Fated to My Enemy

Chapter 12: Chapter 12 Her First Kiss

While calling upstairs, the front desk remembered she had forgotten to ask for her name and quickly asked, "Miss, what is your name?"

"Are you calling Yan Ye? Tell him, my name is Lian Xinying." After giving a nonchalant response, Lian Xinying ignored the receptionist whose eyes were about to pop out of her head.

In the end, the receptionist put down the phone.

And concluded that this woman must be out of her mind.

She quickly summoned the security staff.

"There's something wrong with this woman, get her out of here immediately," the receptionist said in a low voice, probably afraid of provoking Lian Xinying.

When Lian Xinying saw the targets of her instruction, two burly men, she immediately said, "Hey, if you won't pass on my message, that's fine. Can I just sit here and wait for him to get off work?"

The receptionist took another look at Lian Xinying's clothes: a well-known domestic brand dress for ladies, the bag and shoes were also pricey, if she were mentally disturbed, her attire wouldn't be so proper.

Besides, this woman, who still had a youthful air about her, had a set of delicate facial features.

...

The receptionist allowed Lian Xinying to wait in the lobby for Yan Ye to get off work, but...

"Don't keep staring at me," Lian Xinying said to a security guard standing next to her.

Who was specifically guarding her.

After scolding the security guard, Lian Xinying lowered her head and took out her mobile phone from her bag.

Opening her contacts list, she realized she had no one to confide in at the moment.

Even her best friend seemed to be gloating over her misfortune, and considering Yan Ye's despicable behavior, what did it matter anyway.

Yan Ye stepped out of the elevator and immediately saw the small woman curled up in the corner of the lobby.

His gaze was one of surprise and complexity.

He had always had a poor memory for women, but even if that small woman didn't show her face, he could recognize her.

His trim, strong legs moved swiftly toward her.

His assistant was shocked for a moment, then quickly asked, "Mr. Yan?"

"Wait for me in the parking lot," he said, his resolute face turning slightly to issue the instruction.

"Alright." The assistant, before leaving, turned to look at the woman who had just lifted her head.

And in that instant, was dazzled.

Lian Xinying had heard Yan Ye's voice, which is why she looked up alertly.

He wore a well-fitted black shirt, the sleeves casually rolled up revealing his muscular arms.

The black buttons shimmered like cat's eyes.

She cleared her throat and, disregarding the daunting aura emanating from him, demanded, "Was it you who filled out my college application?"

Only he could have done it.

That's why she was so certain.

Yan Ye's chin lifted slightly, the corner of his mouth showing a defiant curve, "Why don't you ask, was it you who paid my tuition fees?"

Phew! Lian Xinying breathed a sigh of relief; that was him admitting to meddling with her application.

"I don't need you to pay my tuition fees! Cancel my application right now! I want to fill it out again!" Lian Xinying's deep blue eyes glared intensely at the mature man who towered over her.

He remained indifferent, "You'd better check with the bank to see if the money in your card can still be used. Girl, even the energy you have to lose your temper at me is given by me. The breakfast wasn't bad, right?"

After delivering his biting sarcasm, Yan Ye left with an air of nonchalance.

Lian Xinying was left speechless by his retort.
