Harry Potter: Demon Monarch

Chapter 69: Chapter -69 Tying Ludo's Bell.

Chapter -69.

In the hall, whether pure-blood officials or Aurors from the Ministry of Magic, they all trembled as they watched Lester continuously punish the criminals.

A group of lively criminals writhed on the ground, howling in a pitiful manner. However, only one prisoner, covered in dust and with an indistinguishable face, stood unharmed in place.

Ludovico: "..."

Looking at the prisoners writhing in pain at his feet, Ludo nervously checked his own body.

Unharmed!

Just as he felt something was strange, he noticed the exceptionally powerful Carlson glaring at him. "Does he know I'm Ludo Bagman?" Ludo first felt perplexed, then began to let his imagination run wild.

Before he became the head of the Department of Magical Sports, he was an outstanding Quidditch player with quite a few fans in the British magical community.

"Could it be that this person is a fan of mine? That's why he recognized me among the prisoners?"

Thinking this, a confident smile gradually appeared on his face. He never expected that after retiring for so many years, he would still encounter a fan in the wizarding world, and it was even a strong figure like Carlson who was his fan—what an honor!

Just as he wanted to step forward to greet his fan, Ludo suddenly felt a chill in his lower body. Then, a bone-piercing pain radiated from his lower region.

"Ah!!!!" A scream that overshadowed all the prisoners' voices came from Ludo's mouth, startling the nearby prisoners who were caught off guard.

That's right, no beating the diligent, no beating the lazy, just beating the blind.

Due to the black dust all over Ludo's face, combined with the gray prison uniform he was wearing, Lester did not recognize him as Ludo, who later hosted the Quidditch World Cup and served as a judge for the Triwizard Tournament, and thought he was just a mentally unstable prisoner.

After he poked Ludo a few times and got no reaction, Lester had no choice but to use force, unhesitatingly casting the jinx 'The Knot Tying Curse!'

"Ah, ah, ah!!!" Ludo rolled on the ground in pain, tears streaming down his face, mixed with snot covering his entire cheek.

The dust on his face was washed away, revealing his true appearance.

"Ludo!" At that moment, Arthur Weasley, who had been watching the prisoners, finally moved.

Just now, he relied entirely on Ludo to avoid being beaten by the crazed prisoners, so Arthur remembered Ludo's kindness.

Now that the group of prisoners had been subdued, Arthur naturally felt it was necessary to rescue Ludo.

However, since the prisoners had all been covered in dust, he didn't recognize who Ludo was.

But now, with Ludo's familiar scream and his gradually clear face, Arthur immediately recognized him.

Hurrying over to Lester's side, Arthur anxiously said, "Excuse me, that prisoner is actually from the Ministry of Magic; he is the head of the Department of Magical Sports, Ludo Bagman."

Arthur looked anxiously at the newly appointed middle-aged Auror in front of him, not daring to be arrogant in his words.

After all, he was a favored person in the Minister's eyes, and although he was a pureblood of the 28 families, he was not well-regarded by this group of powerful purebloods due to his closeness to Dumbledore.

And his whole family depended on his salary for food, so he couldn't afford to offend 'Carlson.'

Curiously sizing up Arthur from a close distance, Lester nodded, indicating that Arthur could go and bring Ludo out.

Faced with Arthur Weasley's request, Lester naturally had no reason to refuse him.

Although the Weasley family was currently in a dire situation, their children were all talented, and he had no need to offend this large family.

Moreover, since the prisoners were all insiders, he couldn't take Ludo Bagman back to Azkaban.

So, after witnessing Arthur Weasley rescue Ludo, Lester pretended to have vented his anger, threw the portkey on the ground, and coldly said, "Behave, go back by yourself."

Upon hearing this, the other prisoners all pretended to be terrified and hurriedly passed through the portkey to return.

After the prisoners had returned, the next to go through were the Dementors, who had been watching eagerly.

Led by the only Dementor who could speak human language, the Dementors returned to Azkaban in groups of three or five.

Their departure caused many people in the hall to unconsciously breathe a sigh of relief.

Then, after the group of prisoners and Dementors had left, Lester also followed with the defeated prisoners, returning to Azkaban through the portkey.

...

As soon as Lester and the others left, Arthur looked at Ludo, who was writhing and wailing in pain, with a pained expression, and asked, "Ludo, what's wrong? Where does it hurt?"

"Ah, ah, ah!!!" In response to Arthur's inquiry, Ludo could only answer with cries of anguish.

Where does it hurt? With so many people watching, how could he dare to say where it hurts!

Unfortunately, Arthur, concerned and flustered, didn't notice this; seeing Ludo constantly covering his groin, he immediately realized where Ludo was hurt.

Without caring about Ludo's struggles, Arthur quickly and skillfully removed Ludo's pants.

Don't get the wrong idea; he just wanted to see Ludo's injury so he could cast a healing spell.

However, as soon as Arthur took off Ludo's pants, he couldn't help but gasp.

"Hiss."

Arthur's terrified expression immediately attracted the attention of many, including Minister Smith, who suspected Carlson was acting.

Instantly, they all gasped in unison, contributing to the fight against global warming.

It was simply because Ludo's situation below was too unbearable to look at!

Not to mention Ludo himself, even the male onlookers felt pain just from seeing it.

"It seems that Carlson is definitely a loyal minister of the Ministry of Magic!" Minister Smith, upon seeing Ludo's miserable state, immediately dismissed any doubts about Carlson's collaboration with the Dark wizard Arlis. If they really had an unsavory partnership, Carlson wouldn't be torturing this group of prisoners like this; it was simply unbearable!

What happened in the Ministry of Magic and what Smith thought of Carlson were no longer relevant for the group of prisoners led by Lester.

Because they were completely free!!!

Carlson was the warden, and as the Dementor was one of their own, this group of prisoners could do whatever they wanted in Azkaban, right?

Just as this group of prisoners celebrated their victory under Lester's leadership, the outside wizarding world was in chaos.

Various rumors spread rapidly throughout the wizarding community. Due to the massive scale of the battle at the Ministry of Magic and the closure of the entire Floo Network leading to it, everything that happened inside the Ministry was immediately known to those with ill intentions, and under their influence, it quickly spread throughout the magical world.

Because Carlson solved the problem so quickly, for a moment, apart from those directly involved, no one in the magical world knew that the prisoners led by Dark wizard Arlis had been dealt with.

They only knew the old news that the third-generation Dark Lord, Dark wizard Arlis, had set the entire Ministry of Magic on fire and that the head of the Auror Office had been killed!!!

Instantly, the entire wizarding community fell into panic.
