Global Lord: My Undead Can Undergo Fission

Chapter 11: Chapter 11 Territory Upgrade to Village

"No good, I must find a way," Fang Jie frowned as he looked at the tall figures.

The strength of the Black Iron level Goblin Lords greatly surpassed the Apprentice level, and there were many Skull Soldiers, but they couldn't hold them off at all. Moreover, with their huge size, the Goblin leaders charged like tanks.

If twelve of them attack together, my own Skeleton Conversion Field might not hold.

And once it's breached, real danger would follow as I would lose the source of my forces.

How could Fang Jie not be anxious, surrounded by an endless number of Goblins whose total count was unknown?

At that moment, Fang Jie suddenly saw the Goblins attacking his Lord's Cottage. He laughed, "I forgot I still had this at my disposal. Attack them, draw them over."

As he spoke, Fang Jie picked up a stone from the side and threw it right at a Goblin Lord.

"Looking the wrong way, this is where the Lord's Cottage is, come at me if you dare."

While he said this, Fang Jie also ordered the Skeleton Soldiers near him to cease their attack on the Goblin Lord. The Goblin Lord glanced forward, then back at Fang Jie, hesitated a moment, and finally walked towards Fang Jie's direction.

"Good, these idiots really do have problems with their brains, they can be exploited to good effect."

One by one, Fang Jie lured the Goblin leaders over, a total of eight, circling his Lord's Cottage.

Their massive clubs pounded fiercely, but due to the protection afforded by the Lord's Cottage, these attacks were completely ineffective. However, amid the chaotic scene, several Goblin Lords noticed nothing.

Outside, four remained, one of which was attacking my Material Warehouse, being blocked by some Skull Soldiers.

Others were still besieging my Skeleton Conversion Field. "I'm at a huge loss, this is a disaster," Fang Jie watched the distant Skeleton Conversion Field as many Skull Soldiers emerged and joined the battlefield before they could undergo Fission.

Under the unrelenting onslaught of the Skull Soldiers, a Goblin Lord finally couldn't hold on any longer.

A Skeleton Soldier pierced the leg of a Goblin Lord, who screamed miserably and fell. A flood of Skull Soldiers rushed up, stabbing recklessly without regard for life or death.

Initially, some Skull Soldiers were sent flying, but eventually, that Goblin Lord stopped moving.

In Fang Jie's eyes, the tag disappeared, signaling the first Goblin Lord had finally died.

"Intercept them, don't let them return." With the death of a Goblin Lord, those attacking the Lord's Cottage began to stir. Fang Jie promptly ordered nearby Skeleton Soldiers to block them.

Suddenly, Fang Jie noticed a problem—the strength of these Goblin Lords seemed diminished.

"Each attack before was marked by a dark red hue, but now the color seems faded and doesn't burst as often. Could it be they have some special energy that's almost depleted?"

Fang Jie watched the lying Skeleton Labor thoughtfully.

Perhaps like his use of Fission, these Goblin Lords' attacks also required some consumption.

In any case, weakened Goblin Lords, faced with the attack of the Skull Soldiers, were no longer unaffected but increasingly gravely wounded. A hit could now inflict horrendous injuries.

A scream followed; at the Skeleton Conversion Field, another Goblin Lord died.

Soon after, the four outside were all wiped out, and Fang Jie finally released the block on the two Goblin Lords. These Goblin Lords, hardly thinkers, charged ahead without the block.

Thus, two by two, the Goblin Lords were let through, and it wasn't long before they all lay dead.

Looking around, with no other dangers in sight, Fang Jie breathed a sigh of relief.

"Quick, come for the Fission, don't waste it." Fang Jie finally remembered the issue with his Skull Soldiers and called out urgently.

A large number of Skull Soldiers ran to the Lord's Cottage, and Fang Jie began the Fission operation immediately. While absorbing the Strength from nearby Skeleton Labor, he carried out the Fission.

Unbeknownst to him, the sounds of battle outside grew fainter, yet Fang Jie was still intensely performing Fission.

"Disaster Level challenge, the Goblin's Revenge has ended, the Lord has successfully advanced the Lord's Cottage to a village, please name the village." A voice suddenly rang out, finally bringing Fang Jie back to reality.

"It's over? It's finally over." Fang Jie felt his whole body numb as if in pain from just a slight movement. Maintaining Fission for so long had been a considerable strain on himself.

"Naming, huh? What name to choose?" Fang Jie thought for a moment, then carefully said, "How about, 'Origin'?"

"Origin Village successfully named," the prompt responded immediately.

Origin Village Level 1: Territory Core Building, has certain production capabilities, can produce Skeleton Labor.

Upgrade requires: 100 units of Hardwood, 100 units of Solid Stone, 200 units of Bone, 100 Spirit Points, 500 population.

Skeleton Labor Level 3: Level (Apprentice)

Recruitment requires: 1 unit Bone, 1 Spirit Point.

"The materials required for upgrading have changed to Hardwood and Solid Stone; it seems the materials have levels too. But why hasn't the Skeleton Labor change, still at level 3?" Fang Jie was somewhat baffled.

"Will you switch Camps? If not, Territory Talent will be strengthened."

"Not switching." I had already switched to the Undead Camp, and all my Talents were already related to Undead Splitting. Switching to another Camp, what use would my Talents then have? That would mean throwing away my advantages.

Had his Talent been different, Fang Jie might have considered a conversion, as the Undead easily incited hostility from the living.

"Begin choosing a Talent, note that you already have a Unique level Camp Talent. Disaster Level challenge condition met, would you like to enhance it? After enhancement, Territory Talent will become equivalent to your own Talent."

Fang Jie pondered for a moment. Choosing directly would probably grant a powerful Talent. But if he enhanced it, it would be an enhancement of his own Undead Splitting Talent.

He wasn't sure what use the enhanced Talent would bring, but Fang Jie thought, "Never mind, enhance it. It requires many conditions to be met, there must be unexpected benefits. At least, it'll help me save some Magic Power, right?" With this thought, he chose to enhance.

Territory Talent: Undead Splitting Level 1 (Unique)

The next moment, the Territory gained a new Talent. "Let's experiment, see what the effects are."

Fang Jie ordered a Skeleton Labor to toss some materials into the Skeleton Conversion Field. After a short while, Fang Jie saw two Skull Soldiers emerge from within, that's right, two – not one.
