Chapter 104: Turning Up The Heat! Defend Trya!
"Welcome back from the ad break, folks! The time is now 8:30 AM, and some of the racers have arrived from the outskirts of Embercliff! Let's go to my other colleague Mana for more info-" Looking at the camera, he saw Michael, Xavier, Trya, King Raja, and thousands of other soldiers on the battlefield. "LOOK HERE, FOLKS! WE GOT A BATTLE BETWEEN- WAIT, IS THAT KING RAJA? RAJA IS ON THE RACETRACK ALONG WITH TRYA VELASQUEZ, HER BROTHER XAVIER, AND MICHAEL!" Back on the battlefield, Trya continued to look across the blurry battlefield. "This feels like 100 needles have been stuck in my head…" she thought to herself. Trying her best to emerge from the sand, she stood up on her two feet. "I-If I don't get treatment for this wound soon, I'll most likely die…" she thought to herself. Glancing slightly at Michael and Xavier, she sighed. "My life has fallen into your hands… Please, brother." Michael, in the center of all the chaos, smiled as Raja continued to clash with the cleaver he had received. "There's so many of them!" he exclaimed. At this point, he couldn't see any soldiers, but he could predict one coming at him with a sharp object, or his bare hands.
That was the power of Bana, the purple glow. Suddenly, Raja's sword was able to cast a small cut on Michael, extracting a small amount of blood. Retreating from the massive blow that was casted on him, Raja smiled. "I can cut this whole desert in half! Nobody can STOP ME!" Across the battlefield, Xavier could hear the electrical charge coming from the sword as Raja lifted it up into the sky. "That's not good!" he exclaimed, running across the battlefield to save Michael. Throwing down his sword, the ground across the battlefield continued to crumble, almost engulfing the concerned Xavier. Spawning another phantom to use as a surfboard to rush across the battlefield to MIchael's side, the soldiers continued to shoot the phantom, now aware of its impact on its caster. "Shit! They've found out every single attack I have in the book! Crossing his hands once again, he despawned the phantom, substituting it with a pterodactyl he had tamed. "We have to get over there in time!" he exclaimed, looking at the lava below. Suddenly, a gunshot sent by a soldier pierced the left wing of the animal.
Xavier froze. Raja's sword, now showing a red glow, slashed Michael's stomach fatally, leaving a trail of blood across the floor.
"MICHAEL!" Xavier exclaimed, falling in the massive hole. Pouring down Michael's body, the blood finally hit the floor. "You think a blow like that could bring me down?" Raja scoffed, looking at Michael. "B-But I hit you…"
Michael teleported. "Or you thought so." he whispered, touching him slightly on the soldier.
"Snap." At the speed of light, Raja crashed into a nearby building. "I didn't think the Crystal City government taught those types of techniques…" he thought to himself. "Maybe I did slightly underestimate the forces of Team ENTITY…" Standing up once again from the shambles of the building, Raja smiled. Looking at the metal that reflected on his sword, he applied a blue glow to his sword. "Years ago, I collected the soul of a pristine entity. Once you significantly weaken one of the four, their souls can be pulled out either by killing or taking it out of their body completely. I haven't destroyed anything in a while, but I can easily pair it with my SWORD!"
Xavier scoffed. "What the hell!?" Suddenly, his sword was covered with a half-red half-blue glow. "PRISTINE KNOCKOUT!" he exclaimed, pointing the sword to Michael and Trya. "You have to get out of here!" Trya exclaimed, coughing up even more blood. Michael scoffed. "We aren't leaving you, Trya. We have to say-" Suddenly, Xavier put his shoulder on Michael. "You can't stay here any longer, champ. You may be capable of defeating multiple entities, but a pristine entity is (for now) WAY out of your league." Michael scoffed. "DON'T TELEPORT ME, XAVIE-"
"Phantom Escortation." Michael was gone, but Raja's blow continued to rush to the siblings at full speed. Guarding Trya with all his strength, Xavier smiled. "I've saved Hana, and now I'll save YOU!" Trya scoffed. "Hana…? You saved HANA?" she asked. Xavier sighed. "Trya, are we really going to get in a fight right now? We're up against the king of Death De-"
Suddenly, Xavier looked behind him. "I forgot about the blow!" he thought to himself. Trya smiled. "This is a life-ending blow, Xavier. Either we die, or we survive because of our strength…" Xavier scoffed. "Trya, you're in terrible condition - you surviving is unlike-" Trya hugged Xavier. "Just take the odds, brother." Looking back at the opening terrain, an explosion was cast across the battlefield, leaving Trya and Xavier's status unknown. 1 mile away from the battlefield, however, sat the stomach-bleeding Michael, who waddled up to the outskirts of Embercliff like an injured penguin. "I'm too close to stop now… Trya wants me to…" Spitting out his sentence, he felt his eyelids getting gradually heavier by the second. "Win… the Great Dune Dash…"
Michael fainted due to his loss of blood. About 30 seconds later, however, an unknown entity looked at his corpse, worried about his well being. Looking at the bounty poster that came along with his picture, it bandaged him up, also giving him some of its blood. "You're gonna win this, just trust me…" it whispered before stuffing an unknown liquid in Michael's mouth. Then, the mysterious fairy disappeared. After its disappearance, Michael emerged from the sandy floor, looking at his bandages. "Did someone treat me while I was out…?" he thought to himself, looking at the lively city that sat before him.
This was the final phase of the Great Dune Dash - and there was 1 mile left before everything would be over. Smiling, Michael got back up one more time. "Let's do this." he thought to himself.
