Harry Potter: Toji Potter

Chapter 121: Here we go again

The Kurosaki residence was unusually peaceful for once, with Harry, Ichigo, Chad, Uryu, and Orihime lounging in Ichigo's room. The sunlight streamed through the open window, and the group was enjoying some snacks and easy conversation.

"Hey, Ichigo," Orihime said between bites of a particularly elaborate sandwich, "do you ever think about how quiet things have been lately? It's kind of nice."

Ichigo leaned back in his chair, nodding. "Yeah, it's been good. For once, no one's trying to destroy the world or take my powers."

Harry chuckled, lounging on Ichigo's bed. "Don't get too comfortable, Kurosaki. Peace never lasts long."

As if on cue, the window slammed open, and a figure landed squarely on Ichigo's bed.

The man stood tall and arrogant, his long coat billowing dramatically despite the lack of wind. His sharp features and piercing gaze screamed "self-important antagonist." He raised a hand, opening his mouth to speak.

"I am—"

"Get off my bed," Ichigo interrupted, his voice flat and utterly unimpressed.

The man blinked, his dramatic entrance completely deflated. "Excuse me? Do you know who I—"

"I don't care who you are," Ichigo shot back, standing up and pointing at the man. "I just cleaned that bed, and you're standing on it with your dirty shoes. So. Get. Off."

The room fell silent for a moment before Harry burst out laughing. "Oh, this is going to be good."

The intruder, thoroughly unamused by Ichigo's attitude, crossed his arms. "I am here to—"

He didn't get to finish.

Ichigo, Harry, Chad, Uryu, and Orihime exchanged a single glance, and a mischievous grin spread across their faces. Without a word, they moved as one, each delivering a perfectly synchronized kick to the man's body.

The force of the combined attack was nothing short of catastrophic. The man was launched through the open window like a rocket, his scream echoing through the neighborhood as he disappeared into the distance.

"Good teamwork," Harry said, dusting off his hands.

"Thanks," Ichigo replied, cracking his knuckles.

Orihime giggled, covering her mouth. "He really flew, didn't he?"

Uryu adjusted his glasses. "I'd estimate at least two kilometers."

Chad nodded solemnly. "Maybe three."

As the group peeked out the window, they saw the man crash into a distant park, creating a small crater upon impact.

"We're not done with him," Ichigo declared, leaping out of the window.

"Agreed," Harry said, following suit.

Orihime and Chad exchanged excited glances before jumping after them. Uryu sighed, muttering something about "juvenile behavior," but even he couldn't resist joining in.

By the time the group arrived at the park, the man was pulling himself out of the crater, groaning in pain. His dramatic coat was tattered, and his once-pristine boots were scuffed beyond repair.

"You… you dare attack me without knowing who I am?" he wheezed, glaring at them.

"Yeah," Ichigo replied casually. "That's exactly what we did."

Harry smirked, stepping forward. "You were standing on his bed, mate. That's grounds for immediate retaliation."

The man's eyes widened. "You—do you even know my power?"

"Do you know ours?" Chad asked, cracking his neck.

Orihime raised a hand, a bright smile on her face. "Should we kick him again?"

"Absolutely," Ichigo said.

Before the man could respond, the group descended on him once more, delivering a second round of perfectly timed kicks that sent him careening further into the horizon.

As they walked back to the Kurosaki household, Orihime hummed cheerfully. "Do you think he'll come back?"

"If he's smart, he won't," Harry said, his tone amused.

Ichigo sighed, shaking his head. "I just hope he didn't ruin my bed."

When they finally returned to Ichigo's room, they found the bed intact, though Harry had already sprawled across it, grinning.

"You know," Harry said, propping himself up on one elbow, "if more enemies were like that guy, this would be a much more entertaining life."

"Yeah," Ichigo replied, flopping into his chair. "As long as they stay away from my bed."

The group burst out laughing, their camaraderie filling the room with warmth.

Somewhere in the distance, the intruder groaned in pain, vowing vengeance. But for now, all was peaceful in Karakura.

The hidden lair of the Wandenreich, cloaked in shadows and cold, oppressive light, was silent as Asguiaro Ebern entered, his footsteps echoing through the grand, austere hall. The walls gleamed with Quincy crosses, their pristine silver catching the faint glow of the dimly lit space. At the far end of the room sat Yhwach, his presence dominating, his aura suffocating, as he gazed down from his throne.

Ebern knelt immediately, his head bowed low, his body trembling. The weight of Yhwach's reiatsu pressed against him like an unyielding tide, making it difficult to even breathe.

"My Majesty," Ebern began, his voice shaking, "I have returned to report my findings."

Yhwach did not respond immediately. Instead, his eyes bore into Ebern, dark and unrelenting. The silence was deafening, and the room seemed to grow colder with every passing second.

"I... I encountered Kurosaki Ichigo, as you commanded," Ebern stammered, sweat beading on his forehead. "I tested his strength, as you desired. But... he is far more powerful than we anticipated."

Still, Yhwach remained silent, his gaze unflinching.

Ebern swallowed hard and continued. "And there was another—Harry Potter. His abilities are... beyond comprehension. He—he overwhelmed me with ease. Their combined might was insurmountable. I could not—"

"You could not?" Yhwach's voice finally broke the silence, low and thunderous. Each word was a hammer blow to Ebern's spirit.

Ebern flinched, his forehead pressing against the cold floor. "Forgive me, my Majesty! I was unprepared for their power! I swear, I—"

"Enough."

The single word froze Ebern in place. Yhwach's reiatsu surged, filling the room with an unbearable pressure. The air crackled with energy, and the Quincy soldiers standing guard along the walls shifted uneasily, their faces pale.

"You speak of excuses," Yhwach said, his tone devoid of emotion. "I sent you to gauge the strength of Kurosaki Ichigo and return with useful information. Instead, you return with failure. You have shown me your incompetence, Ebern."

"My Majesty, please!" Ebern begged, his voice breaking. "I—"

Before he could finish, Yhwach raised his hand, and a thin blade of reishi formed in his palm. He moved with terrifying speed, appearing before Ebern in an instant. The blade plunged into Ebern's chest, piercing his heart with ruthless precision.

Ebern gasped, his eyes wide with shock and pain. "My... Majesty..."

Yhwach stared down at him, his expression cold. "Failure is not tolerated in my presence. You have served your purpose."

With a flick of his wrist, Yhwach withdrew the blade, and Ebern's body crumpled to the ground, lifeless.

Yhwach turned to his gathered subordinates, his voice commanding and unwavering.

"Let this be a lesson to all of you. Failure is death. I will not suffer weakness in my army. Prepare yourselves, for the war with Soul Society approaches. Kurosaki Ichigo and Harry Potter will fall, just as Ebern has fallen."

The Quincies bowed in unison, their voices echoing in the hall. "Yes, Your Majesty!"

Yhwach returned to his throne, his gaze piercing and resolute. The shadows of the Wandenreich loomed ever darker, the promise of war thick in the air.
