Chapter 6: Chapter 6 Revenge
Looking at the closed door of the office, Gu Xueqi's lips curled into a smile, "You really are a unique person, no wonder that woman likes you."
As her words ended, Gu Xueqi picked up her phone and dialed a number.
"Meng Chan, I'll treat you to dinner tonight, you must come."
As for Qin Hao, he left the office and was ready to head back.
However, someone blocked his way.
"Excuse me, thank you." Qin Hao said with a smile, feeling very polite at that moment.
The person had no nonsense and kicked straight at Qin Hao.
Qin Hao stepped back slightly and dodged the kick.
"Not bad," a proud female voice rang out.
It was only then that Qin Hao took a good look at the person; she was a girl in a white T-shirt with short, ear-length hair, wearing a pair of pearl earrings, with delicate features but definitely not frail—rather, she was full of spirit, especially notable were those long slender legs, straight and well-proportioned with a graceful figure and exceptionally beautiful lines.
At that moment her big eyes were glaring at Qin Hao as if she wanted to devour him.
"Classmate, I don't think we know each other." Qin Hao scratched his head, saying somewhat perplexedly.
He did not know why the other party attacked him, and Qin Hao was sure he had not offended her.
"There's no need to know each other, you just need to know that I want to hit you," the girl said hotly, and as soon as her words fell, she swung at him.
Qin Hao dodged her punch, his expression became serious, and he seriously said, "This classmate, if you try to hit me again, I will have to fight back, my mom said not to let me suffer any losses."
"Try to fight back if you dare," the girl scoffed disdainfully, although Qin Hao had dodged her attack again and again.
"Kids who like to fight are not good kids, they get spanked," Qin Hao said very seriously.
"Bully."
The girl's face turned cold, and she charged at Qin Hao again.
"Little Yue, stop," just then, a voice rang out, and the girl's movement abruptly ceased.
She turned around and looked at the newcomer, complaining, "Qianqian, I was avenging you."
The newcomer was Zhu Qian, and the girl was Tang Yue, one of the school beauties at Baihai University, who had some martial arts training, earning her the nickname 'Mother Tiger.'
Many of Zhu Qian's suitors had been chased off by Tang Yue.
She was obviously seeking trouble with Qin Hao this time to take revenge for her friend.
"I was avenging you," Tang Yue said discontentedly.
"The one who hit me was Xia Mengchan, not him, what revenge are you trying to take for me?" Zhu Qian said, half-amused and half-desperate.
Tang Yue paused, realizing the logic, but going to hit Xia Mengchan was definitely impossible, she couldn't reach her at all.
"I will take my own revenge," Zhu Qian said huffily.
"That's the spirit," Tang Yue gave a thumbs up.
Zhu Qian then turned her gaze to Qin Hao, a blush crossing her face, and then as if making a tremendous decision, she said, "Qin Hao, starting from today, I will pursue you until I take you away from Xia Mengchan's hands, if she dares to hit me, I will steal her boyfriend."
"What?" Tang Yue's eyes nearly popped out, what a method of revenge this was.
Qin Hao was also somewhat dumbfounded, what was this girl thinking?
Then, Qin Hao walked over to Zhu Qian, and touched her forehead.
"What are you doing?" Zhu Qian's face turned red, and she took a small step back, but remembering her purpose, she stopped and stood there, looking ready to bravely face whatever came.
"You don't have a fever, so why are you spouting nonsense?" Qin Hao said, puzzled.
Zhu Qian understood; Qin Hao was implying she was crazy. She glared at him and retorted, "You're the one who's crazy."
Qin Hao burst out laughing—the girl was quick on the uptake.
Glancing at the sky, Qin Hao shrugged and said, "Suit yourself. I'm going home now, goodbye."
Without waiting for the girls to react, he walked past them and left the place.
"Are you really going after him? Are you insane?" Tang Yue stared at Zhu Qian in disbelief.
Zhu Qian replied with a giggly voice, "Yes, I'm definitely going after him, and I want the whole school to know I'm pursuing that guy."
Tang Yue paused slightly, then a knowing, mischievous smile spread across her face: "You're so bad."
"Who's to blame when he bullied me and even got me slapped? A girl must take her revenge," Zhu Qian huffed.
She wasn't some innocent little lamb, after all; anyone who crossed her would face her revenge.
"Do we really not need to retaliate against Xia Mengchan?" Tang Yue changed the subject.
Zhu Qian thought for a moment, then shook her head, somewhat gloomily, "Forget it, she doesn't know who I am, and besides, it's really hard to hate that woman."
Knowing some of Zhu Qian's issues, Tang Yue didn't press further.
"Come on, let's go have some barbecue," Zhu Qian changed the subject.
"Great, I want the grilled meat from Han Na Mountain, like seven or eight plates," Tang Yue's eyes lit up.
The two left hand in hand, completely putting the earlier incident behind them.
Qin Hao hailed a cab and went home. Although he wasn't exactly rich, he had two to three hundred thousand yuan, all given by his old man, so there was no need to be thrifty.
Besides, the school wasn't too far from where he lived, so it wouldn't cost much.
Upon opening the door, Qin Hao walked in, but his eyes narrowed instantly.
Several people were sitting in the living room, staring at him, and two of them even held guns.
Qin Hao was only slightly startled before he shut the door and walked in.
"You're quite smart," Jiang Chenhu said with a faint smile.
"You're not too smart," Qin Hao walked into the room, a smile also on his face, unfazed by the guns pointed at him.
Jiang Chenhu scoffed, convinced that Qin Hao's composure was a facade; no matter how good his skills were, he couldn't stop bullets.
"No one in Baihai City survives after crossing the Jiang Family, and you're no exception," Jiang Chenhu said coldly.
Remembering the humiliation he had faced earlier, he wished he could tear Qin Hao apart.
"You want to kill me?" Qin Hao sat down on the sofa across from Jiang Chenhu, looking him in the eye.
"I must commend your smarts again," Jiang Chenhu's handsome face broke into a smile, his subordinates also sneering, for it was quite obvious.
Qin Hao smiled faintly and said softly, "Then I won't have any hesitations."
Jiang Chenhu suddenly sensed something was off and immediately shouted, "Do it, kill him."
The two gunmen were ready to pull the trigger, but just as the thought crossed their minds, they froze, their vision darkening as they plunged into endless darkness.
Two bright silver needles were embedded in their foreheads, robbing them of their lives.
