Chapter 75: The World Summit Begins! The Nahata Pact Discussion!
Kevin, walking up to the giant venue with his Kaelan, Rian, and Xavier, smiled. "We finally made it 1 minute in time for the summit. Now, we have to find Gerald and Sama-"
"KEVIN!" someone screamed in the distance. Suddenly, Samantha and Gerald came rushing over in excitement. "WE FOUND ALEX! HE'S HERE ON THE MOUNTAINS OF UMUE!" Kevin gasped. "REALLY? IS HE GOING TO JOIN TEAM ENTITY TOO?" Gerald sighed. "That's the thing… Alex doesn't know yet. He asked if he could join the fights with an alliance, though. We told him since you're the captain and administrator of Team ENTITY, we can't decide if we join his alliance or n-"
"Fuck yeah we're going to." Kevin exclaimed, his enthusiasm cutting through the air. Xavier, Kaelan, and Rian scoffed. "HE DIDN'T EVEN KNOW WHAT THE ALLIANCE WAS ABOU-"
"Welcome to the World Summit!" a representative said inside the venue, broadcasting across Nahata. "We have… 1 million viewers right off the bat! Woah!" he exclaimed in amazement. "I have to call my mo-" "SHUT UP AND GET ON WITH IT!" Layla exclaimed, snapping the man back into shape. "Today, we have the 4 most popular leaders here. Firstly, known for mastering the technique of wind to enter a tied battle with Aqualia, The Water Princess, Jayden of Crystal City! Secondly, known for her land of annual dreams, Princess Layla of Dreamalia!" Raja whispered to Jayden. "Still don't know why she's queen yet." The announcer continued. "Third holds the place of the most recent president and the man who was the savior of Princess Layla's land a mere decade ago, also known as Forrest Cooper of Diamond City! And finally, the current president of this land, still unaware about his dad's sudden departure from the throne, sits King Raja of Death Desert! Say, we had 1 million a few minutes ago, now 5.6 million?" Layla, clenching her fists in anger, kept attempting to restrain herself from beating the ass of the announcer. "Let ME AT HIM!" Layla exclaimed, struggling to get to him through the arms of Jayden and Hakim, who were getting on her last nerve. As the announcer finally finished his speech, the spotlight turned to the four presidents, who were now being broadcasted worldwide. Jayden sighed. "So, who's starting the conversation off first?" Forrest interrupted. "I think we should discuss the Nahata Pact we were talking about off camera!" Layla sighed, staring at the camera in nervousness. "The Nahata Pact is a pact recommended by the overseas Land of Trila that requests us to split our lands into bigger regions. Instead of cities, we will have regions like the Diamond Region, the Crystal Region, Death Desert, which is already a region, and Dreamalia, which already has a flowing system of kings, queens, and our Princess Layla. It will also enhance our government by letting us all share or merge our brave soldiers anyway us 4 want. Please, consider raising your hand if you agree with this change.``
Everyone raised their hand.
Back with Michael, who was watching the World Summit on TV, yawned loudly. "I thought the World Summit would have action, not some random changes to the laws! Can we change the channel, Trya?" Trya laughed nervously. "Sadly, the World Summit is so important that it's on every channel. You may see your friends soon, though!" she said, improving Michael's feelings on the summit. "I guess you're right…" he said, looking at the TV. Meanwhile outside the venue, Kevin, Kaelan, Gerald, Samantha, and Xavier continued to spectate in real time through the small windows of the venue. Suddenly, Xavier felt a disturbing sense approaching the mountain at full speed. "I'm going to go lower into the mountains. I feel a weird sense lingering around us…" he thought to himself, zooming across Umue. Kevin sighed. "I'M GONNA FIGHT THE STRONGEST GUY I SEE, AND I'LL KILL HIM!" he exclaimed, his excitement echoing across the land. "Aybara should be expected here any second now…" Samantha said, boredom invading her face. Gerald sighed. "We may have intercepted the radio, but we also destroyed one of their ways of transportation up here. In other words, it'll be a while before we fight." Kevin groaned, sharing the boredom of suffering with his dear friends. "Are they talking about anything important yet?" Samantha sighed. "They're talking about our country and how we can enhance secu-"
Jayden laughed. "Sorry for causing a ruckus in your region, Raja. I still don't understand or know where Team ENTITY is right now…" he sputtered nervously, looking at the 5 filled hearts on his hand. "They're all alive, but I wish my power could track them…" Kevin chuckled. "Jayden doesn't know where we are! We're right outside!" Gerald sighed. "Kevin, he's worried sick about us." Kaelan gasped. "RIAN, THE GREAT DUNE DASH STARTS TOMORROW!" Rian, eating the last batch of Sunfire Stew, froze as he heard Kaelan's speech. "We've been away from Death Desert for a day…?" he sulked. Samantha patted the innocent kid as she continued to listen in to the events that were happening before her eyes. "Michael may be watching this, but I hope he knows we're alive and kicking…" Meanwhile back with Hana, the fire continued to crackle as the rice and potatoes being cooked by the unknown man finally finished. "Would you care for dinner?" he asked sweetly, handing her a plate. Hana blushed. "No thank you, but thanks for offering me some!" The World Summit was now ongoing with a record breaking 30 million viewers. Despite the multiple watchers around the globe, all except Michael were unaware what was brewing in the dark shadows. Would this seal the fate for all the world leaders, or would everyone make it out alive once again?"
