Chapter 26
Chapter 26
The moment the first trainee stepped outside, the sound of camera shutters began echoing from all directions.
This sound did not stop for a single moment until the event ended.
The trainees, walking on the poorly laid red carpet, tried to hide their nervousness, forcing smiles and bowing repeatedly towards the crowd.
Many were already holding up slogans and calling out the names of the trainees. The trainees whose names were called looked around in surprise.
Amidst the strong wind, the names heard were mostly those of trainees who had debuted once or had gained some public recognition from appearing on other programs.
‘Who thought it was a good idea to just put on a poorly insulated uniform in early March and stand outside?’
It was exceedingly cold.
I saw a trainee smiling brightly and sending finger hearts to the crowd.
I could barely take care of myself, but these trainees who hadn’t even debuted yet had remarkable professional spirits.
‘…Or maybe my body’s durability is just trash overall, and I’m the only one feeling cold?’
Thinking that I was sensitive to both cold and heat already felt dreadful.
I should quickly boost my stamina. There’s a reason they say that physical strength is national strength.
While I was lost in such trivial thoughts, the trainees who had gone ahead filled the topmost tier of the three-tiered podium.
I stood on the second tier to the left.
Kim Jun-woo, standing on my left, waved his hand, while Ban Yo-han, standing on my right, simply looked ahead with a faint smile.
Standing right next to Ban Yo-han, how unlucky.
If it were my original face, it wouldn’t be me who’s unlucky but the others.
After what felt like an eternity, all the trainees took their places and stood still.
The host, holding a microphone, checked that everyone was in their positions and gave a signal.
“Let’s greet. One, two!”
“Hello. We are Pick Heart Entertainment trainees! Please take care of us!”
The trainees greeted loudly enough to cut through all the noise and bowed deeply.
The reporters gathered in the front pressed their shutters furiously.
Shortly after, groups of about fifteen trainees, guided by the staff, started heading towards the fence.
Then they began handing out the paper bags they were holding.
People called out the names of the trainees they hoped would give them a gift, checking their name tags.
“Yoon-jae!”
“Jiiiing Xiao!”
Especially when trainees like Oh Hyun-jin, known for being from a large agency, or obviously handsome trainees like Jing Xiao and Na Yoon-jae approached, the fences shook as if they would fall, causing the staff to break into a cold sweat.
While trying to keep my consciousness slightly distant from the unfolding situation, only minding my expression to avoid any unnecessary personality controversies, I wrapped my arms around myself and shivered.
Next to me, Kim Jun-woo nudged me and pointed with his chin at the trainees on the same tier who were moving. It was time to move.
“Thanks. Ugh, it’s cold.”
“It’s not that cold today. Isn’t the sunlight warm?”
“Not really…”
Grumbling internally about how even in this game world, only summer and winter remained, and spring and autumn had disappeared, I descended from the tier.
At that moment, Seo Moon-gyeol, standing at the end of the bottom tier, tapped me.
Before I could ask what he wanted, he handed me a hot pack and said briefly.
“You don’t have to return it.”
Damn it… What a godly personality. If I were a girl, I’d be swooning.
How could he and Ban Yo-han be from the same agency yet have such drastically different personalities?
Moved, I thanked him, “Thank you.” Then Ban Yo-han, who was behind me, urged me in a quiet voice.
“On Raon, don’t block the way, hurry up.”
…You’re the last one, right? There’s no one behind you, right? I wasn’t blocking the way for eternity, but you couldn’t wait for a moment!
If there are any articles praising his personality, I swear I’ll leave a detailed rebuttal comment.
Anyway, we walked around the fence surrounding the tier, guided by the staff, greeting and handing out gifts.
Particularly, when Ban Yo-han approached, people exclaimed in mixed tones of admiration and surprise, uttering words like “crazy” and “who’s that guy”.
Ban Yo-han, who was holding only two gift bags, quickly found himself empty-handed.
I didn’t feel jealous of the attention he was receiving; rather, it was strangely refreshing and fascinating.
When did On Hae-ja ever lose in terms of looks?
It was as absurd as claiming the Earth was flat.
But that absurd thing was happening right now. Damn it.
‘Moments like this really drive home the fact that this is a game world.’
Suddenly, looking around, I felt our turn was almost over. There were hardly any trainees left holding gift bags.
Only Kim Jun-woo and I seemed to be the ones still holding gift bags, me with one left and him with two out of the six he initially had.
‘I’d rather give it to someone who hasn’t received anything.’
On a particularly cold day like this, having come all the way here, they should at least go home with something to stretch out their legs and sleep well at night.
Most of the people close to the fence already had one or two gift bags in their hands.
‘I can’t just throw it to the back.’
Feeling that the staff would soon instruct us to return to the original tier, I looked around more eagerly.
Then, I spotted someone among the crowd.
It was a woman who looked worn out and tired, like a rookie employee who had just taken half a day off from work.
I didn’t know for sure, but that was my impression.
‘Her hands are empty.’
At that moment, the staff announced it was time to move.
I quickly raised my hand with the gift bag high and tried to make eye contact with my target.
After a moment, the woman, who met my eyes, pointed at herself with a bewildered expression, as if asking if I meant her.
I nodded vigorously, keeping an eye on the staff who seemed impatient and about to drag me away.
Luckily, before the staff’s patience ran out and they pulled me away, I managed to hand over the gift.
“Thank you!”
“Me too!”

The fan meeting, which lasted only about twenty minutes compared to the preparation time, ended, and related articles started popping up on the internet.

On the afternoon of the 9th, a mini fan meeting for ‘Pick Your Heart 3’ by Music Box was held in front of Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul.

It was revealed that a trainee from the major agency TRUE Entertainment participated. TRUE, which debuted Seo Hye-bin as the runner-up in season 2, sent out Oh Hyun-jin this time. Other agencies like Bae Gi Music, Ri Pong Entertainment, and Choi Entertainment, which debuted multiple trainees in seasons 1 and 2, also sent out several trainees.

This season also features many trainees who have had prior debuts. Park Soo-hyun and Lee Seung-hyuk, who were active as Whistler, and Seo Chan-bin and Ha Seo-joon, who were active as Calling, (skip) Ma Tae-won from the music survival program ‘Project Alpha’ is also participating this season.
Additionally, aligning with the new goal of the ‘Global’ program, they recruited many foreign trainees. This includes current idols from Japan and trainees selected through auditions in China and North America.

Meanwhile, the ‘Pick Your Heart 3’ trainees will perform the title song ‘Heart Attack’ on ‘M Stage’ broadcast by Music Box at 6 PM today. The stage will spark interest in who will become the ending fairy of this season.

Shortly after the pre-recorded ‘Heart Attack’ stage was broadcast on ‘M Stage’, the same video was uploaded to Music Box’s YouTube channel.
The public’s reaction to the ‘Heart Attack’ stage itself wasn’t bad.
– The song is good, the quality seems decent.
– This time, they picked a good center? In seasons 1 and 2, the centers failed because of the trainees’ internal struggles lol.
┗ So true, especially season 1, still wondering why they were the center.
– (Photo) 2:37 Who’s the brown-haired deer-faced guy who flashed by faster than light? Looks like a B-grade center but didn’t get a single close-up shot lol.
┗ Seed Entertainment Ban Yo-han.
┗ Wow, his name is impressive. Yo-han, you’re my pick from today.
┗ Isn’t this the guy who scored full marks on the national exam last year or the year before? His interview and photo caused a brief uproar. A whole group of agency employees camped in front of S University.
┗ Damn… Not only is he good-looking, but his entire life is successful.
┗ Be cautious with such guys. If things seem a bit off, they quickly find another path.
┗ (Photo) He doesn’t have an unfortunate face.
┗ (Photo) Definitely not an unfortunate face 222.
– Selling the ending heart lip >Na Yoon-jae<. In my opinion, this season’s visual top.
┗ (Photo) You’re talking about visuals? Look left at Seo Moon-gyeol.
┗ (Photo) Look right at Ban Yo-han.
┗ (Photo) Turn around and see Jing Xiao.
– (Photo) 4:59 Why does this guy’s gaze look so forlorn? He slightly smiles and I feel like I’ve witnessed the final episode. Can someone tell me his name?
┗ Individual
trainee On Raon. Left True.
┗ Thanks.

[Pick Your Heart 3 Sangam Fan Meeting Review]
(Photo)
I’m here to talk about my visit to Sangam for the Heart Attack stage reveal during the day.
First, stating the fact: In this tiny country, there’s no way there are 200 good-looking boys (100+100) lol. Even season 1 was seriously lacking, but the debuted ones managed to save the program with their looks and skills.
So honestly, I went to see how much worse season 3 would be, but while I can’t comment on their skills, their looks were surprisingly okay? Maybe they selected good-looking foreign trainees for the ‘global’ theme this time? Oh, there were a few who seemed unaware that idols should be good-looking, but I believe in our collective intelligence to filter them out, haha.
Here’s a long post!
First, I’ll list the ones who left a strong impression with their stunning looks: Ok Do-yoon, Na Yoon-jae, Oh Hyun-jin, Ban Yo-han, Seo Moon-gyeol, and Jing Xiao. Especially Na Yoon-jae, Ban Yo-han, and Seo Moon-gyeol, they were just… insane…
Also, a trainee named On Raon gave me a gift. He’s fair and looks gentle, but not exactly my type (my type = hot body). But when I got home and watched the Heart Attack stage at 4:59, he looked so forlorn… Not that he’s ugly or anything, but he looks amazing on camera.
To elaborate, I was kind of squished in the front-middle due to the crowd. On Raon glanced at my face and then my hands, then kept trying to make eye contact with me. I think he saw I didn’t get a gift and felt bad. So cute, haha.
I wanted to avoid his gaze, but seeing him with his red frozen ears and blue lips… I just couldn’t. He looked so pitiful… 인정 (acknowledged).
(later)
– Teacher, for someone who didn’t leave an impression, you sure wrote a lot about him.
┗ Are you not understanding the situation right now?

– On Raon
[Hello!
I’m individual trainee On Raon!!
Thank you for coming to see us despite the cold!
I hope you vote for me, but I’m not confident about receiving a precious vote, beating out the other cool older brothers, younger brothers, and friends, haha…
Still, I’ll definitely show you a growing On Raon, so please remember me!]
(later)
– Why is Seo Chan-bin’s handwriting like that lol.
– Is it true my handwriting is worse than Sora, a Japanese?
┗ Adding someone who writes worse than Xiao, a Chinese.
– Why do Xiao and Ritsu’s words make my heart flutter so muchㅠㅠㅠ
– Please post Do-yoon’s letter too!!!
– On Raon’s name and handwriting are cute, but why is he so unconfident lol.
