Chapter 79: The Battle Begins! Kevin vs. Ikama Black!
As the Sunstone Trio continued to rush further into the snowy forests of Umue, they sensed a mysterious presence lurking in the shadows of Hauna. Unaware of its desire, they continued deeper into the forest, determined to find "someone" Zara was desperately searching for throughout the mountains. "I KNOW SHE'S HERE!" Zara exclaimed, guiding her best friends deeper in along with her. Back at the venue sat Kevin and the amused Ikama Black, who continued to hold his electrified carving fork menacingly. "If you wanna prove your loyalty to our clan instead of just trying to battle us with your full force, just say it! You're going to lose anyway!" Smirking, Kevin charged once again at the powerful man, destined to get at least one hit on him. Despite the strength and power of his hits, however, continued to be countered by his powerful blocks. "Are you just gonna take defense the entire time!?" Kevin exclaimed, continuing with determination. Ikama laughed. "I thought you would never ask!" he exclaimed, swinging his foot across Kevin's face with his full force. "Shit! Why can't I predict his attacks!?" In the blink of an eye, Ikama was charging up to the young boy once again with the electrified fork, ready to stab him right in the stomach. Luckily, Kevin was able to use a rope of Exothiuium to block the attack and create a bulletproof vest for himself. "I can't start fighting just yet… I need the final charge!"
Finally, Kevin was able to land on the ground after being airborne due to the massive hit Ikama had executed on him. As blood dripped onto the ground from his right arm, he let out a smile that included a mix of determination and confidence. Staring at the middle aged man, he knew it was finally time - the battle would finally be a good one. "Since I can't predict your attacks without my final form, I think we can all say it would be easier on the both of us if I just unleashed this right NOW!" he exclaimed, holding his finger to his mouth. Ikama laughed. "Wannabe idiots like you are always acting like you have a final form!" he exclaimed, running into the thick layer of smoke Kevin had produced. As a result, he came out of the smoke getting knocked across the mountains as the Exothium continued to spin him around for what seemed like forever. Now, it was finally visible.
Kevin had turned into his Stormwrath form. "STORMWRATH CHARGE 2!" he exclaimed, using his new element to create missiles for Ikama. As the two continued to face each other in a stare-off, Kevin broke the silence by launching three of the missiles he used with his second charge. "Storm MISSILES!" he exclaimed, using them as ropes to catch up with Ikama. Running across the battlefield while trying to come up with a plan simultaneously, Ikama finally came up with the right thing. "Since I can't touch this unknown element he's using on me, I just gotta get to the parent body!" he thought in his head, rushing towards Kevin. As the chase continued between the Exothium missiles and the speedy Ikama, it had seemed like Ikama was outrunning the missiles for an impressive amount of time, making Kevin's attack look like it was strong but not enough. "FASTER!" he exclaimed, trying his best not to consume more energy and go into charge 3 or 4 on accident. "If I do that, it'll be a waste of energy!" he thought to himself. As Ikama rushed through the mountains along with the Exothium hands, a massive explosion occurred by Kevin's main body, forcing him to create a shield and have the missiles pursue his opponent. "This kid may have good plans, but he'll never catch up to m-"
"Fire!" Kevin exclaimed, smiling as the blood from his finger poured down his chin.
Ikama was left braindead. "What the hell does this kid mea-"
BOOM! In an attempt to console his speed, Ikama used his carving fork to level himself along with the ground. "Those missiles can fire? Kid, your bounty may live up to your strength!" he said, panting in distress. The two parties, both standing on opposite sides of the mountain, charged at each other once again. "I'LL KILL YOU!" Ikama exclaimed, continuing his onslaught even more. Kevin kept his smile. "I'd like to see you TRY!"
As the TV continued to record the massive battles happening higher on the Umue Mountains, Hana continued to sit down on what she thought would be her deathbed, with her mug of coffee still sitting on the ground, vacant. "I need to go." she kept thinking to herself in her mind, rocking back and forth. Suddenly, she couldn't keep it in her head anymore. "I NEED TO GO!" she exclaimed, running to the blue, wooden door that bordered the mysterious room and the mountains. But to her surprise, it was completely locked. "You're not going anywhere until you get better." the man whispered to her, sitting her back down respectfully. Sighing, Hana continued to overthink all of the hellish events unfolding just on top of them. "I NEED TO GO. IF AYBARA IS UP THERE, I CAN STILL SAVE MY FAMILY!"
The man scoffed. "Fine, I'll let you go. But if you break all of your bones again, don't expect me to save you." Hana nodded in agreement, rushing out the door and back to the action.
