Fated to My Enemy

Chapter 6: Chapter 6 I Was Wrong

Ten o'clock at night.

Lian Xinying climbed out of the swimming pool, humiliated.

After being kicked into the water, she wanted to leave this damned place immediately and never see that so-called bastard again. But a practical problem stood before her.

She was soaked through, without money, without a phone, in a secluded area, and had to walk a long distance before reaching the street.

It was also night, and as a girl, what if she encountered bad people?

Although he was a bit fierce, as long as she didn't provoke him, he would still give her a place to sleep and food to eat.

With that thought, Lian Xinying reluctantly slumped her head and walked to the villa's entrance.

The man sat on the living room sofa, a pot of tea steeping on the coffee table, its fragrance rich.

He wore a white home outfit, his hair slightly damp, and his handsome face was etched with an indescribable coldness and seriousness.

He wasn't drinking the tea because he held a cigarette between his fingertips, its smoke curling into the air.

"Your house isn't shabby at all." He had asked her to apologize to his house, so she began with difficulty.

"What I want is an apology. Didn't your teacher teach you what words and patterns to use to apologize?" The icy voice came from not far away.

You could hear the discontent in his voice.

The servant saw the two of them at a standoff, and since it was getting late, went to the door and advised Lian Xinying, "Girl, apologize to him properly; look, your clothes are all wet. A girl should take good care of her body."

Lian Xinying was more than just wet clothes; her hair and face were drenched too.

So it was hard to tell if she had been crying.

"...I'm sorry... I shouldn't have called your house shabby... Your house... it's very nice... wuwuwu..." After setting aside her pride and apologizing, she couldn't hold back and burst into tears.

Beyond the recent incident, what hurt more was her father's departure.

The servant watched her apologize and then glanced at Yan Ye's expression.

"Do you realize your mistake?" Yan Ye looked at her pitiful Xixi appearance, and his heart softened.

The servant helped Lian Xinying into the house, then closed the front door and tactfully withdrew.

"I was wrong..." Lian Xinying clenched her fists, her little face scrunched up as she cried.

Yan Ye, looking at her small fists, knew she was resentful inside.

She was lying.

But damn it! Even knowing she was lying, he still couldn't bear to call her out on it.

"Go take a shower now."

"Where do I shower? Where do I sleep? I don't want to sleep in your room." Even though she was a little girl in front of him, in her heart, she had already grown up.

...

After Lian Xinying went upstairs, Yan Ye followed her.

The matter of where to sleep tonight needed to be resolved.
