Harry Potter: I Am Big D

Chapter 108: Chapter -107 House cup belongs to the disciplinary committee.

Chapter -107.

As soon as these words were spoken, they immediately attracted the attention of everyone in the auditorium.

Compared to the collective glare from the Gryffindors, the Slytherins showed expressions of delight, because the speaker was someone they knew all too well.

That was their respected Mr. Dudley Dursley.

"What right do you have to say that?"

Not long after Dudley finished speaking, someone jumped out to question him.

Dudley recognized this person, having noted him down in his little notebook: Lee Jordan, the Quidditch commentator for Hogwarts. Setting aside his commentary skills, he was known for his obvious bias, endlessly favoring Gryffindor and targeting Slytherin.

Other Gryffindor wizards also stood up excitedly, and only after Dumbledore emphasized silence once more did they reluctantly sit back down.

Dudley couldn't be bothered to respond to them and looked apologetically at Professor McGonagall: "Professor McGonagall, please forgive me; I did not mean to target you, nor did I intend to insult Godric Gryffindor. I am speaking about this group of Gryffindors who have done nothing; they do not have the right and should not receive the honor of the House Cup."

His remarks were not aimed at Professor McGonagall but at these wizards belonging to the house Gryffindor.

Reckless, impulsive, only knowing how to cause trouble, play pranks, and stir up conflicts.

Did they have the right to hold the house cup?

If they did, then the total score should not have been 111 points.

Without Hermione's active answering, they had spent two whole semesters moving from double digits to just over three digits.

If they were to win first place, it would be an insult to all the other diligent students!

Hufflepuff was more deserving than Gryffindor.

"I think the Gryffindors have not heard one important thing clearly."

Dudley's voice was deep and penetrating, calmly facing the countless glares that seemed ready to kill him, completely unfazed.

With techniques like the Ripple Energy, the assassination skills of the Zoldyck family, alchemy, and countless potions at his waist, Dudley had unknowingly become quite strong.

Even though he was still some distance from truly powerful wizards, he was not someone these little wizards could compare to.

"The points that Professor Dumbledore mentioned are awarded to individuals, not to Gryffindor."

In summary, it was a simple message: "Don't get ahead of yourselves; those points are not awarded to Gryffindor." Dumbledore had never announced that Gryffindor had won the House Cup.

"What's the difference?"

The Gryffindor wizards did not realize anything was amiss.

Was there really a difference between points awarded to individuals and those awarded to Gryffindor?

The vast majority of Gryffindors did not notice that Dudley's behavior had already crossed a line; this was not something a student should do, yet no professor stepped in to stop him.

Many clever Slytherins and Ravenclaws noticed this key point, as did a few Gryffindors and Hufflepuffs, such as fifth-year Percy and third-year Cedric.

"The difference is significant."

Dudley turned to look at Dumbledore: "Respected Headmaster, would you like to announce this, or shall I?"

"You go ahead," Dumbledore replied calmly.

Dudley nodded: "Starting today, Hogwarts will establish a new organization in addition to the heads of the four houses and the Head boy and Head girl ."

"The Discipline Group."

"Ron, Neville, Harry, and Hermione are all reserve members of the Discipline Group."

"And I, Dudley Dursley, am a formal member of the Discipline Group."

"We will handle violations within the campus, we will address injustices within the campus, and we will especially deal with bullying incidents on campus."

As he said the last sentence, Dudley's gaze pierced through Gryffindor like a sharp sword; the commotion from that incident had been quite significant, leading to the expulsion of several students. Aside from the bookworms who were solely focused on studying, basically everyone knew about this matter.

Not a single Gryffindor present dared to meet his gaze.

Once someone shows weakness, their momentum can collapse entirely.

At this point, with the professors' tacit approval, Dudley had taken control of the situation single-handedly.

"As long as they have the ability, we welcome anyone to join."

"One last thing."

"Draco!"

Malfoy, called by Dudley, stood up excitedly.

"You have not dishonored your glory; for this, you should receive 100 points."

Malfoy lifted his chin proudly, like a peacock, even though it was not the Headmaster praising him but Dudley, a fellow first-year.

'I have been praised, I have been praised by Dudley.'

As Dudley spoke, he brought his hands together, and beside the hourglasses of the four houses, a brand new hourglass appeared. The points originally awarded to Harry and the others instantly transferred to this new hourglass, and in an instant, this new hourglass surpassed the hourglasses belonging to the four houses.

"I think the house cup should belong to the Discipline Group!"

As he clapped his hands together again, the alchemical array on the back of his hands emitted a faint glow. The originally red-toned and lion-patterned decorations of the hall changed once more, intertwining black and silver, exuding a serious yet slightly mysterious aura.

At the same time, the lion pattern transformed; it was no longer the giant serpent of Slytherin.

It was a creature covered in thick, dark fur, with bright, expressive eyes and a horn on its forehead, resembling neither a cow nor a sheep, akin to an Ancient lion with a serpent tail.

This creature, also known as the beast that distinguishes right from wrong, represents fairness.

Dudley 's action deeply shocked the young wizards present; something that originally required several older Gryffindor students to collaborate on was accomplished with just a clap of his hands.

Moreover, others were unaware that what Dudley was performing was alchemy.

To them, Dudley 's current display was wandless magic, something even many powerful wizards could not achieve.

While the faces of the young wizards from the other three houses were filled with astonishment and surprise, the Slytherin students appeared remarkably calm.

"Truly worthy of Mr. Dursley," was the collective sentiment of the Slytherin students.

The sound of flapping wings echoed in the hall as an owl descended from above.

It was delivering a letter, addressed to Dudley , Dudley Dursley.

A beautifully crafted parchment cover.

An exquisite gold-embossed letter, along with a shiny Level 3 Merlin Medal.

The hall fell silent.

This time, even the professors in the front row were stunned.

That was a genuine Merlin Medal; even a Level 3 medal was not something everyone could possess!

"Dursley! Our Leader!"

At the Slytherin long table, Pansy stood up excitedly, leading the cheers. The second to react was Malfoy, his previously pale face now flushed, followed by more Slytherin students standing up to shout in unison.

The call seemed rehearsed, perfectly synchronized and powerful.

The massive shout nearly overturned the entire hall.

Ding.

"Prevent Gryffindor from winning the House Cup, achieved."
