Chapter 60: The Battle Begins! Hakim Faimasa vs. King Raja!
A blurry memory had resurfaced - and it wasn't pretty. Blood splattered all over the floor as the traumatized Xavier looked at his dead friend. The worst part? He was killed by his own brother, Ramari Black. This was the murder that would change the history of Aybara forever, showing a new dawn in their coming prime - which would finally be beginning. This was the Red Sand era of Aybara, spiking their popularity across the region.
This day had been 16 years ago.
Meanwhile back at the World Summit Venue, Princess Layla, accompanied by her main servant Notch and her other escorts led her to the door. "Who are you?" the receptionist asked, holding a small yet fragile clipboard in his hand. "Layla." she sputtered. "You can go in. To your right is where all the arrived attendees sit." Layla smiled. "Thank you, Yiu!" she exclaimed, attempting to look at the employee's name tag. As she looked at the last name, however, it had been an unpleasant surprise.
YIU RDUM - Receptionist of the World Summit
Yiu wheezed. "You really thought! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Suddenly, Layla teleported behind him, punching him all the way down to the village that had sat below the venue. Cleaning off her hands, she smiled. "Carrying on! Come on, guys!" she said, leading the startled guards into the venue. Now that three of the four World Summit attendees had arrived, one question lied ahead of the three leaders - where the hell was King Raja?
Meanwhile deeper into the Winding Forest, an exhausted King Raja continued his trek along with his escorts. "We're almost there!" one of the guards said, flipping his blue, thick glasses. King Raja smiled. "Is that so?" he asked the guard in a playful tone. As Raja continued to walk, he was unable to shake something that was on his mind off. "Does our region really need new soldiers…? Are we too weak to keep up with the big shots now…?" Raja smiled. "If we caught Hakim all of those years back, that means one of the co-founders of Aybara are completely dead. Now, we just have Ikama, and everything will fall apart! After that, we can finally look into the history of Death Desert, unveiling the history of the previous ki-"
"KING RAJA! WATCH OUT!" a guard screamed. "SOMEONE IS COMING FROM OVERHEAD!" Reeking of anticipation, the delighted Raja pulled out his sword, ready to take on the mysterious man that had attacked him. Jumping out of the dark trees, the man finally showed himself, jumping out at the unsuspecting Raja. As the king scanned the face to attempt and recognize who the man was, he froze in fear.
"T-That's HAKIM FAIMASA!" he exclaimed to the guards. "I THOUGHT HE WAS DEAD, BUT IT SEEMS I WAS WRONG!" As Raja's sword parted ways with Hakim's iron foot, dragging back into the dirt, Hakim let out a grin. "Your country has been weak over the past 5 years. We've heard every conversation. Every quote unquote execution you guys have performed. Everything that has happened in the past few years, we know now. Your guards are being held hostage by hundreds of men that were formerly on Death Row, too." Raja suspended his movement. "Y-you have the Death Desert Government hostage back in the region!?" Hakim laughed hysterically, eyeing his king with a glance of disrespect. "Of course we do. Now, Aybara has gathered multiple soldiers that are ready to attack you at any second!" As Raja looked around the rustling trees of the forest, he continued to see red glows of eyes that continued far into the day. "You bastard! First, you violate my troops and my land! Now, you-"
Hakim laughs. "Take a little listen to this, then."
"DOWN WITH THE KING! WE'LL FIND HIM, AND WE'LL KILL HIM NO MATTER WHAT!" a man shouted on the recorder Hakim was replaying a protest on. "T-they hate me now?" Raja said, generating tears from his eyes. Suddenly, Hakim teleported behind the sober Raja with the intent to kill. "Since your land has no sympathy towards you anymore, IT SEEMS LIKE I HAVE TO KILL YOU!" Raja smiled. "You know how smart I am," he said before disappearing into the sun. As the real Raja charged out of his hiding spot wielding his sword, he held it up to the sky. "I will show my nation I am a worthy king!" he exclaimed, beginning another clash with Hakim. As the forest proceeded to crumble due to the impact, all of Raja's escorts were either blown across the forest along with the trees and terrain, or they had already retreated. "I'll kill you, Hakim Faimasa!" Raja exclaimed, charging at one of the most wanted criminals Death Desert had to offer.
The question was solved - Raja was occupied in battle with Hakim Faimasa.
Meanwhile back in the land of Trka, a worried Samantha opened the door to room 920 in the Trka hospital, also the room where Kevin was currently sleeping. As Gerald and Xavier followed her into the room, they smiled in solace. "Happy to see that Kevin's doing okay." Gerald said. "After he heals up, we can get to the summit for daybreak!" Samantha smiled. "I have just the thing for Kevin!" As Samantha retrieved a chicken bone out of the hospital kitchen, she proceeded to hover it over Kevin's head. In the blink of an eye, the chicken on the bone was gone. "That's a world record!" Gerald exclaimed. "Kevin eats faster than before!" Xavier, awkwardly scratching his head, smiled back at the two." When we first met, he ate pretty well too! Happy to see he's doing well, though."
Chapter 29
Back with Kevin, Xavier looked at the boy awkwardly as he continued to engulf every food particle that came his way. It was an entire cooked chicken, but 10 minutes later, it was just a bone. A SINGLE FUCKING BONE.
Present
Suddenly, Kevin opened his eyes. "Where am I?" he asked Samantha, who was right beside the hospital bed he lied in. "You're in the hospital of Trka. Ever since you fell asleep, we've been gathering more clues about this land. As we're heading off to the summit, we'll be sure to tell you everything! Gerald covered his eyes. "Samantha, he's just going to get excited again like he did during his treatment after we got back from Diamond City!" Samantha frowned. "Gerald, we have to tell Kevin about this! If we don't, it could draw fate for…" Suddenly, Kevin dozed off once again. "I… wonder… what… is…"
Meanwhile back on the mountains of Umue, both Yuba and Yara proceeded to walk up the cliff of the giant mountain, almost being swallowed by the massive blizzard that pelted their faces. Finally arriving at the cliff, they saw Hana on the edge, crossing her arms across her waist. "You guys have finally arrived!" she said, chuckling. "Yes, ma'am!" both of them said, saluting to their new boss. Hana, delighted by the new respect the Kawasaki Clan had for them, pulled up her light-blue hair. "I know he's going to be here sooner than you think. While we're at it, let's sneak into the World Summit, sabotage the Black Clan, and get my family back on my side!" Yara smiles. "We're willing to sneak in early, if you want. 18 hours remain until the summit begins!" Hana smiled. "No thank you. We'll do this together, and we're the ones who will have the last laugh! 5 years ago I begun making this plan after that mysterious man of the phantoms saved me from arrest! This is war with a terrorist organization, so I only have two words for you."
"What are they?" Yuba asked.
"Tue-le." Hana said.
