DRAGON IN MY WELL

Chapter 7: Chapter 7 : Lucky Strike

That was 0.5 kilograms.

Randall was going to be rich!

This 0.5 kilograms crab was conservatively estimated to be double the price of the 0.45 kilograms one!

This meadow was a treasure land in the water.

Randall surfaced, swam quickly to the dock, found Mike's broken fishing boat, and pushed it over.

Randall found so many crabs. He needed a fishing boat to load them all.

And there were a lot of mussels .

...

After parking the boat, Randall took the big net from the cabin and went back into the water.

Randall quickly the big fatty crab at his feet. So happy!

Especially in an area with high concentration of crabs, Randall was a little busy.

Some crabs, sensing the crisis, raised their claws and tried to run away.

"Trying to escape?"

Randall smiled at the situation. Instead of worrying, Randall then pointed at the crab.

"Don't move!"

Suddenly

The water within five meters froze.

The grass stopped swaying and the fish stayed. The crab stood still with it's pincers raised.

And then Randall sauntered over, bent down, and scooped them up in the net. It looked like Randall was picking up money. So easy.

In a moment the net was full .

Randall came out of the water, dumped the crabs in the cabin, re-entered the water.

After seven or eight trips, the floor of the cabin was covered with crabs.

Then Randall picked up the mussel and put it on the side of the boat.

In the light of the sun, the glass coloured mussel reflected a variety of colours, quite spectacular.

There was a click.

Randall took his phone out of his waterproof bag and couldn't resist taking a picture and texting it to Emilee.

Randall wrote, "Ms. Shelton, have you ever seen a mussel this big? Is it gimmicky enough?"

After sending this, Randall waited a short while but found that Emilee didn't respond, presumably because she was busy. So, Randall threw his phone into the boat and headed back to the bottom to find something bigger.

...

Meanwhile, at the Great Hotel in the center of Mullen.

Emilee just got out of the hotel kitchen .

The whole kitchen was working on all the side dishes, secret dishes and private dishes. They were all preparing.

The only thing Emilee really needed right now was something gimmicky!

Just the thought of it gave Emilee a headache.

Emilee sent all her people to the fish markets. But am hour passed and nothing came of it.

Emilee was angry.

This banquet was a critical opportunity to build word of mouth and a brand. If Emilee didn't do well, her hotel wouldn't stand a chance.

"What are these people thi? I suspect they're taking the money and not doing anything!

I must find a way out."

Emilee, secretly anxious, turned and returned to her office.

Emilee was going to contact her friends in the city. She wanted to ask her friends to buy some seafood at a high price from other hotels in the city.

But when Emilee walked into the office and picked up her phone on her desk, she was surprised.

Randall had sent her two messages.

"Did Randall catch some best goods?" Emilee perked up.

In this hopeful mood, Emilee quickly turned on her phone and clicked on the message.

As soon as Emilee clicked on the message a huge and glittering mussel rushed into her view.

Emilee's mouth dropped open and she said, "Oh! it's a mussel ! what a big mussel!

" How did you get this big? And it's a glass coloured mussel!

"I must buy this mussel! I'm going to put it on display in the lobby in a waterscape tank. It's the jewel of my hotel.

" Thank you!"

Emilee's face was glowing with excitement as she looked at the screen of her phone.

Emilee then saw Randall's message and couldn't help but be happy.

"Randall, you're my life saver. This huge mussel must be hundreds of years old! What a gimmick the century old mussel is!"

With that, Emilee couldn't help but pull up the picture and zoom in.

The enlarged image, however, shocked Emilee again.

"Crabs! There are crabs behind this mussel. Why so many crabs? The big one may weigh 0.5 kilograms!"

" I want to know where he is! I need to find him now!"

" Mussels and Crabs of this size can't fall into others hands!"

Emilee was worried.

Emilee's eyes were so caught up in the mussel that she ignored the crabs in the cabin.

Now, when she saw so many big wild crabs, Emilee was worried.

In this season, it was almost impossible to buy completely wild crabs of this size!

With this batch of wild crabs, after Emilee's publicity, her hotel would gain word of mouth and fame.

Rich people with a taste for crab were more likely to spend money at her hotel.

But when Emilee tried a voice call, there was no answer.

Emilee was worried so much.

" What is the matter? Why is no one answering the phone? please...

Emilee stamped her foot slightly. What exactly did Randall mean?

Randall sent a picture, and he didn't answer the phone. How could he do that?

Randall didn't know what was going on, and even if he did, he wouldn't have time to text back.

Because Randall had found something again!

It was a school of carps!

To be exact, the lead carp was a big red carp, arm long.

"Isn't this the red carp that symbolizes riches and fortune?"

Randall was excited. This was pure wild Red Carp!

And this big red carp was not only beautiful in shape, but pure in color. Each of it's scales was so delicate.

More than 70 golden carps behind it were also big.

If Randall caught all of these carps, he could earn at least 45,000 dollars. It was a pity the cabin was too small.

"Well, I don't care about the other carps. But the big red carp can't be measured at conventional prices. I'll catch it anyway."

Randall shook his fist in excitement, then ducked into the grass and waited for the carp to pass by.
