Chapter 18 Sun and Moon Mountain Range 2

“Move aside,” Ye Mo said indifferently as she looked at Ye Yan.

Yemo was startled by Ye Mo’s sudden outburst and unconsciously took a step back.

With Ye Yan out of the way, Yemo proceeded past him, along with Yilin and Yiluo, without giving Ye Yan a second glance.

Seeing this, Ye Yan became furious. “Come on, let’s go. I want to see where that little brat is heading.”

Ye Tian felt somewhat helpless hearing this. What was the point of this?

However, since Ye Yan was determined to follow, he had no choice but to go along and see what was happening.

The two of them trailed Yemo until they noticed her instructing a servant to prepare three horses for them.

“Why would they need horses?” Ye Yan and Ye Tian exchanged puzzled glances.

Deciding to find out, they had a servant fetch two horses and then followed Yemo and her group.

Yiluo rode on horseback and glanced back at Ye Yan and Ye Tian who were tailing them. She then sped up to join Ye Mo’s side.

“Miss, Ye Yan and Ye Tian are following us.”

“Don’t worry about them; just speed up. We must reach the Sun and Moon Mountains before dark,” Ye Mo replied, accelerating and putting distance between them.

Seeing this, Yilin and Yiluo quickly followed suit.

The sound of hooves echoed, and dust billowed as Ye Tian sat on his horse, watching in amazement at the speed of the three figures ahead. “Second Sister, how can Ye Mo, a seven-year-old child, be such a skilled rider?”

“Less chatter and catch up!” Ye Yan, irritated, whipped the horse to move faster.

Although they increased their speed, they eventually lost sight of Yemo and her companions.

Stopping at a fork in the road, Ye Yan sat on his horse with a scowl. “Damn it, I have no idea where that brat Ye Mo has gone.”

Ye Tian gazed ahead and said, “Second Sister, they must be heading to the Sun and Moon Mountains. One of these roads leads there, while the other goes to Lanzhou City. Although Ye Mo didn’t take this route when returning, he did pass by Lanzhou City. Since there’s no need to go there, they must be headed for the Sun and Moon Mountains.”

Upon hearing this, Ye Yan was still bewildered. “What is that little brat Ye Mo doing in the Sun and Moon Mountains?”

“I don’t know, but let’s follow them to find out.”

“Fine.”

At an inn not far from the Sun and Moon Mountains, Yilin and Yiluo ordered some food.

Yemo sat at a table and poured three glasses of water, one for each of them.

“Miss, there are many people here in the inn, and it seems like they’re all heading to the Sun and Moon Mountains,” Yilin remarked, glancing at the crowd.

“There are three tables,” Ye Mo said, raising a glass of water to her lips. She spoke softly, so only Yilin and Yiluo could hear. “The people at those three tables have concealed weapons underneath, and they have various packages around them, each with a different size and color. This means they come from different sources, and they are here specifically to commit robberies.”

Upon hearing this, Yilin and Yiluo examined the three tables more closely and realized that Ye Mo’s observation was accurate.

Their young lady possessed remarkable insight, able to discern these details at a glance.

Xiao Er soon brought their food, and as Yilin and Yiluo prepared to dig in, Ye Mo’s chopsticks accidentally brushed against two dishes.

The two dishes in question were rabbit meat and Chinese cabbage.
