Genshin Impact: I Can Obtain Adventure EXP

Chapter 358: Chapter 358: The Perfect Navigator

Mona's level had risen from 70 to 72. As expected, her study of the stars not only improved her astrological skills but also enhanced her overall power.

"So, this is the boat you purchased? Not bad," Mona commented, her soft legs accentuated by her asymmetrical tights with starry patterns. They outlined her graceful and elegant curves.

She stood calmly on the wooden floor of the cabin, arms crossed and golden high heels tapping softly.

"Yep, we're heading to Yashiori Island now. Can you divine the direction for us?" Nolan said with a smile. Pulling Mona into his lap, he guided her to sit down.

Feeling the softness of Mona's figure, Nolan couldn't resist tilting up the brim of her wide hat and planting a light kiss on her pale cheek.

"H-Hey! What are you doing?" Mona exclaimed, her face turning a rosy red.

Despite her protest, over the past few days, she had grown accustomed to being held by Nolan. With Lumine and Fischl sharing the same bed every night, Mona often found herself caught in these moments. If not for their intervention, she might have been unable to fend off Nolan's advances entirely.

Even so, her body seemed to remember his presence, no longer instinctively resisting his touch. Instead, she felt a subtle sense of comfort, as though she were returning home and settling into a soft sofa—albeit one that made her blush at how awkwardly it pressed against her.

Keeping her composure as best she could, Mona summoned her hydromantic disc. Her pupils trembled slightly as she gazed at the rotating water patterns, beginning her divination.

For some reason, nestled in Nolan's embrace, her skin always seemed to grow warm.

It must be because of him… heating me up!

[Mona Has Developed Good Feelings Towards You, Obtained 200 Affection Points. Current Affection Level: Lv.8 (250/800).]

Lumine, watching from behind, sighed and rubbed her forehead in exasperation. By now, she was used to this. Nolan had a habit of getting overly handsy whenever they were away from prying eyes.

Even Paimon, who used to blush and cover her face at such scenes, had started ignoring them altogether.

As the hydromantic disc rotated with a soft click-clack, Mona quickly pinpointed the direction to Yashiori Island.

Nolan then activated his Blue Vortext ability, manipulating the seawater to propel the small adventure boat forward.

Without the usual resistance from water and even being actively pushed ahead, the boat surged forward at a remarkable speed—faster than most vehicles on a highway. It felt comparable to a high-performance sports car at full throttle, reaching speeds of 200-300 kilometers per hour.

Of course, this was only Nolan's impression; without proper measurement, the exact speed remained uncertain.

Normally, such a small adventure boat would fall apart at such speeds, but Nolan had cleverly applied a thin layer of wind-element energy around the hull to shield it, ensuring the boat remained intact.

From here, all they needed was for Mona to provide occasional navigational updates, ensuring they stayed on course.

That's the power of the "Mona Compass": precise navigation, making it nearly impossible to get lost, even on the endless sea.

Frustrated by Nolan's continued flirting with Mona rather than focusing on steering, Lumine shoved the pair onto a nearby seat. "Go ahead, flirt all you want!" she huffed.

Taking the helm, Lumine decided to steer alongside Paimon.

Driving a boat this fast was fun, though she'd never admit that a tiny pang of jealousy spurred her decision!

The rushing sea breeze flowed over the surface of the small adventure boat, parting smoothly along its streamlined shape.

Amid the vast expanse of the ocean, the boat looked as small and insignificant as an ant crawling on a sheet of blue paper. Even after half a day of sailing, all they could see was endless water.

If not for the unmistakable sensation of the seawater propelling them forward, Nolan might have thought they hadn't moved at all.

Over the course of half a day, Mona performed two additional divinations to correct their slightly off-course direction. Thanks to her efforts, Nolan was confident they were heading in the right direction.

"Now that the excitement of setting sail has worn off, Paimon is so bored... and Paimon is a little hungry," Paimon said as she manned the helm, releasing it momentarily to pat her small stomach.

"True, it's already noon. Let's stop and grab something to eat," Nolan said, patting Lumine and Mona, who were sitting on either side of his lap and sharing kisses with him.

Noticing Lumine's earlier tinge of jealousy, he had pulled her into the embrace as well.

Nolan wasn't just taking advantage of the girls for his own enjoyment. His main goal was to use the Harmony ability to enhance their power.

For instance, Lumine's strength had increased from level 76 to 79 after a few days of integrating her understanding of Electro-elemental energy. Moments ago, after another kiss, she had even reached level 80.

With some more focused time together, they could push past level 80—faster than even Nolan could manage with his Adventure EXP system!

Of course, Lumine's natural strength played a huge role in this. By comparison, despite spending over an hour kissing Mona and absorbing plenty of Harmony Energy, she remained steadfast at level 72, with no immediate breakthroughs.

"Hmph!" Mona crossed her arms, still scowling. While she secretly enjoyed the sensation of her body growing stronger, it wasn't enough to forgive Nolan for his teasing.

Seeing her pout, Nolan felt an urge to tease her further. Not giving Mona a chance to get up, he wrapped his legs around her soft calves and pulled her back into his arms. Without hesitation, he pressed his lips against hers once more.

Kissing a beautiful girl never gets old!

"Mmph!" Mona couldn't speak, her muffled protests accompanied by weak slaps against his chest.

Lumine gave Nolan a helpless glance but chose not to intervene. Instead, she teleported away with Paimon to join Fischl back in Mondstadt, planning to buy fresh, hot food to bring back. With their ability to teleport anywhere at any time, there was no need to settle for dried rations during their adventures.

After finishing lunch, Mona performed another divination to determine the correct direction, and Nolan resumed steering the small adventure boat forward.

In the afternoon, Lumine and Mona teamed up to keep Nolan in check, preventing him from any further antics. Left with no choice, he instead spent time seriously discussing elemental energy usage with them.

As dusk approached, their journey was interrupted by an attack from a swarm of aquatic monsters resembling fish.

They looked like piranhas but with sharp, blade-like fins that gleamed silver, resembling razor-sharp knives. These fins could easily slice through the wooden planks of their boat if the creatures got too close.

To protect his newly purchased vessel, Nolan instructed Lumine to add an additional layer of Geo-elemental reinforcement to the hull, making it much sturdier and safer.

From what he could see through his Golden Eye of Judgement, this swarm of razor-finned piranhas wasn't weak. Their average strength was around level 30. While a large ship with a thick hull could withstand their attacks, a small boat like theirs would be at their mercy—unless someone as powerful as Nolan was on board to deal with them swiftly.

Through the transparent glass window at the front of the boat, Nolan observed the fish swarm swimming below. Concentrating his Hydro-elemental power, he created a massive whirlpool at the heart of the swarm!

The fish were immediately sucked into the vortex and shredded as though caught in a giant blender.
