Emperor's Domination

Chapter 6250: To Ashes

Others quietly moved away, not wanting to be close to her. Although she didn’t exert an oppressive aura, her cold demeanor and ugly side intimidated them.

Of course, they didn’t dare to disrespect a pseudo-emperor from God Frontier - a power rivaling Desolate Frontier that had survived several direct assaults.

This didn’t mean God Frontier wanted to antagonize the behemoth. Anyone with a bit of rationality would refrain from doing so. According to the legends, Far-dao lost to Moshi long ago, hence needing to stand with Supreme Heaven.

This forced them to fight against Desolate Frontier, a staunch ally of Life and Death Heaven.

“Looks like this is the place we’re looking for.” An elegant and dignified voice came from a carriage.

“Ruyi Monarch.” Many bowed after seeing this middle-aged man, another pseudo-emperor from Devil Cult.

This was a top sect under Trinity Kingdom. It served as a tributary and to produce more emperors.

Trinity started this polarizing system to have more emperors under its banner. For example, it had six emperors at the moment but in reality, it had far more than that. The number six referred to apex emperors - those with actual authority in the kingdom. Weaker emperors took charge of Devil Cult’s various regions.

Dissenters of this system found it disrespectful to the emperors. On the other hand, it could prevent divisions.

Because of the pros, Seventy-two Skyraiser Sect and Immortal Gate followed this system as well.

“Ruyi Monarch might be able to join Trinity Kingdom.” Someone whispered.

Although he was only a pseudo-emperor, he had immense talent and most importantly, effective administrative ability. The countries under Devil Cult prospered due to his policies so he could do the same for Trinity Kingdom.

Rumor has it Trinity rarely appeared and the six apex emperors were up there in age. They required a capable successor.

“This has to be the source of the dragon vein, the accumulation of worldly energy.” Another person spoke; his voice trumped all others.

As he stood there imperiously, waves of flames pulsed around him as if he were an offspring of the sun.

“Skyraiser Crown Prince.” Many spoke his title.

“Another pseudo-emperor, they certainly came prepared.” One ancestor whispered.

“He recovered so fast.” Some were startled to see his condition because he was smacked by Ye Sha not long ago, potentially dying from the strike.

“He has an emperor as his dao protector, so even a fatal injury can be healed.” One ancestor said.

“Four pseudo-emperors are here.” The crowd stared at the main characters and could see the start of a competition.

“They want to borrow the source to help create a dao fruit.” One cultivator said softly.

“Is it that difficult to reach the imperial stage?” A youth said.

They were aware of the difficulty in obtaining a dao fruit. Even the best of the best could stop at the pseudo level.

“It’s not easy, just look at Bronze-blade Ancestor.” A last-gen cultivator whispered.

Others stared at Bronze-blade Ancestor and became sentimental. This was a warning to them.

They were aware of his legends from long ago - the most talented and most blessed of his generation. He was the youngest pseudo-emperor and made a mark in history. Few were as talented as him so if he had trouble, what about them?

“Might as well go the desolate god path.” An ambitious genius murmured to herself.

The imperial path might amount to nothing. Thus, the young geniuses preferred to change the path to something with a higher chance of success.

Other pseudo-emperors might be offended by the crowd’s gazes, but Bronze-blade Ancestor didn’t mind it at all.

“What’s special about this vein?” One youth asked.

“A boundless amount of worldly energy.” A big shot said: “Cultivating at the source for just one day can help break bottlenecks.”

“Then let’s go down.” The youth felt his heart beating faster.

Who didn’t want to break through in just one day? Moreover, they could tell how special it was due to the arrival of the pseudo-emperors.

Thus, many became tempted to jump down.

“Let’s go!” Many experts and ancestors wanted to go before the pseudo-emperors for a good position.

Therefore, their groups jumped into the abyss. As they descended, something terrible daunted - the heat waves from the barks became more palpable.

“Ahhh!” They couldn’t react in time before being burnt to ashes.

A few were fast enough to fly back up but it was still too late. They became ashes while ascending from the remnant flames.
