Chapter 97: Battle For Third Place! Trya’s Struggle!
Meanwhile in third place sat a determined criminal that went by the name of Cuka. This man, holding a bounty of 2 million solid, was known for being one of the deadliest criminals that roamed around different villages, using the blood from his victims in a blender to make smoothies. In other words, he was just another version of Yupi Black, but even crazier and weirder. Walking around the desert in his black hoodie, he couldn't help but notice the massive strength that roamed toward him. "Are there multiple people coming at me…?" he thought to himself, looking back frequently just to make sure. Licking his knife full of the blood that belonged to the other racers, he had finally arrived at the massive city that marked the halfway point in the race. "I see… I've made it to Yaha City in Aridronia…" he thought to himself. Drinking his last droplet of water, he looked behind himself with a sense of urgency, meeting a blade that almost impaled his face immediately after. "You're not going anywhere!" Hai exclaimed, signaling the rest of the alliance to catch up. Revealing themselves from the gloomy shadows, Michael smiled. "Another goon I can battle? This day just gets better and be-" Trya put her hand over Michael's mouth. "Go on, Michael. I'll be sure to catch up with you sooner or later…" Michael froze. "Why can't I battle!? It's been a month since I was last able to publicly show off my strength, so let ME BA-" Tuka put his hand over Michael's shoulders. "You've done enough, champ. Let's get the hell out of h-" Suddenly, the entire ground emerged right in front of Michael, completely blocking his escape path. "I won't let you idiots escape! I'll also be taking your bounties AND your lives in the process!" Trya smiled. "Is that so?" Cuka continued to yap. "Of course it's true, woman! You're just a disappointment to the Velasquez clan! You can't do shit to m-"
Trya sighed. "Snake Parade." she muttered. Suddenly, the entire area around the battlefield turned into snakes, who all seemed to be under Trya's control. "I haven't destroyed anything in a while, but I think you would be good target practice!" Tuka smiled. "Ah, I forgot about your power, Trya Velasquez. Before your father's untimely death, he trained you to bloodshed with the mastery over snakes, leading to this very moment. Ever since then, your body became a snake, making you completely one of a kind - a beautiful woman on the outside, but a monster on the inside. Seems like your fun is coming to AN END!" he exclaimed, charging up to her with his knife of fire. Wrapping her arm (which was now transformed into a snake) around the leg of Cuka, Trya was able to fling him across the battlefield, landing into a nearby building that sat in the city. "I TOLD YOU GUYS TO LEAVE, GODDAMMIT!" Trya exclaimed, locking in on her enemy completely. Michael sighed. "Good luck, Trya." he said before continuing with the rest of the alliance. Emerging from the smoke, Cuka smiled once again. "You think that's enough to beat me?" Trya smiled beautifully. "Yes, I think I can manage to beat you. Everything except you calling me weak was right - ever since I was a child, I was trained to the brim by my father, Valentino Velasquez! HE MADE HISTORY AS THE MOST WANTED CRIMINAL IN DEATH DESERT, AND IF YOU'RE PLANNING TO WIPE THE ENTIRE BLOODLINE, I'LL KILL YOU MYSELF!" Finishing her monologue, her snakes continued to wrap around her without any pressure. Inside her body, her heart continued to race along with the memories that she and Xavier had with their father. "I'll show you ALL my full potential… I'M NO LONGER THAT WEAK GIRL EVERYONE THOUGHT OF ME AS AFTER THE EXECUTION TOOK PLACE!"
The snakes left Trya's side. Now, her arms shared the same textures a snake would have, along with the rest of her body. Cuka scoffed. "Y-You're the legendary Snakella?" Trya laughed quietly. "Of course I was. What else DO YOU THINK I WAS BEING TRAINED FOR?" Before Cuka could even respond, Trya's snakes continued to pin him down fast and furiously, giving him hardly enough time to even move. "I guess we're doing this now…" he thought to himself. Pulling off the bandage that covered his left eye left Trya shocked. "What the hell…?" Cuka laughed. "When I was battling Raja not so long ago, I got this scar from his Sword of 1000 Curses. As a result, it gave me a new power to absorb, repel, and even predict attacks you send at me! With my sword, I'M UNSTOPPABLE!" Suddenly, the ground below Trya caved in, marking the start of a new battle. Blinded by the lightning that rained down across the battlefield, Trya let out a smile of confidence and fear. "You don't worry me one bit anymore, Cuka. I'll wrap you up with my snakes like there's no tomorrow!" Back in the city, Michael continued to eat to his best ability at a nearby hotel. "I'm SO HUNGRY!" he thought to himself. Every bite he took, he had still needed more due to his cravings over the past few days. Before Hai or Tuka could react to the ongoing situation, the stuffed Michael let out a giant burp, breaking the glass of the entire building and the other buildings surrounding it. Sitting in silence, Michael smiled once again. "This race is going GREAT! We have a massive lead, 30 people left, and we're in third, fourth, and fifth place!" Hai smiled. "This little brat won't be here much longer… I just have to hold my hatred in until we get somewhat close to the city of Embercliff…"
