Harry Potter: Return From Future

Chapter 10: Horcrux in Mind

After getting used to the power coursing through his body, Harry turned serious.

He sat down cross legged and focused. In a moment he was back in his mindscape. Just like the previous time it was dark and gloomy.

Harry took a deep breath and next blood magic gushed into his mindscape. The gloomy atmosphere in his mindscape started to change and emerald colour magic started to fill in his mindscape.

The darkness of his mindscape started to reduce. An emerald colour hue started to spread with him as the centre, illuminating the mindscape.

After few moments, Harry opened his eyes. The darkness of his mindscape was gone which was now dimly lit in emerald hue.

Harry was now standing in middle of a small expanse. The floor below his feet was like a rugged stone. The expanse in which he was standing was the size of a Quidditch field.

What was peculiar was that at one end of the expanse was a dark shadow like a figure. It was giving extremely chilly and eerie feeling. The aura surrounding the figure was heinous.

Harry stepped forward and in no moment, he appeared right in front of the figure as if he has teleported.

Harry gazed intensely at the figure.

"Come out," said Harry. "Voldemort."

His voice was followed by silence. Moments later the figure started to contort and a disgusting face formed on it.

The figure was pale but was being overshadowed by the darkness in it. The facial features of the figure was almost negligent but even so its flat nose could not be ignored.

A contorted voice like a screech from a radio emerged from the figure, "Harry... Potter...."

"Voldemort," repeated Harry.

"The half blood," mocked Harry with amusement in his eyes.

The figure shivered in rage, "You dare call me that..."

Harry chuckled, "Disgusted of your own identity, huh?"

The figure did not responded to this.

"How are you here? How do you have such a control over your soul?" Questioned Voldemort.

Harry again laughed, "Oh!! Voldemort..."

Voldemort again shivered in anger. He was being mocked. He was being ignored.

He composed himself and then cackled in laughter, "Good for me, Harry Potter that you arrived here."

"With you not having access to your mindscape... your projection of soul would have not been able to enter this place," said Voldemort. "In that case, it was almost impossible for me to take over your body."

"But now that you are here, it would be so easy to crush your soul and take over your body."

He did not wait for any response from Harry. The blackish figure shook violently and a layer of black shadow emerged from it. It spread in all directions, covering the stone rugged surface of the mindscape.

Harry did not react immediately to this. The black shadow moved and it reached Harry's legs and started to climb over it.

Harry, at the moment, let out a deep sigh and every last shred of the black shadow vanished in an instant.

If the facial features of the figure had been clear, wide protruding eyes could have been spotted on its face.

Its voice trembled, "How?"

Harry chuckled, "Did you expect to have better control over mindscape than me?"

"Voldemort," said Harry. "Your time is over."

With this Harry raised and pointed his index finger forward. The greenish hue of his magic which was lingering in the air started to compress and formed a spear.

Harry then flicked his fingers sending the spear flying towards Voldemort. The spear pierced the Voldemort's figure.

He screamed and screeched in pain. The figure started to fade and in no time it completely disappeared.

Harry smiled and with another thought, he was back in the real world.

Harry stood up and walked near one of the wooden tools. He picked up the half cracked mirror from the tool and gazed his face into the mirror.

Unsurprisingly, the scar on his forehead lacked its previous lustre and dimmed. It would take few days and it would completely disappear.

"Now, all what I have to accomplish with priority," muttered Harry.

"First of all, I need to get out of this hell hole and find a suitable place for me," he continued. "Potter manor would be a good choice. Although, I cannot make much changes to the manor before I take up the Lordship, it would still be a fine arrangement."

"Secondly, to judge some suitable punishment for the Dursleys."

"Also, Bertha Jorkins would be killed by the rat around some time soon. I think, I can save her. She would be a good servant for me in the ministry."

"Ah!! Peter, how I wish to capture and torture around immediately but you must serve Voldemort so that my name comes out of the Goblet. Without it, I will need to wait for 4 years before I can take up the Black Lordship."

Harry continued his monologue and fine tuned some of his plans.

After sorting some of his plans, he decided to start his first act which was to claim the Potter manor and move in it.
