"Look this'll do for now." Harry said as the group entered into a cave, allowing them to take a break from the fierce howling winds.

"Well, that was pleasant." Loki said as he stopped to slap some sand out of his hair.

"He's going to unleash it." Jane said in a worried voice. "Not just on Asgard or on a random planet, Malekith is going to destroy everything."

"How?" Thor asked. "Jane how?"

"I saw him on Earth, but why on Earth would he go to… well… Earth?"

"The convergence." Thor sighed.

"Oh god!" Jane moaned into her hands. "None of this would have happened if I hadn't found the Aether."

"Pretty much, yeah." Loki nodded.

"We will stop him." Sif said confidently.

"And how do you plan to do that?" Loki asked, raising an eyebrow. "We're stranded here in the realm of the dark elves, not only do we need to escape this realm but also stop Malekith who has the Aether."

"We should…" Thor was cut off by a blaring sound.

"What's that?" Sif asked as they all looked towards the area where the sound was coming from, which happened to be deeper in the cave. The words that accompanied it told them that it was a song, though Padfoot clearly didn't like it if his head shaking was any indicator.

"I'm going to have to say that that is music," Harry said as they walked further into the cave. "though I use that term loosely. Why can't people people just listen to normal rock and roll? Like Skillet." Nobody answered, partly because the Asgardians didn't know what he was talking about, but also because they were interrupted by a ringing sound that had them all look towards Jane who was answering a phone. "Who the hell set your ringtone?" Harry asked, but was ignored.

"Richard?!" Jane blurted out in a shocked voice as she talked into the phone. "Where are you?!" She asked.

"Who's Richard?" Sif asked Harry.

"Don't look at me." Harry shrugged.

The group continued walking while Jane conversed with Richard on the phone, they looked around and saw the cave littered with many things, Earth things. It was covered in shoes, there was also bottles, litter and even car keys. Jane appeared to have recognized a set of keys as she knelt down and grabbed them while still talking to Richard.

They walked for a few more moments when Jane suddenly disappeared from view.

"Portal." Harry grinned, "guess we can escape from here after all."

"Providing whatever is on the other side doesn't kill us." Loki reminded him.

"Good point, you test it out." Harry responded.

"Wait what are you…" Loki was cut off by Harry shoving him into the portal. "Let's go." Harry said before he and Padfoot walked into the portal with Thor and Sif following after them. A second later they all found themselves back on Earth where Loki was glaring at Harry, specifically outside the warehouse they were at earlier.

"That wasn't funny." Loki said to Harry.

"It was for me." Harry said as the group walked towards a red car, one that Jane clearly owned. Jane got into the driver seat with Thor in the front passenger seat while Harry sat in the seat behind Thor just as Loki sat in the middle and Sif sat in the seat behind Jane while Padfoot was able to get into the boot, thankfully it had enough space to let him move and lean his head over the seats to see everyone.

"So…" Thor said in a casual voice. "… who is Richard?" He asked.

"Really?" An exasperated Jane said as she reversed the car, Thor looked confused by her reaction while Sif and Loki looked amused.

"Thor," Harry said as he leaned forward and put a hand on Thor's shoulder "I don't know who this 'Richard' if it makes you feel better then I am sure that your 'little Thor' is bigger than his." Harry said, though that didn't help much as it only made Thor look more confused.

After a short trip they all eventually arrived at the building Jane lived in, thankfully they were able to sneak up without anyone noticing.

"Well… this looks… pleasant." Loki commented as they all arrived outside Jane's apartment. Jane rolled her eyes before walking inside, followed by Thor and Sif, then Harry and Padfoot with Loki at the back.

"Jane!" A voice said and the group turned to see the black haired girl from the warehouse, Darcy Lewis, talking to Jane. "You can't just leave like that!" She added while Thor decided to put Mjolnir on the coat rack. Harry raised an eyebrow at that, so did Padfoot, the coat hanger was worthy, who would have thought?. "The whole world is going crazy, all the stuff we saw is spreading and… did you go to a party?" She added when she saw Jane wearing Asgardian clothes.

"Erik?" Jane blurted out when she saw Erik Selvig sitting at a desk.

"Jane! How wonderful!" Erik exclaimed as he got up and revealed that apart from a brown shirt and some tighty whitey's. He walked around and hugged Jane enthusiastically, though it was made awkward by Jane also noticing his limited amount of clothing. "You've been to Asgard?" He asked once he let go and realized Jane was wearing Asgardian clothes.

"Where are your pants?" Jane asked, looking very confused.

"Oh, he says he thinks better without them." Responded a male who was also in the apartment.

"Do many midgardians dress like that?" Sif whispered to Harry.

"More than I'd like," Harry whispered back. "and not normally in front of company."

"Oh," Sif looked thoughtful. "do you…"
