Elden Ring Decks within Yu-Gi-Oh!

"Lets Duel" we both say at the same time.

Looking towards him I let him go first.

"I draw, hum lets see what draw. wait isn't that the card you gave me. . ." 

The kids poker face is non existent it seems, maybe its because he's been reliant on Yubel's guidance, wait this might be his first duel without Yubel's Help.

Knowing that codling him isn't the right move I let him work out his own strategy for the game. 

"Ok, Lets start with playing two cards face down and a face down Monster on my field, I'll end there."

Seeing him fill his field I smile and draw before looking at my cards. the cards in my hand cause me to pause slightly, I look at Jaden before closing my eyes and making a decision.

 "Firstly I use the effect of a card in my hand. I reveal from my hand The Blood Cocoon Plot spell card."

I reveal to the child a depiction of child kidnapping and Moghlestation, with Mogh carrying an unconscious Miquella.

"When I reveal this card in my hand it allows me to search my deck for Miquella, the kind and add him to my hand." When I say this Miquella's card pops out of the deck, Taking his card I play it onto the field Summoning him.

like before Miquella appears in a ring of golden light using it like a portal on the floor, but unlike his last appearance his hair doesn't reach the ground and its not wild like before as it appears to have been braided into an intricate Braid.

Understanding its a requirement to tame the long bush like hair he has I don't comment.

"I Summon Miquella, the kind. When he's summoned he allows me to search my deck for The Haligtree Roots Field card."

Again my deck dispenses another card which I add to my hand.

"For now I'll play the Haligtree roots before placing 2 Face down cards, then ending my turn."

This declaration comes with the Surrounding forests starting to coalesce into a nest of Roots and trunks to make a reappearance of the Wooden Miquella figure.

The Surrounding changing to the Haligtree causes Stars to shine in the eyes of Jaden.

"SOOO COOl !!, Is this the Kiba Tech at work." he says while looking around at the details.

"yeah it is but before you get lost in the illusion, its your turn."

Hearing my words it catches his attention back to the duel and when he sees my field he tilts his head in contemplation at the appearance of my field.

"I Draw. Nice, From my hand I summon Sparkman In Attack Mode before activating the card you gave me."

Summoning monster without flipping the other one makes me believe it might be a flip effect monster but I have little time to postulate before Jaden acts.

"Sparkman Attack Miquella, the kind with your Shock bolts." as Sparkman hears the command he raises his arms to attack but before he attacks he looks at Miquella in the eyes who glances at the Hero as well, A runic arc of light appears above the head of Sparkman.

Jaden looks at Sparkman with confusion "Sparkman Why aren't you fighting and what's with the light ring."

to relive his confusion I speak. "well its Miquella's natural aura, those who gaze upon him are charmed to not cause him harm, this means he can't be targeted by attacks, but due to this and how the rules work it makes it so Sparkman can attack me directly since he's currently alone on my field."

As I say this I watch Sparkman turn towards me with the charged arm.

"Erm, that's a weird effect but I won't pass up on free damage. Sparkman Attack Dro directly!"

As He goes to strike at me in the middle of the field A large Orange Flower bud starts to grow out of the ground between me and Sparkman.

"Sadly Jaden, I have to stop that, I activate the Trap card Scarlet Aeonia"

"its allows me to reveal the top 5 cards of my deck and if there's a Fire type Warrior Monster with 1000 or less DEF in the cards, it allows me to Special summon them."

Saying this the top cards of my deck are ejected out, placing my hand separate from the cards I look though the 5.

Looking at the first four cards I was thinking my prospects was low but when the Daughters were revealed their appearance upset Miquella for some completely unknown reason but his worries were ignored as from the Scarlet Aeonia on the field, a Quadruple of Sisters manifest from the Expanding Bloom, each looking different and wielding vastly different weapons, I shuffle the other 4 cards back into the deck.

"Also When the daughters of Rot are summoned I'm allowed to add a specific Monster to my hand from the deck." saying that a companion returns to my hand while adding a Rot Counter to the Haligtree.

 Seeing the Sisters appear Jaden is stunned for a moment but looks at Sparkman on the field before looking glum. "I'll end my turn."

Drawing a card I look at my hand and smile at the card the daughter got and formulating my attack strategy.

"I Summon to the field Decaying Millicent in Atk mode."

A flourish of Scarlet red Butterflies manifesting onto the field and from the collective Millicent appears and She doesn't look happy with me, With good reason. I just whisper the word "sorry." to her.

"When Millicent is summoned I can discard 1 card from my hand to search for a Equip Spell in my deck, I'll discard Blood Cocoon plot and add Valkyrie's Prosthesis to my hand before playing it on Millicent, this increases her ATK by 700 to 2000."

my words explain the rapid movement of cards upon the field to Jaden who seems to be bewildered at the plays due to their speed.

"Now Battle phase. Millicent take down Sparkman please." Millicent seems to sigh before jumping into the air and cuts down the blue hero fulfilling the Sparkman 1 turn curse.

Jaden lights up and flips open his other face down. "I activate, Hero Counterattack!, You have to pick a card from my hand and if its a Hero, I destroy one monster on your field."

At the activation of the trap I pause for a second. "well Millicent also has an effect when she destroys a monster so if I remember effect order rules again your trap goes first then Millicent. ok then."

Looking at Jaden's hand I just see a pair of cards. "the right one." at my words Jaden smiles to reveal a Elemental Hero Wingman

Seeing the appearance of Bubbleman my smile drops and Using his Protagonist Intuition he examines my board and find some how figures out my most useful card on the field.

"to be honest I don't like it but I get really bad vibes from Miquella so I'll have to remove him from the field."

His intuition is scary since I know if I draw just one card Malenia is appearing to just butcher his deck.

I watch as the Bisected Sparkman throws what seems to be a Grenade aiming for his killer but his form collapses to the ground and the grenade flies towards Miquella who doesn't recognise what a modern grenade is when the closest comparison he could have had would have been a Pot weapon.

The grenade explodes in a Blast of sparks and light and Miquella is Removed from the field and sent to the graveyard.

"Well now that's resolved I'll activate Millicent's effect which allows me to add an equip spell from the deck to my hand when she defeats a monster."

"Man you really like searching your deck." at Jaden's words I just smile joyfully.

"Now Daughters of Rot attack the face down monster Monster."

The Daughters Raise their weapons and all go to slam them against the face down Monster but as they Hit, they strike against a Hard material that rebuffs their blades, The Monster is revealed to be a bulbous form of Brown masses with a distinct red mass for a head.

Now that stopped my plans for now.

"Main phase 2 I'll Equip Miquella's Needle to Millicent before ending my turn."

When I play Miquella's Needle on the field the card is revealed like before but instead of Miquella applying the needle himself, Millicent walks over to the card and takes the needle out from the card.

When the needle is out The daughters of Rot Surround Millicent facing away from her to hide her form from both me and Jaden using their robes as makeshift curtains, all we both see of the equipping of the needle is a flash of light before the sisters return to their Monster zones.

"I draw" I hear Jaden say before he looks at the card with confusion then his hand and i can see the gears in his head turn and like he just figured out algebraic functions he has a genius moment that would become common in his future. 

"I play one face down card before Summoning from my Hand Necro Gardna before Special summoning Elemental HERO Bubbleman from my hand using his effect, When he's summoned this way he allows me to Draw two cards."

I watch as he draws two cards and then I see him look at the cards on his duel disk and smiles like he won the lottery before revealing the face down spell card he just played.

"I activate Black hole, Destroying all monsters on the field due to its effect."

At his words I just smile and see his play, as all the monsters on the field except Millicent are destroyed by the black hole, Millicent just stands there impervious to the Quasar due to a Golden aura surrounding her emanating from the Needle.

"Due to the Effect of Stuff of champions I'm allowed to add a Warrior or Beast warrior to me hand with less Defence when a monster is destroyed by card effect, and with this black hole I just sent three to the Graveyard so I'll add three Monsters to my hand."

I watch his hand grow at the effective use of the card before I get a weird sense of foreboding.

"From my hand I Activate the card Polymerization, I fuse together Elemental HERO Avian and Elemental HERO Burstinatrix to Fusion Summon Elemental HERO Flame Wingman!"

Seeing Jaden's First Fusion Monster makes me remember the nostalgia of growing up with the show but my nostalgia is cut short as I hear Jaden continue speaking.

"Now from my hand I play the Quick Attack Spell card, that allows me to Attack with Flame Wingman this turn, Go flame Wingman take out Millicent."

I see the hero Jump onto a Root branch of the Haligtree and do a diving strike towards Millicent. I look though the cards in my hand but I shake my head as Millicent is defeated, due to the effect of Flame wingman I take damage equal to her ATK so that's 2000

"using the effect of The Haligtree I remove two Rot counters from it and regain Miquella's Needle and Valkyrie's Prosthesis to my hand."

Placing the cards back in my hand I look at Jaden, this is so fun.
