Harry Potter: The Lightning King

Harry used magical cooking to prepare a big feast since Hagrid is a half giant. He decided to make a couple of savory pies like Shepherd pie, Meat pie and Quiche. Then he went back to the living room where he saw Hagrid asking Buck a lot of questions. Harry decided to check Hagrid status.

Harry saw Hagrid bloodline and was shocked but then thought again, he did raise a dog name Fluffy.

"So, what brought you here today, Hagrid?" Ask Harry

"I was hoping to take you to Diagon Alley so I can get you a birthday gift," said Hagrid

"Sorry I just went there and I'm not planning to go back anytime soon," said Harry.

"Oh, that is too bad, how about I just sent the gift after I pick something out?" Ask Hagrid

"Sure, no problem" said Harry and after a while of waiting and small chats, the food is ready.

Dudley run downstairs went he smell food and Petunia came out the Potion Laboratory. Rin (Qilin) walk in from the backyard when he smells the food. Then Steve came from the basement and join everyone for dinner. Harry served everyone a plate but suddenly there was a flashed of light and then Fiona appeared in the room.

"Fiona, you supposed to be with Hermione. What are you doing here?" Ask Harry.

Fiona screech at Harry.

"Fine, after you eat, please go back to Hermione. Oh, and before that can you bring something to my master?" Then Harry hands Fiona a package.

Fiona just nodded and brought its food to eat next to Rin and Buck. Hagrid look at the magical beast around Harry and become jealous but when he ate Harry food, he forgot everything. Hagrid start to compete with Dudley on who can eat more. Hagrid won due to his bigger size and giant bloodline.

After finishing their meal, Hagrid thank Harry and ask if he could examine Fiona and Rin. Harry agreed while watching on the side. Hagrid walk up to them and reach out his hand to pet Rin. Rin look at Harry and saw him nod so he didn't do anything. Hagrid was excited when he pets the Qilin and start laughing like a child. Then he walks over to Fiona.

"Hagrid wait" said Harry but it was too late and Fiona release frost nova around herself.

But what surprised Harry was that Hagrid was unfazed by the frost and reached Fiona. He then pats her head while caressing her feathers. After playing with the magical beasts Hagrid check the time and realized it's getting late.

"I'm sorry I didn't get you anything for your birthday," said Hagrid

"It's not a problem, it the least I can do since you help me when I was a baby. I hope you enjoy your visit," said Harry.

"I definitely did, your food is amazing and i feel great after eating," said Hagrid.

Harry took out a notebook on magical cooking and hands it to Hagrid "since you like it so much here the spell on how to cook"

"No Harry, this is too valuable" Hagrid push the book back to Harry.

"It's fine, maybe if I come by to visit you, you can cook me a meal," said Harry.

After a few back and forth, Hagrid took the book and took out a necklace holding a vial. Harry felt something powerful coming from the vial.

"Harry, you been so kind to me since I got here, and I forgot your birthday gift. So, I'm going give you this vial, and this is my most prize possession" said Hagrid feeling a little reluctant.

"What is that?" Ask Harry.

"I got it from an injured magical beast that came to visit the forbidden forest. It was a big wolf with blue and white fur. I manage to bump into it in a cave. It was distrustful to me at first but after mending it's wounds, it become less hostile. The day I went to the cave the next day and the wolf is nowhere to be found but it left me this vial. I assumed it's some it's blood," said Hagrid.

"Do you know what kind of wolf it is?" Ask Harry while staring at the vial.

"No, I have been doing a lot of research but the closest I got was Dire Wolf," said Hagrid

"Can I see it?" Ask Harry.

Hagrid hands the vial to Harry and then Harry use Qilin Eye. What he saw shocked him to the point where he is speechless and fearful for Hagrid life.

Seeing Harry's shocked face, Hagrid ask "is everything alright? I don't think you need to be so surprised for Dire Wolf blood"

"Hagrid, are you sure you want to give this to me?" Questioned Harry and then he said "it's not a Dire Wolf"

Harry's eyes were glued on the vial. He feels something deep within him calling for him. The feeling got more intense now that he is holding the vial.

"Do you know what kind of wolf it is, Harry?" Ask Hagrid.

"For yours and mine safety, I think I shouldn't tell you," said Harry. He remembered Hagrid isn't good at keeping secrets.

"I see, it must be important to you so keep it. You need it more than I do," said Hagrid.

"Thank you, Hagrid. I promise I will pay you back in the future," said Harry.

"Harry, you already gave me enough" said Hagrid but he was cut off by Harry.

"It's not enough, if you have any requests in the future, I will do my best to fulfill it," said Harry.

"Alright Harry, I have to get going. I will see you at Hogwarts," said Hagrid.

Once Hagrid left Harry rushes into his room and took out the vial while looking at its description.
