Football: What Happened To Going To The Nightclub? I Have To Score

Chapter 278: Chapter 278 Peerless Mode Started! The Jedi Counterattack That Shocked The World!

At this moment, the world was clearly divided into two kinds of people.

Some were on cloud nine, faces flushed with excitement, veins popping as they reveled in the moment. These were the Real Madrid fans, along with some Spaniards, Bayern Munich supporters, and a handful of others who disliked Su Luo and Chelsea.

The other kind? They were in their personal hell, faces ashen, staring at the pitch in despair, unable to imagine any hope of a comeback. These were the Chelsea fans, Union Berlin supporters, and the many Chinese and other international viewers rooting for Su Luo and Chelsea.

At this point in the game, it was impossible to remain neutral.

It was the 2016-2017 UEFA Champions League final—full of surprises and drama. There had been incredible goals, controversial penalties, red cards, fierce confrontations, shocking comebacks, and now a 9 versus 11 situation.

For the next ten years, it would be hard to find a more intense and exciting Champions League final than this one.

The scoreboard showed Real Madrid leading Chelsea 3-1.

"Benzema's recent goal has widened Real Madrid's lead, and Chelsea is taking hit after hit," the commentator Zhan Jun announced.

"It's almost impossible for nine men to defend against Real Madrid's relentless offense. Chelsea can't even mount a counterattack at this point; they're just taking the blows."

Zhan Jun's voice softened. "If the game ends now, maybe they can save a little face."

He couldn't bring himself to look. With Chelsea's current situation, he knew they might concede even more goals in the final 10 minutes. A bigger defeat would be a disaster—4-1, 5-1, maybe even 6-1. Chelsea would become the laughingstock of Europe, and recovering from that would be tough.

"Su Luo is playing in his first Champions League final, and despite everything, he hasn't given up. He's still running hard, defending, and trying to create opportunities for his teammates."

At a mansion in Barcelona, Messi, Piqué, Busquets, Rakitic, and Iniesta watched in stunned silence.

Busquets sighed. "I feel bad for Chelsea. That referee has been a nightmare."

"The game is ruined," Messi added.

Busquets shook his head. "Real Madrid's going to win the title again. Do we stand a chance next season?"

Iniesta, who was leaving Barcelona next season, looked down. With the current state of the team, it would be hard to make it past the Champions League semi-finals.

Messi sighed. "If it had just been a one-goal difference, there might've been a chance. But now, I think Su Luo's out of options..."

In the stands of Cardiff's Millennium Stadium, Grealish and De Bruyne exchanged glances.

"It's over. There's no coming back from this," Grealish muttered.

"Seems like UEFA wanted this outcome. That referee's got to be on someone's payroll."

"Shh, be quiet!" De Bruyne quickly hushed him. "Don't let people hear you say that."

Grealish sank into his seat. "Let's rent a yacht and throw him a party to help him unwind."

De Bruyne shook his head. "If he loses like this, he's going to train even harder. There'll be no time for a vacation."

He stared at the field, still holding onto a faint glimmer of hope. "The game's not over yet. Anything can happen. Maybe Su Luo still has something up his sleeve."

In a VIP box, a group of women watched the match anxiously. Su Luo was on the ground again, battling hard in defense and trying to win back possession. His blue jersey was covered in grass stains—this technical player had been forced into the role of a workhorse.

The girls felt their hearts ache for him as he clashed with Casemiro during a header challenge.

"I can't watch this anymore," Taylor Swift whispered.

Josephine, who had been quiet, finally spoke. "Su Luo is a champion. He promised me, and he'll make good on that promise."

Her confidence stirred the others. There was still time left—maybe, just maybe, there was a chance.

Meanwhile, Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich, seated in the VIP area, politely congratulated Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez and King Felipe VI of Spain.

With a practiced smile, Abramovich said, "Congratulations on the match. It's been a fantastic game, but Chelsea's had some bad luck."

King Felipe was gracious in return, offering his condolences. "Chelsea played well. It's just a shame how the game unfolded."

Florentino, however, could hardly contain his glee and barely acknowledged Abramovich.

"It's not over yet. What if Chelsea wins?" a calm voice interjected.

Everyone turned in surprise. An unassuming silver-haired old lady sat gracefully in her seat, calmly watching the game.

"Your Majesty?" Prince Harry looked at his grandmother in disbelief.

Down 3-1 with two men sent off? How could there possibly be a comeback?

The others exchanged awkward smiles but humored her. "Yes, the game isn't over yet."

Everyone turned back to the field, but it seemed Real Madrid's fourth goal was imminent.

Su Luo felt like his lungs were on fire. Since gaining Nedved's stamina boost, he hadn't felt this exhausted in a match. But being two men down meant he had to cover more ground, filling in gaps in defense while also trying to create chances on the counterattack.

Even Iron Man would struggle with this workload.

Despite his best efforts, Real Madrid had just scored again. Benzema managed to slot one in after a messy scramble in the box. 3-1. Chelsea's hopes were dwindling.

But Su Luo wasn't done yet.

With only 3 minutes left until stoppage time, he had a plan. If the added time was 4 minutes, he could activate his last burst of energy around the 88th minute. He wanted to leave it late—just enough time to flip the game but not enough for Real Madrid to respond.

Modric had the ball now, biding his time as Real Madrid looked to run out the clock.

"Modric isn't in a rush, Real Madrid is ahead..."

"Wait, Ronaldo's made a run on the left! Modric's looking to pass..."

But just then, Su Luo surged in with a sudden tackle, intercepting the ball!

"Su Luo's got it! He's speeding down the pitch! He's left Toni Kroos behind!"

"Wow, that's fast! He's burning past Marcelo!"

Su Luo refused to give up. Even with Chelsea nearly beaten, he was still fighting to find a way to win.

He dribbled past Marcelo, cut into the penalty area, and sent Varane the wrong way with a feint.

He raised his foot to shoot!

"Su Luo!!!"

But Navas was too quick, blocking the shot.

Ramos cleared the ball out of play.

"Real Madrid's defense is under threat! Su Luo hasn't given up yet, he's still fighting with everything he has!"

Commentator He Wei's voice cracked with emotion as he watched.

In the final minutes of the game, Kanté, Marcos Alonso, and others were cramping from exhaustion. Even Su Luo was pushing his physical limits.

"What kind of willpower is keeping Su Luo going at this point?" one commentator questioned.

In the stands, Anya and Uncle Hans knew the answer.

"Hell yeah! Go, God Su!" Anya cheered.

"He's the pride of our Iron Alliance! A true Iron Warrior!" Hans added, his voice filled with emotion.

The fans from East Berlin even had tifo banners dedicated to Su Luo. His iconic red jersey had been temporarily painted blue for Chelsea, but the determined expression on his face and the hammer and sickle in his hand remained.

The two tifos of Su Luo, one on each side of Cardiff's Millennium Stadium, created a powerful and dramatic image.

Influenced by his performance, Chelsea fans, Berlin supporters, and Chinese fans in the stands began chanting Su Luo's name in unison.

"Su Luo!"

"Su Luo!"

"Come on, Chelsea!"

The cheers of tens of thousands of people surged through the stadium, reaching the players on the field and being broadcasted across the world.

Seeing this, Chelsea's players felt a renewed sense of strength. If Su Luo was still fighting, how could they let him carry the burden alone?

With Azpilicueta and David Luiz sent off, manager Conte brought on the 37-year-old captain, John Terry, to replace the cramping Willian.

Azpilicueta, Terry, and Rüdiger held the defensive line. In midfield, Su Luo, Kanté, Matić, and Marcos Alonso formed a barrier, with only Lukaku left up front as a focal point for attack.

Despite being down two players, Chelsea's depleted lineup stood united, defending wave after wave of Real Madrid's relentless offense.

"Ronaldo's trying to break through on the left!"

"Su Luo is defending him! It's the world's best going head-to-head!"

"Ronaldo's stepovers... but he can't get past Su Luo! Su Luo stretches out a leg and wins the ball!"

"Marcelo with the throw-in, it's Real Madrid on the attack again."

"Ronaldo shoots! Blocked by Azpilicueta!"

"Real Madrid continue to press forward. Benzema takes a shot!"

"Terry dives in! He throws himself in front of the ball and blocks it with his body!"

Despite controversies in his personal life, at this moment on the pitch, Terry was Chelsea's hero. He was putting his body on the line, fighting in a bloody battle for the team.

Ronaldo was frustrated.

Weren't they supposed to have the advantage with 11 against 9? Why did it feel even harder now?

Even with the 3-1 lead, he didn't feel secure. Not after last year's Champions League quarterfinal, when Real Madrid had led 4-1 only to be overturned by Su Luo. That memory still haunted him.

"Is Su Luo really not going to give up?" Ronaldo wondered as he watched Su Luo, still calm, still full of hope.

Little did Ronaldo know, Su Luo was waiting for the right moment.

After several tough confrontations, Su Luo's body suddenly felt renewed. His fatigue vanished.

The "Unparalleled Mode" was ready.

The time ticked to 87 minutes, and Su Luo knew it was almost time to strike. He had been waiting for this moment.

"Real Madrid continues to attack. Chelsea's players are exhausted from playing with two fewer men."

"They've run themselves into the ground."

"This might be it. Real Madrid could score here!"

Real Madrid pulled the play to the left, with Ronaldo and Kroos attracting most of Chelsea's defense. Modrić took advantage of the space on the right and sent the ball to an unmarked Bale.

Bale charged into the box unchallenged. He glanced at the positions of Benzema and Ronaldo, then decided to take the shot himself.

"Bale shoots!"

The ball curved beautifully with his left foot, bypassing the keeper...

But then came the sound.

Clang!

"It hit the post! The ball bounces out for a goal kick!"

"Chelsea survives! They've still got a glimmer of hope!"

The crowd exhaled in relief.

Real Madrid's players weren't discouraged. They felt the game was under control. It was 3-1. Could anything really go wrong?

At that moment, the clock hit 88 minutes. Su Luo glanced at the scoreboard, his focus sharpening.

It was time.

With a deep breath, he activated his special ability.

All at once, it was as if the energy of the world's greatest footballers flowed into him. Endless power surged through his body.

Su Luo had entered "Unparalleled Mode."

The comeback started now.

No one in the stadium or watching from home knew what was about to happen.

"Goal kick for Chelsea. Rüdiger passes it to Su Luo, who's dropped back into midfield."

Commentator Zhan Jun's voice trailed off. He sensed something unusual.

Su Luo's movement was different. His breakthrough was unstoppable.

"Su Luo shakes off Kroos! His head's down, and he's charging forward!"

"He's facing a double team from Modrić and Casemiro..."

But Su Luo kept going.

In the 88th minute, Su Luo exploded into action, moving through the Real Madrid defense as if they weren't even there.

"He's past them both!"

In an instant, Su Luo left Modrić and Casemiro in the dust with a dazzling dribble.

"Su Luo... He's now taking on Marcelo!"

With a quick burst, Su Luo cut past Marcelo, sprinted into the penalty box, and with a slick body feint, bypassed Varane.

"He's passed Varane! He's heading straight for goal!"

Su Luo was on fire, weaving through Real Madrid's defense as if they were statues.

"Ramos! Oh! He's left Ramos behind!"

The commentator could hardly keep up.

"He's passed SIX players! He's in the penalty area!"

Navas, the Real Madrid goalkeeper, rushed off his line to stop him, but Su Luo was ready.

As the keeper closed in, Su Luo went for a volley!

The stadium fell silent.

The football sailed through the air, past Navas, and into the back of the net.

Goal!

"Unparalleled Mode—100% shot accuracy!"

Time seemed to freeze as the ball nestled into the goal.

No one could believe their eyes.

Did Chelsea just pull one back? Did Su Luo just score?
