Chapter 344: Chapter 350: Your Thoughts, Her Thoughts
Rachel McAdams exclaimed in amazement, "I just saw an absolutely massive dressing room!"
Amanda playfully bit Rachel's hand—not too hard, but not too lightly either. Rachel let out a sharp yelp and quickly pulled her hand back.
Amanda then said, "It's just a giant dressing room, is that really worth all this mystery? Martin's house is this huge, so isn't it normal to have a massive dressing room? Oh, and by the way, I just got oil all over your hand."
"It's just a little grease!" Rachel nonchalantly grabbed a napkin and wiped her hand, then continued, "A dressing room alone wouldn't be anything special, but—"
Her expression grew even more mysterious, laced with a hint of shock.
Even now, thinking back on it, she still found it hard to believe—rows upon rows of wardrobes inside that enormous dressing room, each one labeled with a name. It had left her wondering if she was hallucinating.
"…The dressing room is filled with wardrobes, and every single one of them has a name—Lindsay Lohan, Jessica Alba, Miranda Kerr, Charlize Theron, and even—"
Rachel paused for a moment, took a deep breath, and then continued, "Even Nicole Kidman! I have a feeling they're all Martin's women, and they must all know about each other. Otherwise, why would their names be so blatantly displayed on the wardrobes?"
"What the fuck!"
Amanda's large eyes widened in shock, to the point where she almost looked like—uh, a chihuahua!
"So, if Lindsay doesn't mind sharing Martin with so many women, then she probably wouldn't mind me joining in either, right?"
"What the fuck!"
"I still want to be friends with Lindsay—real friends! But after seeing this mansion, I can't stop myself from wanting to seduce Martin. Amanda, do you think I'm terrible?"
"What the fuck!"
"Amanda, can you stop saying the same thing over and over again?"
Amanda swallowed hard and blurted out, "Who's the crazy one here? Me or you?"
At that moment, a calm voice greeted them from the dining room entrance.
"Good morning, ladies."
Amanda and Rachel turned to see Wentworth standing there.
"Good morning, Wentworth."
Amanda greeted him as well, then suddenly smirked and whispered to Rachel, "Heh, your little plan is doomed now. I don't believe for a second that you'd dare to skinny dip in front of Wentworth!"
Rachel shrugged. "You're right, I wouldn't dare. Oh well, it's not like I had fully made up my mind anyway. The reason I told you about it was so you'd stop me."
Amanda chuckled. "Well, at least you sound normal again."
Rachel subtly gestured toward Biu and Heather, who were busy in the kitchen. "I wonder what's really going on between those two beauties and Martin? No way they're just maids—they're way too gorgeous."
"Shut up, they're coming over," Amanda warned. Rachel immediately clammed up.
Biu brought Wentworth his breakfast.
"Thank you," Wentworth said politely, making sure not to linger his gaze on the beautiful maid. He quickly lowered his head and started eating.
Clearly, he also suspected that these two stunning maids had a deeper connection to Martin.
Back in the kitchen, Heather whispered to Biu, "Who is that handsome guy? Martin rarely brings men to this estate—aside from Gordon and the bodyguards."
"I asked Gordon last night. Apparently, he's a small-time actor that Martin values. Maybe another guy about to be pulled into the Meyers family."
"Whatever, not my concern," Heather said, clearly uninterested in Wentworth. She was far more intrigued by Rachel and Amanda.
"Biu, those two women definitely have their sights set on Martin—especially Rachel! Hmph, I knew something was off last night when I saw how she looked at him. It was the same way I look at him!"
Biu laughed and whispered back, "Heather, at least you're self-aware!"
"Well, of course—I have a mirror!" Heather teased.
A little while later, Martin and Lindsay finally came downstairs, fully dressed.
It had been more than an hour since they woke up—an unusually long time just to freshen up.
Seeing Martin and Lindsay appear, Rachel suddenly became more composed and greeted them properly alongside Amanda.
Wentworth Miller, on the other hand, was practically bowing like a subordinate meeting his boss.
After breakfast, Wentworth tactfully excused himself.
He had seen right through Rachel's little schemes and, though he wasn't sure what Amanda was thinking, he figured it wasn't his place to stay and interfere with Martin's affairs.
Martin was pleased with Wentworth's tact. As the actor was about to leave, Martin patted him on the shoulder and said, "Get in touch with CAA as soon as possible. Oh, and about your car—it's still being held as evidence, so you won't get it back for a few days. I'll have the production crew arrange a ride for you."
"Thanks a lot, that really helps," Wentworth said sincerely.
Martin signaled for a bodyguard to take Wentworth back to his place, then returned to the dining room.
Seeing that Amanda had finished her meal, Martin wrapped an arm around Lindsay's shoulders and smiled.
"Ladies, what's the plan for today?"
Rachel was just about to speak when Amanda discreetly stepped on her foot, making her shut up immediately.
Lindsay perked up with excitement. "Martin, how about we go out on the water? Oh, and let's bring Biu and Heather too."
Heather beamed, leaning toward Biu and whispering, "This is why Lindsay is my favorite out of all of Martin's women—she's so generous!"
Biu, however, had a different thought.
"It seems like Martin also favors Lindsay the most… None of Martin's women openly fight, but they all subtly compete with each other—except Lindsay. No one ever targets her."
That realization sent a chill down Biu's spine. She glanced at Lindsay again, her gaze shifting ever so slightly.
Could it be that this girl was actually the most calculating and intelligent of them all?
…Biu was clearly overthinking things.
Lindsay might not be dumb, but she wasn't exactly scheming either.
She simply lived to please Martin, to the point where making him happy had become the most important thing in her life.
As long as Martin was happy, she was happy.
And that was precisely why Martin doted on her so much.
Since Lindsay had made the suggestion, Martin readily agreed, and no one else had any objections.
Martin glanced at Rachel and Amanda, then turned to Lindsay and said, "They don't have swimsuits—lend them a couple of your bikinis."
"Sure! Rachel, Amanda, come with me."
…
Soon enough, everyone was packed and ready to go, each carrying a small bag as they stepped out of the mansion.
Rachel whispered excitedly to Amanda, "Are we going on a yacht? I've never been out to sea before—this is so exciting!"
"I haven't either," Amanda replied, much calmer by comparison.
Biu and Heather, meanwhile, were deep in a discussion about their bikinis.
"Oh no, Heather, are you serious about those bottoms? That's literally just two strings."
"So what? Aside from Martin, it's all girls."
"But—"
"No buts! We need to make a move. I can't wait any longer—I want to be Martin's woman! Hmm… and his confidante, just like Drew Barrymore!"
