Chapter 1: Chapter 01 — Trapped in the Room with Lisa 01
Perjaka stood bewildered, staring at the simple room that was starkly different from his usual surroundings. The room contained only a bed, a small wooden table with an iPad placed in the middle, and a basic work desk. However, his eyes were fixed on someone who couldn't possibly be real.
The person before him was an extraordinarily beautiful woman, a captivating figure with enchanting green eyes and wavy, shoulder-length purple hair that framed her face perfectly. She wore a distinctive witch-like hat adorned with a rose and a sophisticated outfit that combined elements of elegance and mystery. Her purple dress accentuated her slender figure, and her confident, charming demeanor was both alluring and intimidating.
Because the woman bore an uncanny resemblance to someone he was very familiar with, not that Perjaka knew her personally. It was because she looked remarkably like a character from the gacha game he played: Lisa from Genshin Impact. The realization hit him like a bolt of lightning, leaving him even more bewildered. How could a fictional character come to life and be standing right in front of him?
"Ara, what happened— Wait, who are you? Why are you in my room?" Lisa instantly reacted to the presence of another person in the room. She immediately went on alert, and Perjaka could feel the tension in the air. He knew that if he did anything suspicious, Lisa could instantly pull out her weapon as a Vision user.
Lisa's eyes narrowed as she assessed the situation, her hand subtly drifting towards the catalyst she carried. Perjaka felt a bead of sweat form on his forehead, realizing just how precarious his position was. The room seemed to vibrate with Lisa's latent power, ready to be unleashed at any moment.
"Wait— Wait, please! I don't understand what happened, why I'm here, or how you got here!" Perjaka exclaimed, trying to keep his distance from Lisa. He backed away until he stood on the opposite side of the room, a bit far from her.
Perjaka was utterly confused about what had happened. The last thing he remembered was preparing to go to sleep. No, he distinctly recalled falling asleep after scrolling through social media while lying on his bed—his usual routine before drifting off. Yeah, the last thing Perjaka remembered was that he was about to sleep, so this could have been a dream he had. However, given the warning look from Lisa, who was a skilled fighter and a Vision user, he knew it was better not to act stupidly or suspiciously. In the end, there was a need for him to be careful about the situation.
"Ah, my name is Perjaka, by the way," he added in response to her question.
"Perjaka, huh— What a weird name? Hm— This room? Where is this?" Lisa looked around and realized that she was in a room she did not recognize. She threw the question to Perjaka, who answered with a shake of his head.
"I'm sorry, but I don't know anything. I feel like I went to sleep and suddenly I was in this room? This may be just a dream—" Perjaka answered as honestly as he could, his voice trembling slightly.
"Dream, huh— Is that so?" Lisa continued to look suspiciously at Perjaka, her eyes narrowing slightly as she tried to make sense of the situation. Her posture remained tense, ready to react if necessary.
"Yeah, what about you? Who are you anyway?" Perjaka knew that the woman in front of him was most likely Lisa from Genshin Impact. However, it would be strange if he revealed that knowledge, so he decided to ask a basic question instead. He hoped that playing along would keep things calm.
Lisa hesitated for a moment before responding, "I am Lisa, a librarian from Mondstadt. But this place...it's nothing like my room. It's almost like we've been transported here for some unknown reason." She looked around the room again, her expression softening just a bit as she tried to piece together the puzzle.
"Really, nice to meet you— So you also experienced almost the same thing as me. Huh—" Perjaka said, trying to keep his voice steady despite the bewildering situation. He managed a small, nervous smile, hoping to ease the tension.
"Yeah, the last thing I remember is myself going to bed. And suddenly, I found myself in this place, even my clothes have changed from pajamas to formal wear like this," Lisa replied, her expression thoughtful as she pondered the situation.
Perjaka, who was used to seeing Lisa in her signature in-game appearance—her purple witch-like hat adorned with a rose, a sophisticated purple dress that accentuated her slender figure, and elegant thigh-high boots—could only reply with, "Wait, what do I look like?"
"Hm, weird clothes?" Lisa, now feeling a little more at ease, looked closely at Perjaka and examined the clothes he was wearing. Perjaka glanced down at himself and realized he was wearing modern clothing: a casual t-shirt with a graphic design, a pair of comfortable jeans, and sneakers—an attire that was rare and unfamiliar in the world of Teyvat.
Due to all the strange things happening, Perjaka had not had a chance to check his body's condition, especially when he met Lisa like this. Now, after their conversation, he began to look at his own body. He didn't look much different from his usual appearance, but there was something slightly cartoonish about him that gave a nicer, more appealing feeling.
He noticed his appearance: a man in his thirties, wearing glasses, with a slightly shorter stature and a heavier build. He had tan skin and short black hair. His facial features were sharp but friendly, and his eyes held a mixture of curiosity and confusion as he took in the situation.

He didn't look much different from his usual appearance, but there was something slightly cartoonish about him that gave a nicer, more appealing feeling.
He noticed his appearance: a man in his mid-twenties, wearing glasses, with a slightly shorter stature and a heavier build. Perjaka had tan skin and short black hair. His facial features were sharp but friendly, and his eyes held a mixture of curiosity and confusion as he took in the situation. Despite the oddity of the situation, his familiar face brought him a small sense of comfort.
He was just a bit let down, given that he was together with a Genshin character. He had hoped he might transform into a more handsome version of himself, befitting the vibrant and heroic figures from the game. Instead, he seemed to be an avatar of his usual self, complete with all his imperfections. The realization was bittersweet—while it was reassuring to retain his identity, it also brought a pang of disappointment. Perjaka couldn't help but wonder if there was more to this experience than met the eye.
Meanwhile, Lisa was focused on looking around the room and commented, "More than this, this room is also very strange."
Unlike the traditional wooden rooms in Mondstadt, the room that Lisa and Perjaka found themselves in was made of thick white walls and had vinyl flooring with a mixed pattern of white and gray. The minimalist and modern design was a stark contrast to what Lisa was accustomed to. Her eyes especially lingered on the iPad placed in the middle of the small wooden table, a device that seemed entirely foreign to her.
Curious, Lisa approached the table and gently touched the iPad, her fingers grazing its smooth surface. "What is this peculiar object?" she wondered aloud, her voice tinged with both curiosity and caution. The device's sleek design and shiny screen fascinated her, but she was unsure of its purpose.
Perjaka noticed her interest and said, "That's an iPad. It's a device used for communication, entertainment, and accessing information. It's quite common where I come from."
Lisa looked intrigued, tilting her head as she studied the device. "Communication, entertainment, and information... It sounds like it holds a lot of power in such a small form," she mused. "Our world has vision holders and ancient tomes, but this... this is something entirely different," she added, her eyes gleaming with curiosity.
"So you know this thing? So this is really not your room or something?" she asked while looking at the bright screen of the iPad.
"Yeah, I know about iPads. But I swear, I don't have this kind of room. I don't own an iPad either, but I do have a computer," Perjaka answered honestly, shaking his head slightly. He looked around the room and found that it was just a typical modern room you could find anywhere. The white walls, the vinyl flooring, and the minimalist design from furniture were all familiar to him,
"But this room is something that people like me could be familiar with," Perjaka continued.
Lisa, still studying the iPad, turned her attention back to Perjaka. "Okay, so you're familiar with this room? Do you know how to get out of here?" she asked, her eyes scanning the surroundings for any possible exits.
Perjaka shook his head. "Unfortunately, no. I've never been here before, so I'm as clueless as you are about how to leave this place. The door seems to be the only way out, but I haven't tried it yet."
Lisa approached the door, her hand hovering over the handle. "Well, there's only one way to find out." She hesitated for a moment, then turned the handle and pushed the door open cautiously, but to no avail. The door remained firmly shut, as if it were locked from the outside.
