Good or bad, does it matter?

Chapter 168: Chapter 167

 [Grimmauld Place 12.]

In front of a small four-story brick building, a group of five people in dark robes appeared, who immediately directed their gaze towards the building with two entrances, above one of which was the number "eleven", and on the other - "thirteen".

Muggles passing by, looked with sincere amazement at the people in strange outfits who appeared, while wondering how they did it.

Some even stopped to watch the show, while others clapped at such a surprising appearance.

"Fidelius" the lady drawled with a bit of contempt in her voice, looking at the house, and then with no less contempt at the Muggles, while irritation slowly began to rise inside her and she raised her hand, the next moment, it was intercepted by another, from which the woman's mood only worsened.

"Please, calm down, if you do this, then the authorities …"

Abruptly tearing her hand out of the grip, a ringing sound of a slap was heard along the deserted street, from which a red mark appeared on the face of the man who had previously stopped her.

The victim himself and the other three almost did not react to this, but the Muggles were sincerely amazed by such a turn of events, while impatiently awaiting the continuation.

"If you dare to stop me again, you will be in their place," she hissed, narrowing her eyes menacingly, and then a wand appeared her hand, waving which, a dome-shaped wave invisible to the eyes of ordinary people rushed from her body and quickly swallowed the nearest twenty metres around.

After this action, the Muggles shuddered and, as if spellbound, trudged in different directions and as soon as they left the territory of the barrier, they "came to life" again and, as if having forgotten everything that had happened earlier, went further, and those who needed to go through that place, simply went around.

In just a few minutes, the previously crowded street was completely empty and the woman put her wand back in her holster.

"Capture Bellatrix Black alive, and kill the rest," the witch coldly ordered, while in her hand a simple, black, time-worn dagger appeared, "Hm! Only idiots can think that this is enough to hide from us," she threw it and the next moment it stuck into the brick wall, like a knife through butter and a ripple passed through the space, after which the house trembled and slowly began to increase to the sides, revealing another entrance to their view, in front of which the Blacks were already standing: the head of the family, his wife and Bella, while each of them heard the words of the unknown woman well and were already tightly squeezing their wands in their hands, preparing for the upcoming battle.

"Who sent you and what do you want ?!" Orion exclaimed, stepping forward, with tension on his face, he had already seen the strength of this woman and the last thing he wanted to do after such a demonstration was to fight them, if all this could be resolved without the use of combat spells.

"Hm!" a stream of wind burst from her hand, taking the form of a blade and rushing towards the Black couple.

"Protego!" the head of the clan exclaimed gloomily, creating a barrier, which the woman's attack hit the next moment, 'Where did all this power come from...?!' the man thought with shock, gritting his teeth, feeling how he was gradually being pushed back, and this was non-verbal magic, which is usually much weaker than wand magic, 'Monster!'

But a second later, he felt a sharp relief and the wizard noticed another wand, belonging to his wife, and thanks to which, together they were able to stop the unknown woman's spell.

"Apparently you can do something," Amelia snorted with undisguised contempt. She did not want to make the same mistake as before, when she greatly underestimated her opponent and therefore decided to act more carefully this time, but seeing almost no resistance, her lips spread into a grin…

"Uncle…"Bellatrix's calm voice sounded, tearing the man out of his thoughts, "If I voluntarily go with you, will you leave my family alone?" passing by him, with indifference on her face, she asked, standing in front of them.

"Bellatrix...!" At the same time, one of the subordinates approached the witch from the "Queen" and whispered: "Captain, if we get another pair of eyes and ears in Britain from among the aristocracy, perhaps the headquarters will soften the punishment a little …"

"Hm ... that's a good idea …" the lady drawled, narrowing her eyes contentedly, again raising her gaze to the Black couple, "Good …"

"Wait," grabbing Bellatrix by the hand, he stopped her and pushed her back, frowning at the group of wizards.

"Why do you need my niece?" Orion understood that nothing good could be expected from this, so, now, he was simply trying to stall for time until the Aurors arrived, whom the head of the family managed to call before the barrier was erected, "Until youAAARGH!" but before he could finish speaking, a small brooch on his chest exploded and the man grabbed his head and fell to his knees, and from his mouth came an inarticulate moan filled with pain.

"Darling!" Walburga exclaimed with panic in her voice, lowering herself to him, while barely restraining her rage, realising that she simply could not help in this situation, after all, although the aristocrat was a hot-tempered person, she was not stupid and understood a lot, and in some aspects, even surpassed her husband.

"I'll go!" Bellatrix exclaimed with difficulty restraining her anger, and only after this phrase the man fell silent and sank to the ground.

'Someday, I will torture you, creature!' with murderous intent, Bella burned her cold, dark eyes at the leader of the group.

"Not enough strength," Amelia looked at her with the same contemptuous grin as if she had read her thoughts, pointing her palm towards the wall from which the dagger was sticking out.

It vibrated and jumped out, rushing towards the witch, but… "Hm?" Halfway there, to her amazement, it changed its trajectory and a second later landed in the hand of an elderly man with a long beard, who was studying the artefact with mild interest.

"Girl, you have a very interesting toy, I would be happy to know about where you got it from," from his calm voice and look, in which nothing but disdain could be read, Amelia began to feel wild irritation, because never before had anyone dared to treat her like that, but because of the strange feeling of anxiety, as well as the ease with which the old man was able to take her dagger, made Amelia wary.

"It's okay, I'll get all this out of your head myself later …" As soon as Bellatrix saw the face of this wizard, her heart trembled, because she immediately remembered the very day when the meeting between Voldemort and Amon took place.

"Amon Ichiros ... but what is he ..." but before she had time to think about it, as the picture began to connect in her head, " ... unknown people ... an attack on Snape's store and house ... they need me alive ... the appearance of his teacher in this place ... "

"Who are you ?!" Amelia demanded an answer coldly, in whose hand the wand appeared again and seeing this gesture, the others also took them out.

"I am just an old man who is very worried about his student," slightly squinting, while twirling the artefact in his palm, he raised his hand and snapped his fingers.

And another dome-shaped wave swallowed everyone in just a few seconds, but when it was equal in size to the barrier that the woman had set up, it was destroyed, and then it suddenly became covered in flames, but at the same time, it did not burn anything, but simply burned and illuminated the territory with scarlet light.

This truly shocked all the assembled wizards, especially the members of the organisation, who sensed trouble approaching, but Bella and Walburga could not hide their shock, because they had never seen anything of such a large scale, without a wand and with such ease.

"And don't forget about my little animals that you killed…" and as soon as he finished speaking, several dozen blades rushed towards him, causing only a tired sigh from the old man's mouth, "... what a crude use of magic, you could at least try, show at least a little respect for the old man…" his finger was covered with a transparent film and pointing it at the approaching "projectiles", he simply destroyed the first one without any problems, and then the second and the third...

The ease with which the elderly wizard dealt with this caused another wave of shock, especially in Walburga, because she and her husband barely managed to repel one and she understood its power well, but what the wizard was doing was simply incomprehensible.

"I thought she was a monster, but..." when the last blade was destroyed, she shuddered, "... he is a real monster..."

But before the old man could even breathe, two perfectly shaped stones burst out from under the ground and tried to close together, squeezing him, but the wizard's body was surrounded by wind and in a moment, he was a metre away from that place.

But the members of the organisation did not stop there and hundreds of icicles rushed from all sides to "Ichiros", and behind them a dark magical wave began to cover them.

Seeing the already approaching dark icicles, his hand was covered in scarlet flame, which suddenly surrounded him and, as soon as they touched the fire, they melted in the same second.

"A mixture of ice and darkness magic, an interesting combination…" he looked mockingly at the woman who fell to her knees, from whose nose, eyes and ears blood was flowing in thin lines.

Amelia, who tried to invade his mind, received a strong rollback, crashing into a "wall", only not a simple one, but one with spikes.

"Even with an artefact that enhances mind magic, I couldn't do anything..." she could not hide the fear that filled her mind for a moment, "Why was nothing known about such a powerful wizard?! How did these damn spies work here?! If only I survive, I will torture these blind bastards! "

"Nooo!" This panicked cry brought her out of her thoughts and as soon as she looked towards its source, she saw only an old man, as well as an already dying flame.

As soon as their eyes met, goosebumps ran all over the woman's body at that moment, the words of her subordinate flashed through her head, who had previously suggested reporting everything to headquarters and waiting for a decision.

At that moment she realised that she had probably made the worst mistake of her life, but it was too late...

"I... I have to survive..." her eyes began to dart around, looking for a life preserver, until they stopped at Bellatrix.

"Here it is...!" Amelia was surrounded by a stream of wind and she rushed towards Bella, with a wild grin on her face, Bellatrix herself, distracted by the old man, only managed to notice the enemy approaching out of the corner of her eye at the last moment, but it was already too late, she simply did not have time to defend herself...
