Commentary on Chapter 39. Seven. Part 1. Arrival.
Enjoy your reading!
- Leila, thank you for teaching me Star Spirits magic," Eros smiled and extended his hand to the girl.
- 'Which is completely useless to you,' she replied with the same smile and shook the outstretched hand, 'Where do you plan to go?
- Seven.
- So far away, what attracted you there?
- I just want to see the world.
- If that's the case, then have a good journey.
- Uncle, will you come to visit again? - Lucy asked in a cheerful tone.
- I don't know, maybe in a couple of years.
- That's a long time!
Seeing the hurt face of the girl, Eros couldn't help but be moved and stroked her on the head.
- There's no other way, little girl.
- I'm not a baby! I'm Lucy!
- Yes, yes, baby.
- I'M LUCY! - exclaimed the girl indignantly, stomping her foot.
Leila, on the other hand, pressed her palm to her mouth, holding back her laughter so as not to embarrass her daughter even more.
- Leila, I want to tell you something, - his face became more serious, - I do not know what you want to do, using all twelve keys, although I have one guess, but I will keep it to myself and say only one thing, be careful, you are a good girl and I do not want you to leave your daughter without a mother.
- I know and I'm not going to do anything stupid.
- Good, now I can be calm, - Eros exhaled with relief, - And the second thing, - the titan's gaze was directed to the right, where a young guy with rather luxuriant dark hair in a simple uniform, no different from the usual workers was taking out a bucket of rubbish, - "A mad dog, it is better to kill at once, before it bites the owner".
Leila frowned at Eros' words.
- Zoldeo is one of my most trusted men.
- I only warned you, what you do is up to you," he smiled softly and took his hands away from Lucy's ears, "Okay, I'm off, Lucy, so that when I come back you will be the Star Spirit Caster! Got it?!
- Yes!" said the girl with mirth in her voice, "Good luck Uncle!
- Take care of yourself.
- Thank you! - He waved his hand and disappeared right before their eyes, leaving them both surprised.

It was still a shame to say goodbye to such good people, but business is business. The next place he is going to visit is Clover City, a border town connecting Fior to Seven and Bosco.
Eros is going to officially cross the border, so that he will have as little trouble with the authorities as possible, or he might be labelled a spy for crossing the border illegally. And then the real swings will start, and Eros doesn't need any problems now, he's going to Seven for peaceful purposes.
***
When he arrived in the city, he paid the fee of a thousand jewels and with a clear conscience and a stamp on a piece of paper in his hand, he crossed the border post and officially entered the land of the country of Seven.
There was almost nothing in Seven that could interest Eros, they were weaker than Fiore in terms of magic.
There are S-rank mages in this country, but they are twice as few as in Fiore and they are weaker, although there is one of the God-Elect, but it makes little difference.
That is why the titan only travelled to this country to visit the Library of Heaven in the capital of Seven, because there is a huge number of books there and it is mainly because of the rule: to enter it, you must give any book - this is what attracted the attention of Eros.
And, as described in the guidebook, the library is divided into three tiers:
The first is "mortal", where anyone can visit by giving away any useless book. There are no rare books in it, as well as books related to magic, that's why it is called "mortal", and mostly only ordinary people go there.
The second "spiritual", there are no simple books there, they are all related to magic, many powerful mages of Seven found enlightenment and moved to a new level of power.
The third, on which for the whole history of the country visited only thirty mages is called "divine" and about it almost nothing is known, but to get there, you must give a very valuable book, which will be evaluated by several elders and only after their consent, you can enter. But in the last ten years, no one has ever been able to get in.

It took Eros half a day to get to the capital, but it was on the other side of the country. The capital of Seven is called Protevus. It is built around a large black tower and is divided into three levels by walls.
In this country, strangely enough, the strongest mage is the King, but he is not the only one who rules it, but five other mages that are also among the ten strongest. That's why the capital is divided into three levels, because the higher the level and the closer it is to the tower, the stronger the people living there and the richer it is.
On the lowest level live ordinary people who do not possess magic or possess it, but it is at a very weak level. On the middle level mages are equal in strength to mages of B-C ranks, as well as rich nobles and merchants, on the third level live the strongest mages from A-rank and above. But even with such a system, there is no discrimination, because even ordinary people can safely come to the third level and for example to engage in trade or visit the tower, which is the Celestial Library. Although they will be treated with arrogance and disdain, but no one will not touch them. After all, the laws in the country are strict even for the strongest mages.

"Interesting country and if it is like this everywhere, it is strange that it is inferior in strength to Fior, after all, if the strongest live in comfort, then everyone else should also strive for strength..."- Eros thought in amazement as he moved towards the tower looking around the city, "Still, it's not bad here..."
After half an hour he reached a large dark tower in the shape of a spiral going so far away that it was almost impossible to see its top. It was made of dark stones, and for every ten metres there was one small window of half a metre on all four sides.
It was the first time Eros had experienced a real shock to see such a "miracle". Each brick had runes so clearly inscribed on it that they made even the titan doubt his own abilities. After all, they were at the highest level, and to repeat such a thing Eros would need many more years of knowledge of runes.
"This tower is definitely not the first hundred years old, because there are no such masters at this time to create such a thing..."- He approached the tower and began to touch the stone brick, running his finger over each rune on it - "Five types of runes on such a small object, what kind of monster created such a thing?! Of these five, I could only recognise two, the rest I just don't understand... And the stone itself, it's not ordinary either, if it can withstand as many as five..."
People leaving and entering the tower looked at Eros, who was touching the walls of the tower so selflessly, even the guards at the entrance were afraid to approach him, considering him a madman.
Eros stood at the wall for almost ten hours, making the guards and passers-by fully convinced of his poor mental state, and when he moved and a broad smile appeared on his lips, everyone shuddered. For a moment everyone thought that a real maniac was standing at the wall, and when he turned to the people and walked in their direction, everyone quickly began to scatter. The guards wanted to do the same, but they couldn't abandon their post, because then they could be dishonourably dismissed, and that was worse than death.
"What's going on?"- Eros looked at the scattering people and the trembling guards in front of him with confusion, "Am I that scary or..."- looking behind him, he saw no one and shifted his gaze back to her, "What's going on, who scared them so much?"- but again finding no one, the titan decided to call it a day, he just didn't have time to deal with it.
He walked past the shivering guards and scattering bystanders into the tower.
It wasn't until Eros entered the Celestial Library that everyone could breathe a sigh of relief.
- We must report this suspicious man to Lord Ralph," the first guard said with a tone of reverence in his voice.
- I agree," nodded the second guard with a serious face, "You stay here and I'll go and report.
But the first guard stopped him.
- I'll do it.
- Why do you bother? You stay here and I'll report.
- No, you want to take all the credit for yourself?! - exclaimed the first guard angrily.
- And you don't?!
- Hrrr! - Both of them glared at each other furiously until they were slapped in the face.
- Who dares to attack me, show yourself! - Throwing lightning from his eyes, the first guard exclaimed and turned round and froze.
Before them stood a man of about thirty, with short white hair and brown eyes, dressed in silver armour, decorated with many precious stones, and on his chest was a gold engraving in the form of two crossed swords.
- Mr Ralph?! - Both of them exclaimed in fright and immediately fell to their knees.
- What did you want to tell me?
