 "It appears that we've got a bonus scenario," Mr. Woo remarks, his hand in the chin.

 "C-rank monsters," he muttered. "And a pack of them too; this won't be easy."

 "We need to be careful; these ice hounds aren't pushovers." He turned to the group, his gaze intense, his brow slightly furrowed

Some students breathing rapidly, a furrowed eyebrow but fire burning in their eyes

"We can do this!" A student exclaimed her voice steady despite the situation

"Good, remember your training during all this time; not to mention, you've got a wonderful attribute." 

Mr. Woo glanced at Ji-hye, and an open-lipped smile appeared in his face.

In the distance, the air filled with the sounds of footsteps approaching every second and snarling.

The ice hounds come into view as their crystallized body glow at the dim light, the atmospheric pressure rising every second

"Stay together!" Mr. Woo's words cut the tense silence: "Don't let them surround us!"

I transformed into my beast form; my body grew larger; my furrowed eyes glowed with sharp claws. The hounds were taken aback for a moment because of my transformation and aggressively bared their fangs. It appears that we have acknowledged my beast form's true potential. Mr. Woo looked at me with wide eyes, but there was also another emotion behind his smile.

"Seong," he called out, "don't let them get close to the group!"

One of the hounds stepped forward and lunged, but I blocked its attack and returned it with double the damage. It was sent flying and thudded at the nearby tree, but it was not enough to kill it. It gave me a wide smile to apprise me that it showed respect toward me.

"Impressive!" it spoke. "Now the surrounding air has changed, and you're stronger than before. I never witnessed a human having adaptability as you be proud human, I Gil-ho acknowledge you as a treat." 

Mr. Woo and the students watched in surprise as the ice hound spoke. Its voice was cold and aloof, but there was a hint of admiration in its words

Mr. Woo, eyes widened 

"They can communicate." His voice in disbelief, unable to comprehend 

The hounds circling around me paused by Gil-ho's remark in disbelief

"You acknowledge him...as a treat." One of the hounds spoke in doubt

Gil-ho nods, his gaze fixed on me. "Yes. He's unlike any human I've encountered before. His adaptability is impressive."

The hounds exchange an uneasy glance; one of them spoke

"But humans are weak, fragile," it hissed "How one can be a treat to us?"

Gil-ho looked at the questioning hound with mild annoyance

"Yes, physically, that is, but they possess relentless adaptability that is unmatched, and this one..."

He gestured at me with a crystalline paw.

"This one is different. He has a strength I've yet to encounter in a human."

The others regarded me as a mixture of curiosity and apprehension; some, like Gil-ho, saw me as a potential treat, while others still clung to humans being weak.

The one who spoke earlier comes forward and shouts, "Even if he's 'different, he's still a human!"

"Yeah, don't underestimate just because he's human, but I think we can." Gil-ho remarked

It went flying and hit thud with a tree far away; the hounds eyes widened, brows furrowed in shock.

Furthermore, it didn't go down; it shook its head from dizziness and stood; its eyes color began to change into blood-red, clinching its jaw. Anon, he again charged in, without comprehending the position he was in. 

"Shadow Glade," I chanted the attack toward him, my voice cold, which gave shivers down the spine to barring no one.

"Hahah, it's not affecting me; as expected, you humans are nothing more th-" 

BURST

As he was about to finish his sentence he exploded, and the blood showered like a fountain. At a glance, my spell appeared that it did not damage, but in reality, that spell was so fast that the body couldn't feel the pain; it took effect after 5.6 sec, and that spell destroyed all his cells, and as a result, his body exploded. 

Mr. Woo unable to process what just happened, spoke up; his voice tightened

"What kind of spell is that?" He continued, "I've never seen a skill like that anywhere."

"It was dangerous and fast; where did you learn it?" Fear and curiosity linger in his voice

Gil-ho his usual aloof expression replaced with caution, added his own opinion

"You claimed that spell is called 'Shadow... Glade, right?" Gil-ho is turning his gaze toward me, his ice-white eyes studying me.

Yes, it's called 'Shadow Glade'. It's a spell I invented myself." My voice coldly pierced the atmosphere, a tone where pity didn't exist

Mr. Woo's eyes swelled, eyebrows furrowed upward, and he spoke up

"What do you mean, you 'invented 'the skill? " Mr. Woo asked in curiosity

"For the fools who didn't get what I mean to simply put, I can merge different types of skill into one, and I can also give desired property at will."

The revelation left Mr. Woo, all students, and even Gil-ho stunned. The level of power and adaptability I retained was becoming more and more ostensible.

"You can merge... spells!" Mr. Woo replicated his voice—hardly a whisper

"Now let's throw hands, shall we?" I uttered taunting the hounds; they trembled but refused to submit, and there was a bit of spark visible on their last leg. Gathering the courage, they dived into battle

Sehyung charged in, his expression a furrowed eyebrow, vigilant gaze, tight muscle.

"Devine Judge: Zenkaten" A holy sword materialized within the grasp of his arm length, the tip of the sword emitting a blue, intense flame.

The hounds slashed with their claws from the left, while other from the front lunged at him with a dragger, yet in response to the left, ducked and sliced his head off; as for the front one, he spun and side kicked him. That sent him flying, but Sehyung didn't stop there; he could get up to the flying one and stabbed at the heart. Turning his gaze toward me, he spoke,

"I knew I could trust you Thanks for the opportunity. I was just waiting for this moment because I know if anyone can pull a stunt like this, it's you, Seong." His voice filled with boldness

"Thank god! Sehyung left Gil-ho alive; otherwise, I would not be able to tame him."
