Chapter 394: Chapter 394: Majestic Sisters
Ysera had left, disappearing silently in the Emerald Dream, without a trace of clouds.
Upon learning the true reason, she immediately abandoned the thought of temporarily monopolizing Alaric—even for a day or two—and chose instead to bring her two sisters over the next evening.
For Alaric, she naturally believed unconditionally.
The method of arrival was still through the Emerald Dream.
For mortals, it was too extravagant for three Guardian Dragons to visit simultaneously, especially since humans had ambiguous feelings about the existence of Guardian Dragons—or even dragons themselves.
However, even if they couldn't spend time alone, Ysera was still very happy because Alaric had mentioned "a day or two" first, proving that he cared.
For women, attitude is the most important thing, and the same goes for the Mother Dragon.
Although he didn't have much experience in pursuing a girlfriend seriously, after encountering so many girls, Alaric still had some insights.
…
On the evening of the following day, Alaric chose not to stay up too late.
He was very much looking forward to meeting Talonixa and Alexstrasza.
Lying down in bed early, he once again fell into a deep sleep, the familiar sensation arriving as expected.
This time, without Ysera's guidance, he successfully entered the Emerald Dream by himself—this world that was like a sister to Azeroth.
Dalaran in the Emerald Dream was still empty, and Alaric didn't linger here; instead, he hurried to the old place outside Lake Lordamere.
In terms of phasing, the Emerald Dream coincided with Azeroth, and as long as one mastered the techniques, they could even briefly influence reality through the Emerald Dream.
Thus, to avoid detection by powerful or keen beings, they wouldn't choose to meet in such populated areas.
At that moment, the three Guardian Dragons had long been waiting.
From a distance, Alaric could see three enormous figures.
The smallest among them was Ysera, but even she measured over a hundred meters in length.
Another was larger than her, nearly two hundred meters long, with a more voluptuous figure compared to Ysera.
This was a crimson dragon, its shimmering red body radiating an astonishing heat. Yet, amidst this warmth, there was a vibrant life force; even the plants in the Emerald Dream visibly thrived in her radiant presence.
Though her physique was enormous, Alaric could sense a gentle nature emanating from her massive frame—like a tender, virtuous wife.
This was Alexstrasza, the Life-Binder, the second sister among the trio.
The most striking of the three dragons was the one in the middle.
Though Alexstrasza was quite large, she still paled in comparison.
This dragon was over two hundred meters long, adorned in gleaming golden scales that sparkled even in the darkness.
Her figure was slender and graceful, with wings adorned with golden and white feathers—perhaps as rulers of the skies, only the Gold Dragon lineage bore feathered wings.
As her beautiful wings instinctively flapped, winds and thunder subtly surged beneath the feathers.
This dragon not only had the largest physique but also possessed a regal presence that surpassed her two sisters.
The former two were simply the Dragon Queens of their lineage, but this golden dragon seemed almost like the King of Dragons.
She was the Sovereign of the Skies, Talonixa, also the sixth Dragon Queen, who didn't exist in the original plot.
However, at the moment Alaric appeared, the two enormous, majestic Dragon Queens eagerly approached him.
They cautiously extended their massive heads next to Alaric, gently rubbing against him.
Yet, it was quite a comical sight to see these hundred-meter-long behemoths nuzzle a human under two meters tall.
Nevertheless, such actions deeply moved Alaric.
If not for considering the dignity of being a "father," he would have almost transformed into an Anima and embraced them in dragon form.
Finally, Alexstrasza and Talonixa made the same choice as Ysera—transforming into their mortal forms.
Alexstrasza's mortal form was that of a high elf woman, but her crimson hair, red eyes, and golden accessories on her dragon horns revealed her identity.
Compared to Ysera, Alexstrasza's mortal form felt like an older sister, exuding a married woman's aura—despite the fact that, like Ysera yesterday, she had no real experience.
Talonixa also appeared as a high elf, but her eyes and hair were golden, draped in a luxurious cloak of gold and white adorned with feathers.
Even in her mortal form, Talonixa still held a regal bearing; her proud queenly aura could make any human or elven monarch bow, but in Alaric's eyes, it ignited a sense of conquest.
Unfortunately, this desire for conquest was impossible to satisfy, as the next moment, Talonixa completely lost her queenly demeanor, embracing Alaric on either side alongside Alexstrasza—there was no pretense or pride to speak of.
Faced with such an openly "queenly" reception, Alaric found himself helpless.
After sharing heartfelt conversations, Ysera proactively brought up the topic of the world crisis.
"So, what kind of danger made Father so eager to summon us?" Alexstrasza asked, looking at him while embracing his left arm.
"Yeah, this seems a bit urgent. I thought little sister would want to spend a few days alone with you first—given her personality, she would definitely request that—abandoning that means it must be something quite important."
Talonixa teased, glancing at Ysera as she held Alaric's other arm.
At this, Ysera lowered her head in embarrassment.
Although she had found Father yesterday, she hadn't told her two sisters right away; instead, she sneaked away for the night.
Now, being exposed by her sister, she didn't regret her actions but felt a little guilty.
"Ahem… Let's not change the subject," Alaric coughed lightly, helping Ysera out of her predicament.
Then he said, "Although my time in this era hasn't been long, through my observations and understanding of this planet's past history, I deduce that this planet is headed for a tumultuous period.
Various crises, both from within and outside the planet, are approaching. There are more than just a couple of these crises, and they will arrive much faster than you expect.
Even Guardian Dragons like you may face the danger of falling during these crises. However, before I tell you everything, I want to ask you—what happened ten thousand years ago?"
