The whistle blew, and Fukurodani's Bokuto Koutarou wasted no time making his presence known with a thunderous cross-court spike. Despite Yamamoto's quick reflexes, the ball smashed past him, landing just inside the baseline.

Kuroo, Nekoma's captain, smirked and clapped his hands. "Looks like Bokuto's fired up today. Let's make him regret it!"

Nekoma's defense immediately adjusted. With Kenma Kozume orchestrating the team's plays, the rhythm shifted. Kiyoshi wakasa stepped up, using his devastating cut shots and sharp angles to tear through Fukurodani's defense. Despite Bokuto and Akaashi's best efforts, wakasa unpredictable spikes proved difficult to block.

"Man, those angles are ridiculous!" Bokuto exclaimed, shaking his head after missing a dig.

The set remained neck and neck, with Fukurodani relying on Bokuto's explosive power and Akaashi's precise sets. On the other hand, Nekoma played their signature defensive game, with Libero Yaku Morisuke and Kiyoshi working in perfect sync to counter Fukurodani's attacks.

Fukurodani's blockers, Bokuto and Onaga, struggled to contain him. Even Akaashi, with his usual calm demeanor, couldn't find a reliable solution.

"Wakasa's like a virus!" Bokuto groaned after another failed block.
