'Nice...' thought Vahn, a faint smile developing across his face. Venelana wasn't expected to return from her trip for a few days, and he had asked her not to rush in giving keys to Rias, Sona, Akeno, Tsubaki, Koneko, Asia, and Xenovia. Not because he didn't want to see or spend time with them but because not even a day had passed since their return to Kuoh, and he wanted them to get back into their daily routines before giving them more to distract themselves.
With such thoughts in mind, Vahn shifted his gaze to the bath's entrance, located to the left of the giant mural, attracted by the soft pitter-patter of footsteps. "That's a shame..." muttered Robin, leaving a small hickey on Vahn's neck before sitting up and contending, "I was prepared to work for the right to climb the Tower, but 158,000,000 seems like an amount I wouldn't be able to repay..."
"It's actually a smaller number than it seems," countered Vahn, explaining, "By the time Ascendees reach the 10th Floor and attain D-Rank, the value of the average monster will exceed 30,000 TP. It would still require 5,300 monsters to accumulate 158,000,000, but with four months in a cycle, you would only need to defeat 44 monsters per day to reach it."
"Yeah, but how long would reaching the 10th Floor take...?" asked Nami, crossing her arms and exhaling from her nose as she pointed out, "You mentioned that the average person would need to defeat a minimum of 10,000 monsters to rise from F to E-Rank.
