From Demon Slayer to the Multiverse: The Ultimate Exploiter

Chapter 4: Chapter 4: Demon Slayer, Exterminating Demons

Tong Gu felt as though his body had been torn apart and reconstructed. When he opened his eyes, he found himself in an entirely different world.

The first thing he saw was a three-meter-tall Buddha statue. He appeared to be inside a Buddhist temple's main hall. The wooden structure was adorned with weathered carvings, and Tong Gu let out a quiet sigh. This wasn't the "One Piece" world he had hoped for.

After searching the temple, he found nothing of value or anything that might indicate the nature of this world. There weren't even any monks present.

He pushed open the locked temple doors and saw the starry night sky outside. The moon hung large, and the visibility was decent. However, as he stepped forward, a nauseatingly strong stench hit his nose.

Blood.

Tong Gu immediately tensed up. The scent came from a side hall. Moving cautiously, he reached out to poke a hole in the paper window to see what was inside. But before he could, the window shattered with a loud crash, and a dark mass hurtled toward him, knocking him off balance.

Looking down, Tong Gu was horrified. It was a monk's corpse—or rather, half of one. The body had been torn apart at the waist, leaving its innards strewn across the ground. Some of the viscera had even splattered onto Tong Gu.

The urge to vomit surged within him, but he quickly realized which world he had ended up in.

"Happiness is always tainted by the scent of blood when it is destroyed. Even if my body perishes, I shall slay all evil demons! Thus begins the tale of Bloodstorm Blade and Sword: A Saga of Vengeance!"

[Trial Initiated: Current World - Demon Slayer ACT 1. Code A3504]

[Trial Mission 1: Survive for 3 months.]

[Trial Mission 2: Kill at least one demon.]

[Trial Begins! Good luck.]

The glowing text on his retina faded as the stench of blood continued to churn his stomach, leaving him unable to focus completely.

From the side hall, a dark figure emerged, covered in bits of flesh and entrails. The demon had disheveled greenish-blue hair, bloodshot narrow eyes, and the unmistakable claws and fangs of a man-eating demon. Tong Gu immediately recognized it as the first demon Tanjiro faced—other than Nezuko.

"A human scent… You survived? How amusing," the temple demon sneered, clearly enjoying Tong Gu's discomfort. Seeing the tall man before him struggle to suppress his nausea only made the demon's appetite grow stronger.

The demon approached unhurriedly, flinging a piece of flesh from its body onto Tong Gu. Seeing his expression worsen, the demon laughed gleefully.

"Scared? Sickened? Humans truly are such frail creatures..." The demon raised a clawed hand and struck without hesitation. He had no intention of killing Tong Gu immediately—he wanted to toy with him.

Despite his nausea, Tong Gu wasn't going to sit idly by. Years of mental preparation had steeled him. Still crouched, Tong Gu intercepted the demon's strike with a quick left hand, gripping its forearm tightly.

The demon was stunned by the sudden resistance. It struggled to break free but found that its strength, which could easily tear apart a monk, was useless against this man.

Tong Gu slowly stood, lifting the demon with one arm. At 1.9 meters tall, his muscular frame dwarfed the 1.6-meter demon, making it look like a child being scolded by an adult.

"What was that about humans being frail?"

For the first time, Tong Gu fully appreciated the strength he had honed over the years through genetic enhancements and martial arts. Even though this temple demon was one of the weakest in the Demon Slayer universe, Tong Gu finally realized just how monstrous his own power was.

"What… what are you?!" The demon's fear seeped into its voice as it clawed at Tong Gu's face.

Tong Gu's grip tightened, and with a violent shake, he snapped the demon's arm. The demon was thrown off balance, and Tong Gu used the momentum to slam it into the ground with bone-crushing force.

BOOM!

The impact echoed through the temple as blood sprayed from the demon's mouth and nose. Tong Gu loomed over it, his mind racing. He didn't have a Nichirin Sword to kill the demon. Could he pummel it until dawn like the Stone Hashira, Gyomei Himejima?

The demon glared at Tong Gu, hate burning in its eyes. It began gathering its strength to recover and strike back.

Tong Gu, unwilling to waste more time, stomped the demon's chest, sending it flying into the forest. Pursuing it, he found the demon trying to regenerate near a tree. Its expression was now tinged with fear, knowing its limits.

Tong Gu grabbed the demon by its greenish hair, raising his fist like a drawn bow.

Ancient Technique: Floodgate Punch.

Before the demon could react, Tong Gu's fist crashed into its face with a force like a bursting dam. The sheer power caused the demon to thrash violently, but it wasn't enough to end the fight.

Just then, a sharp voice pierced the air.

"Stop!"

An axe whirled through the air, embedding itself in a nearby tree. Tong Gu turned to see a young man with red hair and a large scar on his forehead—Tanjiro Kamado.

As Tong Gu hesitated, the demon seized the opportunity to escape, bolting toward Tanjiro with murderous intent. Tong Gu gave chase, his massive frame surprisingly swift.

Before the demon could strike, the bamboo basket on Tanjiro's back burst open. Nezuko leapt out, delivering a powerful kick that sent the demon hurtling back toward Tong Gu.

Seizing the moment, Tong Gu delivered a devastating punch, crushing the demon's head entirely.

As the demon's body lay twitching, Tanjiro approached cautiously.

"Who… who are you?" he stammered.

"Tong Gu," the bloodied man replied, towering over Tanjiro.

Tanjiro bowed politely. "I'm Tanjiro Kamado, and this is my sister, Nezuko. We're… humans, too."

Tong Gu smirked but kept his guard up. He turned back to the barely regenerating demon and slammed his foot down, ending its struggle for good.

"If you want to kill demons quickly," Tong Gu said, "you'll need more than kindness. Sometimes, brutal methods are the greatest mercy—both for the victims and yourself."

With that, Tong Gu looked to the horizon, knowing this was just the beginning of his trial.
