Harry Potter: The Lightning King

Draco glared at Buck and threaten him "I will tell my father to get rid of you"

Buck let's out an evil smile and got closer to Draco. Harry stops Buck and then said "what are you going to tell him? You got taken down by a small weasel on his first day in Hogwarts?"

"Potter, you shouldn't associate yourself with him. You should know that some wizard family is better than others," said Draco.

"Better? Really? Because all I see was a little boy crying for his daddy," said Harry.

Then McGonagall return with Snape and then tap Draco on his shoulder, making Draco walk away.

"Dudley you will be following me," said Snape. Dudley broke away from his group and followed Snape into the hall.

"The rest of you follow me. We are ready for you" said McGonagall then she brought everyone into a hall.

In the hall, Harry saw rows of senior classmates sitting in 4 different tables. When he looks up, he saw the open sky and then hears Hermione explaining to everyone the trick behind it. Harry looks forward and saw Dumbledore and Hogwart's professors sitting down while eyeing the first years. He notices Petunia and Delila sitting next to each other while chatting. McGonagall brought the first years to a stool with a hat place on it.

McGonagall pick up the hat, then she took out a list and said "I will call your name, and I place the Sorting Hat on you. Then you will be sorted into your house. Hermione Granger"

McGonagall put the hat on Hermione's head and the hat shout "Gryffindor"

Then there was a cheer coming from the Gryffindor's table.

"Draco Malfoy," announces McGonagall

"Slytherin " said the Sorting Hat.

"Ron Weasley," said McGonagall

"Gryffindor," said the Sorting Hat.

"Cassandra Vole," said McGonagall

"Slytherin," said the Sorting Hat

Harry thought it was going to be his turn next, but McGonagall called a different name. So, he waited patiently. Harry heard names after names and the house they going to until he was the last one. Harry looks at Dumbledore who was smiling at him and gave him a shrugged. While Harry was waiting for his turn, the Weasley's twin was looking at Harry and start scratching their head.

"Hey Fred, doesn't that kid look familiar?" Ask George.

"Yeah, but I can't remember where he's from," said Fred.

"Oh, he is Harry Potter," said Ron

"Oh, I see, he's that Harry Potter," said Fred

"I swear we saw him from somewhere else" said George but was cut off by McGonagall announcement.

"Harry Potter"

Harry walked towards the stool and sat down. Then remembered his mission and asked, "Professor McGonagall, can I see that hat for a minute?"

McGonagall didn't answer Harry but look at Dumbledore and saw him gave an approving nod then she hands him the Sorting Hat.

When McGonagall hands Harry the hat, it asks "is there something you need from me?"

"Sorry about this" said Harry and then he dug his hand into the hat and start rummaging around, making the Sorting Hat panicked.

Everyone saw what Harry was doing and start whispering among themselves.

The Sorting Hat start screaming "Hey, what are you doing? Hahaha, that tickles. Ah hey stop, that is not a sword. Ohh let go, wrong sword. OK enough. someone help"

Finally, Harry pulled out a long pure silver sword, with rubies insert on the hilt and had Godric Gryffindor engrave on it.

Aye. First trial is complete: find Gryffindor's Sword . Rated C. Please start second trial: challenging Gryffindor's house...

"Oi Fred, that's the kid from last year. Do you remember? He fought and had an even match with Professor Snape" shout George.

Fred smacked his forehead and said "that's right, so he is the Savior"

Then Fred and George told everyone about what happen that day.

"Let's making get this trial over quick" thought Harry when he saw the second trial and then he looks at Gryffindor's table. Harry step forward with Gryffindor's sword then he charge the sword with his lightning power and activated Qilin Strength. He then thrust the sword into the ground releasing shocks of electricity around him.

"Those who are from Gryffindor, if you want to earn the right to inherited Godric Gryffindor's Legacy then draw this sword and they will have the right to duel me" declared Harry and then he released his Conqueror Haki slightly "remembered this isn't a game, you all have one week"

Then there was a sound of stomping, but nobody felt the rumbling. The stomping got louder until everyone saw lines of ghosts clad in armor including Almost Headless Nick and The Bloody Baron. They marched through the walls then stop in front of Harry.

The scene scared all the first years except for Cassandra, and Hermione who was ready for a battle. While some of the upperclassmen was confused by the ghosts' actions. The ghost all draws their sword and gave a knight salute.

"WELCOME BACK YOUNG KING" Saluted the Ghosts.

Everyone saw the scene in awe and Dumbledore has a bright smile but then he cleared his throat.

"Harry, you should of chose a better time but what is done is done. Nick, can you take all the ghosts back" ask Dumbledore. Almost Headless Nick gave Dumbledore a nod and took all the ghost back.

Dumbledore face Harry and said "let's continue the sorting ceremony"

Harry nodded then went back to the stool and puts on the Sorting Hat.

"Your performance is worthy of Slytherin but your mind wants to go Gryffindor. Since you accept Gryffindor's trial..." said the Sorting Hat pause for a second then shout "Gryffindor"

The Gryffindor table cheer while the other tables become gloomy. Harry walks over to Gryffindor's table and sat next to Hermione but Ron rushes over to Harry side with his brothers and other students. They were bombarding Harry with a lot of questions.

"What is this legacy?"

"Is it true you had a duel with Professor Snape?"

"Is it true you defeated the Dark Lord?"

"Are you single?"

More and more questions were asked until Dumbledore tapped his glass to get everyone attention.
