell you to move?"

As he spoke, his eyes once again flared with a shining light, and his immobilizing power pressed down on Yamiru like a mountain.

"What if… i want to move?" Yamiru once again felt as though he were trapped in a cement pillar, unable to move. But this time, amidst the overwhelming force of the restraint, he slowly, shakily lifted his head. Half of his face was covered in blood, yet his eyes gleamed with golden light, shining brilliantly. He tilted his head slightly and smirked, saying, "Five months… Staying in one place all the time doesn't seem right, does it?"

"How is that possible? How can you resist my powers?" Blue said in disbelief.

Yamiru, who had been like a frozen puppet, suddenly twisted his shoulders, then lifted his right foot. After hovering for a moment, it felt as though he shattered the invisible chains holding him back, and took a step forward.

It was as if the dark sky, which had been like a black blanket, was swiftly clearing away.

"What's that?" At the school wall, little Bulma, using binoculars, observed the distant outskirts. She could only see what seemed like a dragon-shaped object turn into a golden light and shoot up into the sky. She lowered the binoculars, and to her surprise, the sky had cleared and turned bright.

"It looks like the bad guys are bullying someone," Little Bulma continued, observing a few steps closer with her binoculars. She zoomed in on a golden-haired Blue who had just punched Yamiru's head, knocking him down to the ground. Adjusting the lens further, she spotted several Red Ribbon Army members in the background. She zoomed in again and recognized the Red Ribbon logo on their uniforms. "This is serious."

"Sister says bad guys need to be punished!" Little Bulma said to herself, putting down the binoculars, pulling out the homemade laser gun, and heading toward the scene.
