Genshin Impact: The Crit Archon

Chapter 18: How to Raise a Dragon.

As in what seemed to be a training room, as there was Amber, Lisa, Eula, Jean, Kaeya and Diluc, as they were looking at Luminis, as then a big barrier came up the whole Area, as they looked at Lisa and Aether.

Aether then spoke. "We have set the Bounded field the area"

Lisa then Continue. "Yes me and Cutie (Aether), have incanted hell and back, so it won't break, so we can see his powerful out".

Kaeya then spoke. "Ok but how strong can he be, he is a few weeks old and looks like 5 yearold".

Diluc just looked at Kaeya. "Don't forget, he is a dragon child he makes look human but he is full dragon, not just that is one with the element's of Anemo and Cryo"

As the group prepared to test Luminis's abilities, the air was thick with anticipation. Luminis, a dragon child with both Anemo and Cryo elements, looked around with curious eyes. He was surrounded by the knights and Lisa, who had been instrumental in setting up the training area.

Amber was the first to break the silence. "Alright, Luminis, let's start with something simple. Show us what you can do with your Anemo abilities."

Luminis nodded, focusing his energy. A gentle breeze began to swirl around him, growing stronger as he concentrated. With a gesture, he directed the wind into a series of controlled gusts that flowed gracefully through the air, creating a small cyclone in the center of the room.

Jean, observing closely, nodded in approval. "His control over the wind is impressive for his age. It seems he has already developed a natural talent for it."

Lisa added, "The real challenge will be seeing how he handles combining his Anemo abilities with Cryo."

Eula, still a bit skeptical, crossed her arms. "Let's see if he can manage that combination. It's one thing to control one element; combining them will be another test."

Luminis, taking a deep breath, raised his hands. This time, he summoned a blast of cold air mixed with swirling winds. The room's temperature dropped noticeably as a frosty mist enveloped the cyclone. The combination of ice and wind created a mesmerizing, swirling vortex of cold and air.

Amber clapped enthusiastically. "Wow, that's incredible! He's managing both elements really well."

Diluc observed with a critical eye. "It's not just about managing the elements; it's also about how he uses them strategically."

Kaeya chuckled. "It looks like he has potential. But we should test his physical abilities next. He needs to be more than just a pretty display of elemental power."

With that, the group moved on to the next phase of the training. They set up obstacles and targets around the room to assess Luminis's agility, strength, and accuracy. Luminis eagerly tackled each challenge, showing impressive speed and precision for his age.

As the day came to a close, the group gathered around Luminis, who was exhausted but happy. Aether approached him with a proud smile. "You did amazing today, Luminis. You've got a bright future ahead of you."

Luminis looked up with a wide smile. "Thank you, Papa! Mama!"

Eula, still getting used to the idea of being called "Mama," smiled warmly. "You did well, Luminis. We're all very proud of you."

As they left the training room, the group chatted about Luminis's progress. They were optimistic about his development and excited for the future.

Jean, reflecting on the day, remarked, "We've got a lot to look forward to with Luminis. If he continues to grow like this, he'll be a force to be reckoned with."

Luminis then looked at everyone. "I can do more".

Amber just looked at him. "Wait what"

As the Luminis clinched his fist as it was covered by ice as he the slammed it down the ground, as a way of cold went to the ground, then the whole group was covered by ice as the wind picked as it was almost in the same level as a Tornado.

Eula just looked at her dragon child. "Luminis how did you do this".

Luminis then spoke with the way only a child like him can. "I just felt it and I can do it".

Aether just golped and looked at his dragon child. "I feel very proud and very tarified".

Kaeya then spoken to aether. "That would be the feeling of a father inside of you Aether".

As the ice spread out and the tornado of wind roared, the group was momentarily stunned by Luminis's display of power. The icy storm created a mesmerizing but chaotic scene, with frost creeping up the walls and the wind howling through the barrier.

Amber, initially shocked, managed to call out over the cacophony, "Luminis, you need to control it! This is too much for the space we have!"

Eula, still in awe, shouted, "Luminis, focus on maintaining the balance between ice and wind. If you let it get out of control, it could be dangerous!"

Luminis, with a concentration that belied his age, started to focus his energy. The ice and wind began to converge and calm down, though the room was still covered in a thin layer of frost. Slowly, the cyclone shrank and the temperature returned to normal.

Aether approached Luminis with a mix of pride and concern. "Luminis, that was incredible. But remember, even with great power, it's important to learn control and responsibility."

Luminis, panting slightly, nodded. "I understand, Papa. I just wanted to show you that I can do more."

Kaeya, grinning, said, "That's certainly more than we expected. But yes, it's crucial to master these abilities carefully."

Diluc, looking at Aether, added, "It seems like he's inherited both your and Eula's talents well. But as Kaeya mentioned, the true challenge will be managing this power responsibly."

Jean, trying to maintain her usual composure, said, "We'll need to continue training him to ensure he understands both the potential and the limits of his abilities."

Lisa, always practical, began examining the ice-covered area. "I'll start working on a spell to help control and stabilize elemental outbursts. It'll be useful for both Luminis and for any future training sessions."

As the group began to clean up and reset the training room, Aether pulled Eula aside. "I knew raising a dragon child would be challenging, but I didn't anticipate this level of power so soon."

Eula, smiling softly, replied, "He's a special child with a lot of potential. It's our job to guide him and help him harness that power in the best way possible."

Aether nodded, taking a deep breath. "Yes, you're right. We'll handle this together."

Kaeya then looked at Luminis. "Can he fly"

Luminis just looked at Kaeya before he spoke. "I don't know Uncle Kaeya"

Kaeya's jaw dropped at Luminis's casual use of "Uncle Kaeya," a term that caught him completely off guard. Diluc struggled to suppress a chuckle, his attempt failing as a soft snort escaped. The rest of the group, while trying to maintain composure, couldn't help but smile at the unexpected revelation.

Kaeya blinked several times, trying to process the situation. "Did—did he just call me 'Uncle Kaeya'?"

Luminis, oblivious to the reaction his words had caused, tilted his head and responded innocently, "Yes. Isn't that what you are?"

Jean, barely holding back a smile, said, "It seems like Luminis feels quite at ease with all of us."

Lisa, also amused, added, "It's endearing to see him so comfortable. But it looks like we need to adjust to this new dynamic."

Amber, who had been observing, grinned and said, "It seems Luminis is already making an impression."

Kaeya, finally recovering, put on a playful smirk. "Well, if Luminis calls me 'Uncle,' I suppose I'll have to live up to the title. But let's see if he can indeed fly."

Luminis's eyes lit up with curiosity at the mention of flying. "I don't know if I can fly yet. How do I try?"

Diluc, his amusement fading, spoke with a practical tone. "You should start with small attempts, focusing on balancing yourself in the air before trying full flight. Let's ensure you're safe while exploring your abilities."

Aether nodded in agreement. "We'll make sure to guide you through it carefully."

Kaeya, now fully engaged, added, "Let's find a safe spot outside for a controlled flying session. I'm eager to see what you can do."

The group made their way to a large, open field near Mondstadt, a perfect spot for Luminis to practice flying. The sky was clear, and the area was free from obstacles, making it an ideal location for the young dragon to experiment with his abilities.

As they arrived, Luminis looked around with wide-eyed wonder. His small dragon wings fluttered in anticipation. Kaeya and Diluc set up a safe zone with some temporary markers to ensure Luminis had enough space and could land safely.

Aether crouched beside Luminis, offering a reassuring smile. "Okay, Luminis. The key to flying is to focus on balancing your wings and keeping your movements steady. Start with a short lift-off and gradually increase your height as you gain confidence."

Luminis nodded, his determination evident. He took a deep breath and flapped his wings tentatively. For a moment, he hovered a few inches off the ground before landing softly. The group cheered in encouragement.

Amber clapped her hands. "That was great for a first try, Luminis! Try lifting a bit higher this time."

With a nod, Luminis repeated the process. This time, he managed to stay airborne a little longer, hovering a few feet above the ground. The wind caught his wings, giving him a sense of how to maneuver in the air.

Kaeya watched closely, his usual smirk replaced by an expression of focused interest. "You're doing well, Luminis. Try to control your direction with your wings and keep your body balanced."

Diluc, standing beside Kaeya, added, "Make sure to watch your speed. Quick, sudden movements might throw you off balance."

Luminis nodded and attempted to control his flight with more precision. He made several short flights, gradually increasing his altitude and distance. With each attempt, his flying skills improved, and the group's encouragement fueled his progress.

Jean, observing the development, praised Luminis. "You're making impressive strides. Keep practicing, and you'll be flying like a pro in no time."

After some time, Luminis successfully completed a few circles in the air, landing gracefully each time. The group applauded, thrilled with his progress. Eula, who had been watching proudly, walked over to Aether.

"You should be proud," Eula said, her eyes shining with affection. "He's growing up so fast and showing remarkable potential."

Aether nodded, his gaze following Luminis. "I am proud. It's incredible to see him developing these abilities so quickly."

As the sun began to set, casting a warm glow over the field, Luminis landed one last time, visibly exhausted but happy. The group gathered around him, congratulating him on his achievements.

Amber smiled warmly. "You did amazing today, Luminis. You're going to be a great flyer."

Luminis beamed with pride, his wings folding as he stood among his friends. "Thank you, everyone. I couldn't have done it without your help."

As they packed up and prepared to head back to Mondstadt, the group shared a sense of accomplishment and camaraderie. The day had been a success, marking a significant step in Luminis's growth and a testament to the support and encouragement of his newfound family.

During dinner at the Knights of Favonius headquarters, the dining hall was filled with an unusual spectacle. The knights, usually accustomed to Paimon's insatiable appetite, were now witnessing an even more astonishing sight. Luminis, the young dragon boy, was devouring an impressive stack of food with gusto.

Eula and Aether watched with a mix of amusement and surprise. Luminis seemed entirely absorbed in his meal, his little hands working furiously to keep up with the vast amount of food in front of him. Plates piled high with meat, vegetables, and pastries disappeared at a rapid pace.

Aether finally broke the silence, his voice filled with disbelief. "Wow, he eats more than Paimon."

Paimon, who had been quietly nibbling on her own plate, looked up sharply at Aether, a pout forming on her lips. "Hey, what's that supposed to mean?"

Amber, sitting nearby, chuckled and patted Paimon on the back. "I think Aether's just surprised by how much Luminis can eat. It's not every day we see someone with such a big appetite."

Jean, observing the scene with a bemused smile, added, "It's impressive. I suppose dragons have a different metabolism compared to humans."

Luminis, oblivious to the conversation, continued to eat, his face lighting up with every new dish he tried. The knights couldn't help but admire his enthusiasm.

Kaeya, always one for a witty remark, leaned back and said, "At this rate, we'll need to double the amount of food we prepare for him. It seems he's got a dragon's appetite, after all."

Diluc, who had been quietly watching, nodded in agreement. "He's certainly not going to go hungry anytime soon."

Eula, who had been silently observing her son with a mixture of pride and amusement, finally spoke up. "He's growing quickly, and it seems he's inherited quite a bit of his dragon heritage."

Aether glanced at Eula and then back at Luminis, who had finally started to slow down. "Well, it looks like we'll need to make sure we keep him well-fed. I'm glad he's adjusting so well, though."

Paimon, still a bit miffed, crossed her arms but couldn't hide a small smile. "Guess I'll have to step up my game if I want to keep my title as the biggest eater around here."

As the meal continued, the conversation turned to lighter topics, and the atmosphere in the hall grew more relaxed. The knights enjoyed their dinner, occasionally glancing at Luminis with a newfound respect for his impressive appetite.

Later that night in Aether and Eula's room, the couple found themselves in a quiet, reflective moment. Luminis was nestled comfortably between them, sound asleep. The soft glow of the moonlight filtered through the curtains, casting a gentle light over the room.

Eula turned to Aether, her expression a mix of wonder and contemplation. "It's strange, isn't it? Looking at Luminis, it feels like we're a family that's been together for years. He seems like a perfect blend of us, and without his wings, he looks like a natural fusion of our traits."

Aether, sitting beside her with a soft blush on his cheeks, nodded. "Yeah, it does feel that way. Even though we're not actually married, it's like we're living out a scenario where we are. And all of this started because of that moment when you touched the egg while I was channeling my energy."

Eula smiled gently, reaching out to brush a strand of hair from Luminis's face. "Sometimes life takes unexpected turns, and it's moments like these that make it all worthwhile. It might not have been planned, but we're making the best of it. Luminis is part of our lives now, and that's something precious."

Aether's blush deepened as he glanced at Eula, feeling a mix of warmth and affection. "I never imagined things would turn out this way, but I'm glad they did. Despite the chaos and surprises, having Luminis and sharing this life with you feels incredibly fulfilling."

Eula leaned closer, her eyes soft and affectionate. "And I feel the same. We may not have followed a traditional path, but our journey together has brought us something truly special."

As they both looked down at their sleeping child, the room was filled with a quiet sense of contentment. The challenges they had faced and the uncertainties ahead seemed to pale in comparison to the joy of their newfound family bond. For now, they cherished the moment and the unique, unexpected path their lives had taken.

Aether then looker at Eula. "Funny part is we are not even dating".

Eula chuckled softly, her eyes twinkling with amusement. "True, it is quite amusing. We've essentially ended up as a family without even having gone on a traditional dating journey."

Aether smiled, a mixture of fondness and curiosity in his gaze. "I guess life has its own way of moving things along. Even without the usual steps, we've ended up here, and it feels like it was meant to be."

Eula nodded in agreement, her smile widening. "It's a reminder that sometimes, the best things in life come when you least expect them. We've built something special together, and that's what truly matters."

They shared a moment of comfortable silence, both reflecting on the unexpected yet fulfilling path their lives had taken.
