DxD: Lost in Time

[A/N: WARNING! This chapter is going strictly on a supporting character's POV so you may skip it but is not advisable. In chapters like these a minor event may lead to a major change in the next chapter so please do not skip if you will.]

Asami's POV~

My name is Asami Watashi. I am just a 9 year old painter living a relatively normal life until I discovered that Hisashi has powers.

At first, I was scared because people said witch craft is bad but seeing how much he enjoyed it and how friendly he was I decided to trust him.

Over time, magic started intriguing me each time he used it. I learned it wasn't magic down the lines, just Ki techniques.

At first, these techniques seemed boring to learn but I was able to see the truth.

He wasn't greedy with his secrets towards me, he was just teaching me the basics. Sensing the Life Energy in my body was but a start.

He first taught me meditation to calm the mind coupled with a couple of visualisation techniques. He told me to never lose focus, no matter what happens.

Flashback~

"Focus on your breathing, quite your mind and focus on the changes in your body." I was just down with an intense workout session. I learned that in due time, meditation removes fatigue in the body.

I do not know how much time passed but I felt at ease, nothing to worry about or any distractions. Just me, myself and I. Hisashi is having an influence on me.

'I sense something moving in my body.' A wave of energy surged from within me as I smile at how refreshing it felt. I slowly opened my eyes as I faced Hisashi, my heart beating fast at my success. I couldn't help but smile.

"Well done! After 4 years of training non-stop you have finally achieved breakthrough. I think it's time I let you in on a secret I discovered years back."

"Oh, what is it!" I jumped up waiting for whatever secret he was keeping with him.

"It's called cultivation and now you have discovered your Ki. Now I am going to tell you were you are heading next."

"The next phase is the body refining realm. For your own safety, I need you to master how to control your Ki until I am satisfied with your display."

"What is this body refining realm?" I asked curiously about these... realms.

"It's a realm one achieves when they have access to Ki. A cultivator must use their Ki to cleanse the body from its impurities.

Breaking through this realm means you will be able to use energy from everything in your surroundings.

There are more realms that I will not mention as they are not of enough of a concern. Is that a good enough explanation?" I got fired up when I heard his explanation.

"I have no further questions,"

I am now in the 9th Rank of the Body Refining Realm.

When I reached the 3rd Rank I couldn't advance using the Ki Breathing techniques so he taught me a new one, the Ki Circulation techniques which involves entering a deep state of meditation and circulating my energy. That pretty much sums it up.

Right now I was trying out something Hisashi wanted me to do before he left.

"Wow! I can't believe it. Hisashi was right," A ball of light floated from above my hands as I sat cross legged. I was actually a fallen angel, that's the reason why he decided to train me earlier than Shinji and Kaito.

According to Hisashi, I may be targeted by some really bad people because of this. I want to play with my friends but Hisashi says that he might always be in trouble. I want to help him when the time comes.

"Maybe I should try making weapons out of it. Like the ones used by Samurai," After getting familiar with this new power, I used my experience with Ki to shape the light sphere. I was able to form a light sword with no effort.

"I should try this again later." I got up so I can check on my friends and see what they are doing. They probably can't feel their arms by now.

I walked throughout the bustling streets. I passed by each house, some small and others fitting nobles. It has been like this ever since Hisashi defeated those thieves years ago. Noble feel much safer here.

I noticed the sun has reached its peak. I occasionally passed by some trees as well and I noticed flowers growing on them. I then finally arrived to the where Kaito lives. Speaking of that Baka, it turns out I was right.

"You overdid it again didn't you?" I already knew the answer.

"Maybe..." A boy with black hair that reached his shoulder and bright blue eyes lay down on his back, his chest heaving up and down. I could not help but sigh at the sight.

"Hisashi said you should take it easy," she shook her head.

"I know, I know," he dismissed my reminder, trying to force himself off the grass. A woman

approached the two. She had blue hair kept a bobcut, bright blue eyes and a slim, voluptuous figure.

She wore a pink hakama with Japanese wooden sandles.

"Dear. Why don't you come inside and rest a little? You have been doing this for hours."

"I need to spend time with my all my friends today mother, so I can't do that," Kaito got up and left the yard without saying anything else and left.

"*Sigh* Tell me again why he is doing all this."

"He wants to get powers so he can defend the village," I answered his mother as we watched his back and disappearing into the rather spacious building.

"Yeah," She replied before she opened her eyes wide and turned around to find two figures standing in front of him.

Said person was a man.

"This is where you have been hiding all this time, little nun. You even have a young fallen angel with you."

"What do you want Sirzechs." Kaito's mother asked the red haired man with hostility.

"That is not really important," he said as he closed his eyes before he continued, "What's important is what I really want. I need you to help me with the riot back at home,"

"I can't help you with that I am afraid. I have already been ex-communicated from the church when I helped you once. I am not doing it again."

"Just think about it though. Anyways I am also here for another reason. There is a someone who lives in this village. He has a very strange aura around him."

"Please him alone, he has nothing to do with this," she said with a weird glint flashing through her eyes.

"So you know of this person. Then that can only mean he or she is not a threat, I want to talk to this person about something though I assure you, it is their decision to make."

"Fair enough, she watched as he turned to leave towards a certain direction." "Who were they?"

"Just a few old friends of mine," she said as gazed at the distance, seemingly confused about something.

"So they are part of the three factions too?" I asked curiously as I knew that she was no longer participating in all this magical business.

"That is correct." The two stood there for a few moments before the two started chatting as if nothing happened. She did notice something weird though.

Apparently, she was walking towards the Itou Residence. The same direction the stranger was headed.
