Gravity Mage with Level-Up System

Chapter 1011: Returning to the starting point

From MC's Perspective:

Crook had lost hope. In desperation, he closed his eyes.

The bandits approached him at a slow pace. They can not wait to make someone miserable.

Swoosh!

The next moment, I emerged from the carriage wearing a mask. Before anyone could react, I appeared behind Crook and slapped the back of his head.

Crook felt a tingling pain on his back before losing consciousness.

"Who are you?" The leading Bandit asked. The other bandits that were following him were alerted.

Everyone expected that someone would be inside the carriage. However, upon observing the person's actions, they became suddenly alert.

On the other hand, I observed others. The bandits are not a threat to me. Then I noticed Crook's father was busy fighting. So I decided to remove the threat in front of me.

Swoosh!

I vanished from the scene and appeared in front of the leading bandit, who looked terrified.

"Argh!"

"We messed with a high level wizard!"

"Escape"

The bandits exchanged words.

A quick gleam appeared in my eyes.

Pfff!

I hit the bandit on the head. His head smashed into pieces like a watermelon.

The other bandits are horrified. They attempted to flee.

Swoosh!

I appeared in a flash before them one by one, crushing their heads.

The bandits were killed in seconds, leaving behind headless corpses on the ground.

When I turned around, I saw Crook lying unconscious on the ground. The only thing that witnessed it all was a 4th order Fire Salamander, who was terrified.

I smiled at the monster before entering the carriage. Then I appeared in the Gregor Mansion.

A few minutes later,

Crook's father ended the fight by killing the bandit leader. But there was no smile on his face. He does not know what happened to his son, who met with other bandits.

Swoosh!

The next moment, he dashed back and saw all of the horrible scenes on the ground.

The corpses lay scattered across the ground, their heads missing. His eyes swept across before finding his son laying on the ground.

"Crook," he dashed over there with his weakened body.

He noticed his son's body was intact, with no missing parts. He realized his son was unconscious. Then he gets him up.

Crook opened his mouth, groaned in pain, and touched his head behind.

"Father, what happened?"

"There were bandits here," Crook said as he looked around.

He was surprised and shocked. The bandits have all died.

Crook's Father saw that his son was actually surprised. He was hoping to get answers from his son.

"What happened?"

"Do you remember anything?" He asked.

Crook nodded and explained what he saw before losing consciousness.

"So someone knocked you unconscious and killed all of the bandits," Crook's father explained.

He stood up to inspect the area. He found no evidence of mana usage. This means that no one had cast the magic spell. In other words, the bandits did not have time to attack.

Crook was not stupid either. He realized someone had helped them secretly.

"We should complete the job as soon as possible," Crook'a father said in a solemn tone.

He was not as relaxed as before.

A few minutes later,

The red salamander resumes its flight through the air.

Days passed,

Crook and his father have come closer to their destination. It is a massive border city. It took them a couple of days to get here.

After the first encounter with the bandits, they joined other caravans to ensure their safety. This allowed them to arrive here safely.

Crook's father lands the monster carriage in the designated area for their type of transportation vehicle.

The red salamander touches the ground softly. There are other different types of monsters near it including the flying salamanders.

So the appearance of the fire salamander didn't attract much attention.

After landing, Crook's father asked his son, "So, someone will come and get those boxes. Can you do it?"

Crook smiled and replied, "Do not worry, father. I am aware of the location. It is not far from here."

"Alright, come back safely," Crook's father said.

Crook nodded before leaving. He had already stored the boxes in his storage bracelet.

Seeing that his son had left. Senior Crook went to Fire Salamander, Flip, to thank him.

Creak!

I exited by opening the door on the right. After closing the door, I immediately left the spot.

Senior Crook heard a noise from his carriage. However, when he went there to check, there was nothing.

On the other hand, my smile widened. My strategy worked out well. I returned to this location thanks to Crook and his father.

Now there is only one more plan before returning to the academy.

A few minutes later,

I arrived at the public transportation area. Which is close to the Crystal Class airship base. There are several people waiting for the air taxi.

As I swept my gaze around, I noticed Crook among the crowd. Then I donned a mask before approaching him.

My appearance did not attract much attention. Most people in this border city are dressed differently.

After walking through the crowd, I approached Crook and tapped on his shoulder.

Crook turned around and noticed a person wearing a mask in front of him.

"Box," I said with a cold tone.

Crook nodded when he heard that.

"Come with me," I asked. Following that, I led him to the remote area.

Crook understood what was happening. So he just followed.

Crook took the silver boxes from the storage bracelet once we arrived in the less populated area.

I simply accepted it and stored it in my storage bracelet. Then I gave him another pouch containing 30 mid-grade mana stones.

Crook accepted the pouch with surprise in his eyes.

"Bonus for good work," I told him before leaving the spot.

Seeing that masked man has left. Crook immediately rushes back.

He soon returned to his father's side and recounted the events to him.

Senior Crook was stunned inside. They had already been paid in advance. However, he did not expect to receive bonus money as well.

He suddenly felt that all of his efforts had been worthwhile.

"Ha...Ha...Ha...With this money. We can get something good for ourselves and our salamander," Senior Crook stated.

On the other hand, I began searching for caravan companies that travel to the Sand Rock Country.

I am glad I returned during the day. I have plenty of time to collect information.

15 minutes later,

I arrived at one of the agencies to obtain information.

As I entered the shop, I noticed a middle-aged woman behind the desk. She is a level-5 Wizard.

The women acknowledged the visitor and smiled.

She said, "Hello, what can I do for you?"

"I have come to look for caravans or air ships heading to the Sand Rock Country," I asked.

"Wait a second; I am going to look up the information," she replied.

On the other hand, I remembered the name of the merchant company that dropped me off here.

"Blue Wind Merchant Company," I said in my heart.

I am not sure if they are still operating.

The middle-aged women quickly discovered the information on the blue screen. Sand Rock Nation is a trading nation. The Lizzen State trades with them.

As a result, merchants frequently travel between two nations.

Then she discovered the public and private airships that were about to depart.

"Mister, I have found the information. But I don't know what you are looking for," She asked.

Hearing this, I responded, "I am going to send goods there. So I was hoping to find some room in one of those airships."

The middle aged women brows relaxed. She didn't find anything wrong with the statement.

She then looks at the blue screen to see which air ships are meeting the customer's needs.

The woman finds a couple of pieces of information on the screen. The government had no room for that. If you wanted to send goods, you had to register first.

Then she looks at the private companies. Some private companies are owned by super-wealthy wizard families. They do not allow last-minute registrations unless someone important requests them.

Finally, she discovered the AirShip, which meets the goal. This particular airship is operated jointly by medium-sized merchant families. They will stop at nothing to make money.

As a result, there are last-minute openings on their airship.

She then looks at the customer.

She said,"The Merchant Alliance's Airship is ready to depart. However, they only have one empty cabin available. They do not have room for vehicle storage."

"It's enough," I immediately said.

"Then it costs around 500 mid-grade mana stones," she said.

"What?" I exclaimed in surprise.

"They are ripping off," I added.

The woman said,"Sir, It can't be helped. If you want, you can check out their cabin first. It is completely safe. No one will harm your belongings."

"Can I do it?" I asked.

"Yes, but the entry ticket costs ten Mid grade mana stones per person," she said, smiling.
