Eternal winter: the rise of the imprisoned celestial dragon (dungeon)

Chapter 3: the mori mori user and freedom

(quest complete-defeat magellan

Requirement: defeat magellan without any of your companions dying.

Bonus: defeat him within 5 minutes.

Reward: 1 custom devil fruit, poison resistance, 2 skill points

Bouns reward: 1 sukuna finger, 1 instant physical skill scroll, 1 golden apple of youth, 8 gates scroll)

I smirk at the screen and i immediately summoned the finger and immediately ate it ignoring the horrible taste but the rush of power helped me ignore the taste. But then i brought out the fruit and the physical scroll when i brought the devil fruit out i was given the information about what it was and it was the Ibara Ibara no Mi or thorn thorn fruit which is a paramecia fruit where i can manipulate thorns but what makes this fruit really deadly was that i can make thrones out of my blood which made me smirk cause thanks to my to my devil fruit my blood should be able negative 150 since magellan managed to cut my cheek and from the way my blood started coating the floor it dripped on in a layer of ice i should say im right.

I brought the devil fruit to the edge of kurotenma and sliced into it a bit but the second i cut into it a black and white aura and the devil fruit turned into a normal one. I then heard a faint whisper in the back of my head saying only one phrase. "Fall Kurotenma" i said and as soon as the words came out of my 2 kanji on both sides appeared one saying divine and he other saying for demonic i was then given information about how i can switch between demonic and and holy energy but i was also saw that i had a second release form that uses the thorn devil fruit that uses my blood along with me being able to imbue holy and demonic energy in the thorn's.

I lead them to the exit of the 4th floor but before we left crocodile broke daz bones out and we left the third floor and i killed the sphinx and when i fought with the basilisk i was given a option to make a extension technique for echos of madness which i accepted and with the foundation of life force absorption i got my technique called Soul Convergence.

(Soul Convergence is a powerful extension technique that enhances the capabilities of the cursed technique, Echoes of the Abyss. It involves the harnessing of souls of those who have succumbed to the cursed technique, merging them with the user's own spiritual essence. Upon death, the souls of the victims are drawn into the user's spiritual domain, becoming entwined with the user's essence. These absorbed souls imbue the user with greater power and control over the cursed technique, amplifying their ability to create and manipulate illusions. Each absorbed soul contributes to the potency of the illusions generated by Echoes of the Abyss, granting the user access to the memories, fears, and experiences of the absorbed souls. Through mastery of Soul Convergence, the user can temporarily merge with the absorbed souls, assuming their identities and powers, further enhancing their control over the cursed technique.)

I managed to kill everone in the 3rd level with just my cursed technique and i can the utter despair in their eyes as I summoned some of the most common fears but twisted and nightmarish like spiders, clowns, snakes…diddy. Stuff like that and while since this was impel down most wouldn't die from this but the twist to my curse technique was that it make you mine turn against you so when i make a illusion and peirce their heart the brain will make you heart was pierced and will cause your body to experience the pain and can even stop their heart. After clearing out the 2rd floor i made it to beast hell and what greeted me was the four jailer beast who i just sent 4 ice spikes while not giving them a second look but the bull beast just smashed my spikes which wasn't surprising since i put little power in them.

(new quest- kill the jailer beast

Bonus reward- location of 1 random mythical zoan(either the mythical or four ancient zoan), 1x 1000 xp card, 1 extension technique, 1 luck boost potion

)

I smirk at the quest and already knew what technique could finish them. I immediately rushed at the jailer beast which caused the koala to throw a punch with his brass knuckles but i dodged and covered my hand in a thick layer of dark ice then tried to imbue it with conqueror infusion but it was barely there but was still enough to break the koala's arm which made it scream in pain but it still aimed it's left hand at me but i decided to use one of my most power skills in my past life Offensive Xiaoil which kaiou emperor kaku used against yujiro hanma to deliver explosive power.

When our fist made contact the koala's arm was just a mess of flesh and just when i was about to finish the koala a axe hooked to a chain decapitated it. When i looked back i saw the hashira coming out of a room with their original weapon's and Gyomei had covered his axe with rocks making it heavier and enhanced it's destructive power.

"I figure you could use a helping hand my friend" gyomei said when he stood next to me and watched as the rest of the hashira dealt with the rest of the jailer beast with it kokushibo killing the rhino with one attack, giyu and muichiro using one attack each to first spit the bull in 4 pieces then mitsuri and tengen basically shredded the zebra in pieces with shinobu taking care of the guards that rushed in. somehow all of them was alive but just by a thread so i slap my hands together and said two words."Kamino open " i siad and as soon as the words come from my mouth flickers of pure black flames show through the caps in between my palms before i slowly pull them apart with a growing pillar of black fire between them then i moved my right and that was on top forward then pulled it back while moving my left hand forward and spreading my index in middle finger to shape the tip of the flames in the shape of a arrow tip while pulling my right hand back like i'm drawing a bow string.

" let this be a lesson to more wise in the next life" i said as i silently made a binding vow on shrine where while i can't add more cursed energy to dismantle to up it's power besides me using the handsigns, enchant words or the quality of my body and curse energy refinement increases but i can increase the power against unalive object or alive beings that have no conscious thought or will of their own. cleave i kept most of it the same besides allowing me to extend cleave a foot away from me but i had to use the seal for my domain expansion for shrine. Lastly for divine flames i also mostly kept it the same with it except for my shrine domain expansion i can't use it against multiple people except for like dismantles rule for unalive object or alive beings that have no conscious thought or will of their own can still be effected by the explosion of divine flame. I also kept the rule that anything unliving in my domain can't escape and is then imbued with the same fiery power of divine flame.

Lucky for me that the jailer beast had lost their will a long time ago so the rule applied so i finally release the fire arrow while i aimed it at the barley alive bull and once it made contact a grand explosion that rocked the whole of impel down. It took a couple minutes for the fire, smoke and dust died down and we all saw that barley ash was left.

I smirk at the screen then turned towards gyomei.

" I forgot to ask but where do you all live before coming here anyway" i asked gyomei and he quickly gave an answer ." well i used to live in the flower capital of wano but where i was raised as a monk but then the kaido appeared and along with orochi taking over wano and killing kazuki oden my Master found me after some of the beast pirates killed everyone at my temple but i fought back and killed them in return and my current master who invited me to live with him on a secluded island in the calm belt where his family have been for centuries and he also started a organization to hunt evil pirate's who are scum amongst even pirates and trade them in for money to support failing islands that arn't support by the world government or marines" gyomei said and my eyes widen at what he just told me since this world didn't have any demons pirates was the next best thing but this could be a opportunity.

"Hmmm i was wondering if you would like to move into a new world were you life can be more interesting and you can help more people without the world government being in the way" i said and gyomei looked like he was in thought then looked back at me." your proposal is tempting but if you don't mind i would like to see it for myself before bringing anything to my master" gyomei told me and i nodded i lead them out of the second floor and finally got to the first floor but once we got up the stairs a weird guy with a egyptian like theme stood in front of us and i immediately recognized him since he was the current user of the mori mori no mi the future fruit of greenbull Hannyabal

but i also knew him cause he came down to the 6th level and drains our vitality which keeps us in check and but it works less on me since my body could use a low level version of life steal whenever i eat.

"Well well well looks like some rowdy prisoners and you even killed everyone on the fourth floor and my jailer beast i don't suppose the world government won't mind killing the lot of you accept that brat ace since that's the marine job hell they'll even kills his little po-" Hannyabal was interrupted by a stream of fire heading straight for him but i can see his skin change a second before he was hit and involved in the flames. Ace then kept up the stream for a couple more seconds before releasing them but when the smoke cleared we was all shocked when he stood there with no shirt on and his pants burnt but still alive and mostly unharmed.

"Hahaha how do you like my trick! You see i ate the mori mori no mi which makes me a forest logia but that still makes me vulnerable to fire so i trained for 2 years to lessen that weakness hahahaha. Now it's ti" i interrupted him by freezing the corridor in a layer of ice which held him for a minute before Hannyabal broke free but i could see part of his body start to die which casued a smirk on my face so i turned to ace and whispered. " hey ace keep firing fire at him after my ice and if we it enough and frequently his fruit can't keep up and he will die" i told him and he nodded and immediately used his signature move and sent a fire fist which headed for Hannyabal but he made a wood shield in time which caused a explosion when the fire fist made contact which i followed up with a cold fire ball which froze the shield but Hannyabal broke it by making more wood under the ice but i could see he was in pain from the influx of temperature which destroys cells if used in quick succession.

Hannyabal sent multiple massive tree roots at us but giyu used flowing water dance to slice them up before they can reach us and kokushibo sending multiple moon slashes at him damaging more. then i remembered how i had more abilities and slap myself then sent a barge of slashes at Hannyabal who was pushed back with heavy wounds on his body then i dash at Hannyabal while dodging the massive wood spikes he sent at me but I just used dismantle barrage to destroy them.

However i didn't notice a wooden fist hiding within the spikes and was about a feet away from my face but i didn't want to be a pussy and use infinity but i didn't have to worry about that since kokushibo sent a barrage of moon slashes and destroyed the fist and i sent him a thumbs up which i got a nod in return.

My patience was starting to become narrow since i know i could of killed him easily but two reasons he's still alive is because i need to train my conqueror infusion and two is because i want his devil fruit since i can only eat one other devil fruit until i get my second tail but i wasn't fully decided on this fruit but i can at least copy it and decide to hold it and see what my kekkei genkai going to be. I cover kurotenma in my light conqueror coating along with a layer of a layer dark ice while hannyabal made a sword out of wood covered in armament coating. And i took this time to store my mask which released the full power of my six eyes and that help when i saw hannyabal stomp his feet many times faster then the normal eyes but to my eyes it was just as if he stomp his foot like a child really fast then ran faster then a normal human could but was not faster then my eyes and bodies could react. I swung kurotenma at at hannyabal who did the same and as soon as our blade connected a shockwave generated cracked the floor and surrounding walls but i also saw small cracks in hannyabals sword which i smirked at and he saw that smirk and made dozens of wooden spikes come from below me which i dodged and did a black flip."Frozen Blaze Surge" i sent a wave of cold fox-fire which hannyabal made a shield for but i sent a barrage of dismantles which destroyed the shield then sent a conqueror infused slash towards hannyabal which pushed him back and made him cough up blood. I took this chance to summon a sukuna finger and directly ate it and felt a rush of power and strength i then saw that my conqueror coating started becoming more profound instead of it's faint appearance before.

"Hmm looks like by continuous use of infusion and clashing with others i can improve it." i thought then raised kurotenma in front of me and pointed it at hannyabal." fall kurotenma" as soon as those words came out of my mouth a dark red kanji for hell appeared on the bottom of the blade on both sides and the blade turned black with red cracks started spreading from the kanji all the way to the tip of the blade.

I imbued fox lightning within the blade and i watch it mix with my conqueror haki, demonic energy, dark ice and the final product was the black blade with bright purple lightning crackling every couple of seconds. I then look back at hannyabal who wiped the blood from his mouth and got back up then looked at me with pure hatred. " you brat, you have no idea what forces your dealing with. You will be hunted down and enslaved like a dog when the world government finds out you let that foul bloodline escape and even those criminals out of impel down. I'll be right there when th-" i interrupt him by appearing in front of him using soru and aimed kurotenma at him but he then bent his body in a unnatural way then aimed a haki coated fits at my face but right it was a foot from my face i crossed my fingers a swirling aura appeared around me and once his fist met the aura deep wounds appeared on his fist which made him hesitate and tried to pull his fist back but i didn't let him and grabbed his wrist and froze him in a deep layer of dark ice which forze him solid. I cancel my new extension technique which i named cleave armor but anyway i walk back and admire my work. When i felt a hand on my shoulder i was ab out to activate cleave armor again but i stopped when i saw it was shinobu.

"Is he dead?" shinbuo asked and i took a closer look since to be honest even i didn't know but once i saw his eyes glare at me with pure hatred i turn back to her." yea he's alright but not for long. Gyomei would carry him." i ask gyomei and he nodded and grabbed hannyabal and carried him to the giant doors that lead to impel down which i used blue to crush the door into a giant metal ball." now that i think about it kid should be at Sabaody. Maybe I could copy his devil fruit and just be magneto…. Yea i'm going to do that but i should wait until like my 4 maybe even third tail i thought and just when i was about to leave impel down the break out quest popped into my mind and my eyes widen since i never specifically told anyone about the dungeon just hinted at it so i turn around and address my companions. "Now before I step out I would like to take this time to tell you about my offer I mentioned earlier. I can't tell u all the details but i can tell You will be going to another world while there you will be the strength of a normal person so the beginning will be tuff but trust me the adventure will be worth it since it will be a fresh start since no body knows you besids that ur an adventure. What an adventure is that person that does quest for people which can range from helping a restaurant to killing a major bandit group and in return you get experience to get stronger. Now i know it might sound boring but keep in mind your strength is equivalent to the average human male so experience and skill will get you farther then just brute strength. Any questions?" i asked and ace slowly raised his hand while i took a step out of impel down and the quest completed appears.

(new quest- break out of impel down

Requirment: break out of impel down without dying or losing limbs

Bonus:tell 5 people about the dungeon before setting foot out of impel down with at least three being from different faction's, get out of impel down within 2.30 hours

Grateful for breaking us out, I'm still skeptical unless you ha—" Ace began, but I cut him off, pulling out a golden apple along with a small crystal and a pure black Den Den Mushi adorned with five stars.

"The apple in my hand," I said, holding it up for them to see, "can add fifty years to someone's natural life. I'm pretty sure your pops would appreciate some extra time with his sons."

Ace and Jinbei's eyes widened like a pair of hyenas spotting prey. Their expressions screamed disbelief and temptation. I then turned toward the Hashira and tossed them a crystal ball and an Eternal Log Pose, which Mitsuri caught, examining them curiously.

"What is this?" Mitsuri asked, breaking my focus. I'd been... distracted, stealing a glance at her. Her curves and thighs—damn, they were distracting. Shaking off my momentary lapse, I cleared my throat.

"That," I began, pointing at the crystal, "is a teleportation crystal. It'll take you anywhere you can remember clearly. The Eternal Log Pose, on the other hand, will activate when the place I promised you becomes available. It'll glow and point you toward the location where you'll get your second chance."

I turned back to Ace and Jinbei, ready to pass them a second crystal when a thought crossed my mind.

If I remember correctly, Whitebeard didn't start his journey until a few days before the execution. That means he's probably in the New World right now, heading toward Fish-Man Island.

I picked up the black Den Den Mushi, speaking Whitebeard's name aloud. One of the five stars dimmed, leaving four, and the snail began to ring. I ignored the shocked, almost horrified faces of everyone around me. If I'd been paying attention, I might have understood their reaction—I was calling one of the strongest men in the world.

After a few rings, someone picked up. "Hello? Who is this? And how did you get this number?" came a familiar voice. Marco, no doubt about it.

"Well, my name is Jinx," I began, keeping my tone casual. "To start, I'm the one who broke your beloved brother out of Impel Down. Well, we're still in Impel Down, but... it's pretty much destroyed at this point."

A cold silence followed. Then another voice cut in, deeper and far more authoritative, filled with a threatening edge.

"You'd better not be joking with the Whitebeard Pirates, brat. If I find out you're lying, I'll hunt you down and show you the wrath of Whitebeard!"

Even through the Den Den Mushi, the raw power in his voice sent a chill down my spine. Though his strength might have waned—maybe 50% of what it was in his prime—he was still Whitebeard. A man who practically destroyed Marineford while fighting three Logia-level Admirals, Sengoku, Garp, and 100,000 Marines, all while battling stage 99 cancer. I had nothing but respect for him, the same level of respect I held for Roger and Garp. Honestly, men like Whitebeard, Roger, Rayleigh, and Shanks would've been perfect as adventurers in another life.

"Now, Whitebeard," I began, keeping my voice steady despite the knot of fear in my chest, "I have great respect for you. I've heard countless stories—some from Garp, some even from Roger before his execution. But that's not why I'm calling."

The silence was deafening as I continued. "I wanted to ask if you're near Dressrosa. If not, maybe you could drop me off there. In exchange... I can make you young again."

The silence that followed wasn't just from the Den Den Mushi. Everyone around me froze, stunned into speechlessness.

Whitebeard's silence lingered for a moment, heavy and unyielding. It was almost suffocating, as if even through the Den Den Mushi, his presence demanded reverence. Then, finally, his deep, rumbling voice cut through.

"You can make me young again?" he said, the words slow and deliberate, each carrying a weight that pressed down on everyone listening.

"Yes," I replied, trying to keep my voice calm. "I'm not bluffing. I have the means to restore your youth and vitality—bring you back to your prime."

A low chuckle came from the other end of the line, growing louder until it became a full, hearty laugh. It was a laugh that carried equal parts skepticism and amusement. "You've got guts, brat. Not many would dare say such a thing to me. But tell me—why should I believe you? You're claiming to have done the impossible, and yet I've never heard of you."

I smirked, though he couldn't see it. "Well, I'm someone who prefers action over words, Whitebeard. But I figured calling you first would save me the trouble of having to hunt you down."

The Den Den Mushi went quiet again, and I could almost imagine the legendary pirate contemplating my words. Finally, he spoke, his tone measured but firm.

"Dressrosa, you say? We're not far from there. If what you're saying is true, then we'll meet. But know this, brat—if this is some kind of trick, I'll make you regret it for the rest of your short life."

"Fair enough," I replied, my smirk widening. "I'll be waiting."

I hung up the Den Den Mushi and turned to find everyone staring at me. Ace looked like he was stuck between laughing and shouting, while Jinbei just crossed his arms, his expression unreadable. The Hashira, meanwhile, exchanged confused glances, clearly unsure what had just transpired.

"You really just called Whitebeard like it was nothing," Ace finally said, shaking his head. "You've got some nerve, Jinx."

"I prefer to think of it as confidence," I said with a shrug. "Anyway, we don't have much time. Whitebeard's crew will be here soon, and when they show up, things are going to get... interesting."

I handed the second teleportation crystal to Ace and Jinbei. "Just in case things go sideways, this crystal can get you out of here. You both have people waiting for you—don't throw your lives away."

Jinbei nodded solemnly, taking the crystal without a word. Ace hesitated but eventually took it as well, though his gaze lingered on the golden apple in my hand.

"What about that apple?" he asked, his tone cautious. "You sure you want to use something like that as a bargaining chip?"

"It's not just a bargaining chip," I said, tossing the apple lightly in my hand. "It's proof. Proof that I'm serious, and that I have what it takes to back up my words. Besides, if I'm going to change the course of history, I might as well go all-in."

The tension in the air was thick, but I could feel the excitement bubbling beneath the surface. Things were finally starting to move, and the stakes were only going to get higher from here.

"Now," I said, turning back to the group, "let's get ready. We've got a legend to meet."

The Den Den Mushi went silent as I hung up, the echoes of Whitebeard's laughter still ringing in my ears. The weight of what I'd just done settled on the room. I turned, feeling the stares from everyone. Ace looked like he was trying to process the insanity of the situation, Jinbei was calm but cautious, and the Hashira were exchanging uncertain glances.

Finally, Mitsuri stepped forward, a small but genuine smile gracing her lips. "Thank you for saving us," she said, bowing slightly. Her words broke the tension as the other Hashira followed suit, bowing in unison.

I raised an eyebrow. "No need to be formal about it. You've got a second chance now—make the most of it."

Sanemi crossed his arms, his typical scowl in place. "Hmph, don't think we owe you anything. But still... thanks," he muttered, looking away.

Obanai nodded. "You've given us a chance to return home. We won't waste it."

Mitsuri held up the teleportation crystal I'd given them earlier. "So, we just focus on our home, and it'll take us there?"

I nodded. "That's right. It's keyed to your memories. Just make sure everyone's in close proximity when you activate it. It only works once."

The Hashira huddled together, each placing a hand on the crystal. As they focused, the crystal began to glow, enveloping them in a bright light.

"Good luck," I said as the light consumed them. When it faded, they were gone, leaving only a faint warmth in the air where they had stood.

With the Hashira gone, I pulled out another teleportation crystal from my pouch, intending to head to Dressrosa. But as my fingers brushed the smooth surface of the crystal, an idea struck me.

I've got another free call on this Den Den Mushi... why not use it?

Smirking, I placed the black Den Den Mushi in front of me and said, "Garp." One of the remaining four stars dimmed, and the snail began to ring.

It didn't take long for someone to pick up.

"Who the hell is this?" came Garp's familiar gruff voice.

I leaned back against the ruined wall of Impel Down, a grin spreading across my face. "Garp, old man! It's me, Jinx."

There was a brief pause, followed by a deep sigh. "What do you want, brat? And where the hell are you calling from?"

"Impel Down," I replied casually, watching as Ace and Jinbei's heads snapped toward me in alarm. "Or... what's left of it."

"What do you mean, 'what's left of it'?" Garp's tone turned serious.

I glanced at the devastation around me. "Oh, you know, it's just been... repurposed. Let's just say the dungeon claimed its first victim."

"What the hell are you talking about—" Garp started, but another voice interrupted him.

"Who is that, Garp?"

I froze. That voice. Sengoku.

And then another. "Garp, put it on speaker. This sounds important."

Zephyr.

Oh, crap.

What I didn't know was that Garp wasn't alone. Sitting with him were Sengoku, Zephyr, Vergo, Doll, Tsuru, and, to top it off, the three Admirals—Akainu, Aokiji, and Kizaru.

The Den Den Mushi shifted, and suddenly I was speaking to all of them. "Alright, brat," Sengoku's authoritative voice cut in. "You've got our attention. Explain yourself."

I scratched the back of my head, deciding to just roll with it. "Alright, listen up. What I'm about to tell you might sound crazy, but you're going to want to hear it."

I began explaining the dungeon. "It's a gateway to another world—a place where anyone can start fresh, no matter their past. It's filled with opportunities and dangers, a place that tests your limits and pushes you to grow stronger."

"And why," Sengoku interrupted, "would you think we'd be interested in such a thing?"

"Because," I said, my voice turning serious, "this is your chance to finally break free from the chains of the World Government. You know as well as I do that the Marines have been corrupted from the top down. You weren't meant to be their lapdogs. You were meant to be heroes—protectors of the people. The dungeon is your chance to become that. A fresh start in another world."

There was a long silence. I could feel the weight of their thoughts through the Den Den Mushi.

"And why," Zephyr asked quietly, "should we trust you?"

I reached into my pouch and pulled out a golden apple, holding it up for Ace and Jinbei to see. "Because I'm offering you this."

"What is that?" Tsuru's voice came through, calm and calculating.

"A golden apple," I said, twirling it in my hand. "It adds fifty years to someone's natural life. And as a favor to Garp, for keeping me alive for all twenty-six of my years, I'm offering one to him, Sengoku, and Zephyr. A gift of time—for everything they've done."

The Den Den Mushi went silent again, and I could practically feel the shock radiating through the line. Even Ace and Jinbei were staring at me like I'd grown a second head.

"But," I continued, "there's a catch."

"Of course there is," Akainu growled.

I ignored him. "The apples can only be claimed at the dungeon. It'll open in five days, max. And there's one condition: once you're there, all grudges are left behind. If you've got beef with someone, you keep it to yourself while in the guild that leads to the dungeon. I'll explain the rules in full once you're there."

"And if we refuse?" Sengoku asked.

"That's your choice," I said simply. "But you'll be turning down a second chance—for yourselves, for the Marines, and for the world."

There was a flurry of voices on the other end of the line, too muffled to make out clearly. It was clear that the group was divided.

"You're seriously considering this?" Akainu's voice cut through. "It's obviously a trap."

"Is it?" Aokiji countered, his tone calm. "What does he gain from lying?"

"Fifty years of extra life," Zephyr said quietly. "For us to regain our youth... it's tempting."

"Tempting, yes," Tsuru said, her voice sharp. "But at what cost?"

I waited patiently, letting them argue. Finally, Garp's voice came through, loud and firm.

"Enough!" he barked. The voices quieted. "Jinx, if you're lying to me, you'll regret it. But if you're telling the truth... I'll be there."

I grinned. "Good. I'll see you in five days, old man."

Before anyone else could speak, I hung up, pocketing the Den Den Mushi.

Turning back to Ace and Jinbei, I saw the stunned expressions on their faces.

"You really just did that," Ace said, shaking his head. "You invited the Marines to this dungeon of yours."

"Not just the Marines," I said with a smirk. "The best of the best."

Jinbei crossed his arms, frowning. "You're playing a dangerous game, Jinx. If this dungeon of yours isn't everything you claim it to be..."

"It is," I said firmly. "And once they see it, they'll understand."

With that, I pulled out the teleportation crystal again, this time focusing on Dressrosa. The crystal began to glow, and I felt the familiar pull of its magic.

"Time to get moving," I said, glancing at Ace and Jinbei. "Whitebeard's crew won't wait forever."

I looked at Ace and Jinbei, then pulled out the final teleportation crystal from my pouch. Holding it up, I handed it to Ace with a quiet, meaningful glance.

"Remember the Moby Dick," I said, my voice soft but filled with unspoken weight.

Ace looked at me curiously, but I didn't elaborate. I wasn't sure if it would work from past-life memories, but I wasn't about to explain everything out loud. Some things had to remain as they were.

Jinbei stepped up, placing a firm hand on Ace's shoulder. I did the same. The crystal in Ace's hand began to glow faintly. But just before we disappeared, something tugged at my instincts.

I let go of Ace's shoulder, stepping forward.

"I forgot something," I muttered to myself, eyes glinting with resolve.

With a quick motion, I reached down to where Hannyabal lay, defeated on the cold floor. I placed my palm gently over his chest. My fingers thrummed with the power of my Conqueror's Haki as I channeled it into the man's body, using my life-force manipulation to extract his Devil Fruit—the Mori Mori no Mi.

His body jerked involuntarily, but his spirit was no longer there to resist. In an instant, the fruit's power transferred into me, stored safely within my inventory. My hand then moved to Magellan, still unconscious from our battle. I placed it over his heart, repeating the process, and extracted the poison-based Doku Doku no Mi.

Ace and Jinbei both watched, their eyes wide with shock. I could feel their disbelief, but I didn't give them much time to question me.

"I've got other plans for these," I said casually, though I didn't elaborate further. "But for now, they're mine."

I didn't eat them. I still hadn't claimed a second fruit. That honor was reserved for something much more important to me. I'd set my sights on the Ito Ito no Mi—Donquixote Doflamingo's fruit—or perhaps, if luck favored me, the Jiki Jiki no Mi from Eustass Kid. Those were the fruits that truly interested me.

But I didn't need to explain that to Ace and Jinbei right now.

I returned to Ace's side, resting my hand once more on his shoulder. The final moments before the teleportation consumed us were hanging in the air like a thunderstorm, crackling with potential.

"Let's go," I said, the words quiet but commanding.

I raised my hand toward the sky, a bolt of lightning striking from my fingertips. It was a signal—something that would resonate deep in the heart of Impel Down. The lightning arced across the sky, flashing bright and fierce.

In the instant before the teleportation hit, multiple magenta lightning bolts rained down from the heavens, striking Impel Down with deadly precision. The massive strikes tore through the fortress, devastating the structure even further. The shockwaves reverberated across all levels of the prison, and chaos erupted.

The prisoners, long forgotten and bound by the chains of the World Government, found themselves freed by the destruction. The lightning obliterated the walls, liberating even the lowest depths of Impel Down. Screams filled the air as chaos erupted, but it didn't stop there.

At the peak of the storm, the lightning took one final, destructive toll. Hannyabal, whose body had been left discarded on the ground, was caught in the bolt. His form was consumed by the energy, his body reduced to ash. The Mori Mori no Mi—the fruit he once wielded—was returned to the Rebirth Cycle, ready to be claimed by its next owner.

And just like that, Impel Down was no more.

In the blink of an eye, we were gone, and the world around us seemed to shift. A pulse of energy rippled through the air, and we found ourselves high above the Moby Dick. The wind howled around us, the sea stretching endlessly beneath, waves crashing against the mighty ship.

I stared out at the expanse, the salty air biting at my skin. For a brief moment, everything seemed surreal. This wasn't where I'd thought we were going. I had never personally been to Dressrosa, and I hadn't known if the crystal would even work from past-life memories. But this... this was something else entirely.

As we hung in the air, Ace and Jinbei looked around, the shock in their expressions evident as they realized where we were. Before they could speak, I turned to Ace.

"...I hate you," I said, my tone cold and deadpan, the words carrying an unmistakable weight.

Ace's eyes widened. He froze for a second, confusion flickering across his face. The sudden shift in my demeanor caught him off guard. His mouth opened as if to respond, but I didn't give him the chance.

I shot him a glance, colder than the deepest winter.

"You're the reason I'm stuck in this mess. You, and your damn brotherhood," I continued, my words cutting through the air like a blade.

The tension hung between us for a moment longer before I turned my attention away, a flicker of emotion hidden beneath the coldness. I wasn't sure why I said it, but I felt like it needed to be said. I hadn't come here for old grudges, but sometimes... sometimes it helped to make things clear.

The moment passed quickly, though. There wasn't time for long speeches, not now.

With a quick motion, I raised my hand, preparing for the fall. The teleportation had dropped us high above the ship, and gravity began to take its toll.

Before we started plummeting, I looked at Ace one last time, my voice quieter. "You're lucky. You'll have your second chance. But don't forget—this world doesn't give out second chances easily."

With those words, we started falling toward the Moby Dick, the ship growing larger as we descended rapidly, the wind rushing past us like a storm. But I couldn't help but feel something was different now. The tension was in the air, thick and undeniable.

This wasn't just the beginning of something new for Ace. It was the beginning of something much bigger. And if Ace was going to get his second chance, he'd have to earn it, just like everyone else.
