Chapter 13: Chapter 13 No Money
"Hold on, just wait a moment." Overstimulated, Sun Jack tried hard to look away, taking deep, ragged breaths,
"What's wrong? My dear, do you dislike me? What type do you like? I can be anything for you."
The catwoman pressed her supple body against him, lifting her thigh wrapped in neon stockings and rubbing it on Sun Jack's body.
"No, no, no, just wait a moment," Sun Jack quickly put out his hand to push her away. "My wound has just been stitched up; I can't do any strenuous activity. Next time, definitely next time."
Just then, Old Six's head, with an e-cigarette dangling from his mouth, emerged from a cluster of three women's pale flesh. "Bro, cut the crap. The healing center's D nanobots have already stitched you up, don't tell me you're into dudes?"
With that, he gave a push, and sent a nearly naked woman crashing into Tapai's arms.
"First time? No worries, big sis will teach you." The catwoman curled her tongue, and a blue pill rolled on it, heading straight for Sun Jack's mouth.
Suddenly, the room darkened. Sun Jack instantly tensed up as his black titanium combat prosthesis quickly grabbed the catwoman's wandering hand.
As Tapai positioned himself with a gun in front of Sun Jack, a light snapped on in the distance, illuminating a host on stage dressed in a purple sequined suit. "Bannyabo ne bassebo!"
"Speak Chinese! My bro doesn't understand!!" Following Old Six's generous tip with a little Longxia set, the host on stage immediately switched to Chinese.
"Ladies and gentlemen!! Welcome to Club 69 for your pleasure and enjoyment!!" His voice boomed loud and clear.
"Now, please enjoy a wonderful performance from the Bluenote F4! Big Bird~~" As he said this, he even energetically swung his arm around.
"Big Bird~~~ spin, spin, spin!!"
Accompanied by explosive music, six naked men with upturned butts closely clung to one another in a "state by state" alignment, and drove the train onto the stage.
Then these men hooked arms around each other's shoulders and swayed their bodies to the rhythm, and soon Big Bird indeed started spinning.
Seemingly to please, the performers also took care to fling themselves as much as possible in Sun Jack and Old Six's direction, striving to give the sugar daddies the best visual experience.
"Ah, my eyes, my eyes!!" Sun Jack, nearly blinded, ran out.
When the cold rain once again fell on Sun Jack's head, he leaned on the railing desperately catching his breath.
Although he was out, the mentally contaminating images refused to leave his head. "It's done; this brain is no longer needed."
"Why did you come out?" Old Six, clothes askew and covered in lipstick marks, came over. "Bro, Linda Linda is heartbroken; she thought she wasn't charming enough."
Sun Jack reached out his metal hand and irritably scratched his wet hair. "Right after entering the city, you bring me to a place like this, thanks a lot."
All this happened too fast and was too stimulating, not something he could handle after experiencing so many events.
And, no matter what, he just couldn't accept the idea of a woman who could glow down there.
At this moment, Sun Jack was truly tired, both physically and mentally. "The money, for getting you out, 30 @ Coins." Now, he needed to settle down in this city before considering other plans.
"No money," Old Six stated quite bluntly.
"What?!" Sun Jack spun around, extending his metal hand to grab Old Six's collar. "Say again you have no money?!"
"I really don't have any money, even if you kill me, I won't have any money," Old Six said with the indifference of a pig not fearing scalding water.
"Bullshit, you've been streaming for so long and you dare say you don't have money? You just ordered wine, and you still say you have no money!?"
"Yeah, but it's all gone, don't you remember how we got here?"
"But that doesn't cost a whole 30 @ Coins!!"
"And don't forget, your hand is mine, it's the Black Titanium Combat Prosthesis from Wol Technology. Do you know how much that would cost if you bought it? Can't that count towards the debt?"
"No, we signed a rescue agreement after your hand was stolen, so this hand can't count for later compensation," Tapai chimed in from the side.
It was then that a hover car spraying black paint slowly flew over their heads.
"Cool it, cool it. Don't bring the BCPD over here," Old Six said with a cheeky grin. "I'm not saying I won't pay, just that I don't have the money right now."
Seeing the other party's unshakable demeanor, Sun Jack knew that unless he tied him up and forced him, he probably couldn't squeeze anything out.
After all, the other party was right about one thing: the money previously spent to save the company had indeed been paid by him.
And this Old Six was more or less a friend by now, the only person he knew in this city, and he might need this local's help with something in the future.
"Forget it, you can pay me back whenever you have the money," Sun Jack conceded, knowing he would likely never see the money. But by saying this, he would have an excuse to seek help later on.
The moment Old Six heard it wouldn't cost him money, he was overjoyed and started hugging them both, continuously calling them 'bro, bro.'
Feeling the atmosphere was about right, Sun Jack gave a chuckle and quickly played along, "Since we are bros now, you've got to help out when a bro is in need, right?"
"I really have no money," Old Six's face drooped once more.
"I'm not asking for money. Us brothers just got to Metropolis and temporarily don't have a place to stay. It's not too much to ask to crash at your place for a few days, right?" Sun Jack slung an arm around Old Six.
Right now, the top priority was finding a place to stay so they wouldn't end up homeless on the streets.
After thinking it over, Old Six replied, "My place won't work, I've got a roommate. But I can find you guys a place to stay."
"Thanks, bro," Sun Jack said as he lightly punched his chest.
"Also, how about sorting out a neural system set for me? I'll owe you one for that. The last one got fried by that piece of junk Baldy had. I'll pay you back when I have money."
Sun Jack's words, of course, were a bluff—he had no neural system in his brain. But if he wanted to survive in this place, he needed it.
Walking through this world, Sun Jack had noticed that everyone seemed to have such a neural system in their brain.
If he didn't have it, it would be like trying to get by in modern society without a mobile phone—absolutely crippling.
Not to mention Old Six giving him a neural system; even if Old Six had given him 30 @ Coins, he had no network account to install it.
Old Six folded his arms, tapping his dark fingernails on his gold teeth as he thought for a moment, "Alright, but this is the last favor, okay? Don't always think about taking advantage of me."
"How could I be taking advantage of you? We are bros, after all. Aren't bros supposed to help each other?" Tapai joined in, slinging an arm around his shoulder, seeming to adapt faster than Sun Jack.
