Chapter 182: Finally Found Her!

Chapter 182 - Finally Found Her!

"Is there any suitable goddess?" Mahiro asked.

"There is indeed one," Eina said with a cheerful smile.

"I don't know where she lives, but she has often come to the guild recently, and it seems like she's looking for suitable adventurers to join her Familia," Eina explained.

She glanced out the window and added, "At this time, she may have already appeared."

"If we're lucky, you should be able to meet her."

"Mahiro, come with me."

Eina was very straightforward, standing up and preparing to take Mahiro to find the goddess.

After walking out of the guild's reception room, Eina spoke to a girl at the counter.

She was a girl with short pink hair.

Mahiro thought she looked familiar and assumed she was one of the known characters, but he couldn't remember her name.

"Okay, okay, leave it to me. You can go out with this handsome boy on a date."

The pink-haired girl waved her hand generously, looking back and forth between Mahiro and Eina with a mischievous smile.

"It's not a date; it's something I need to do, and Mahiro is just an adventurer I'm in charge of," Eina snapped, glaring at the girl.

"Eina! I've never seen you care so much about other adventurers," the girl teased.

"Then I'll go out first. If any adventurer I'm in charge of comes by, you can help me receive them," Eina said, pretending to be calm, and gave the girl aka Misha Flott a pointed look.

"Let's go, Mahiro."

Eina smiled awkwardly at Mahiro.

"Okay, sorry to trouble you," Mahiro said gratefully as they left the guild.

The streets outside the guild were bustling with adventurers, just as they had been when Mahiro arrived.

"I remember seeing her around here yesterday... where..."

Eina, more attentive than Mahiro, led the way, constantly scanning the crowd to find their target.

"Found it!"

Eina exclaimed after a brief search in the square.

"Really?" Mahiro followed Eina's gaze, spotting a small figure.

"Is it really her?"

The familiar outfit and double ponytails along with those assets confirmed it—this was Hestia, the goddess Mahiro had hoped for.

When Eina first mentioned, Mahiro had suspected the goddess might be Hestia, but he didn't want to reveal his guess too soon, not wanting to be disappointed.

Now that he had confirmed it, his expectations weren't in vain.

"Follow me, Mahiro."

Eina was even more excited than Mahiro, practically dragging him toward Hestia.

Hestia was inviting adventurers to join her Familia in a busy spot filled with adventurers.

Each time she came, Hestia was filled with confidence, convinced she could find someone willing to join her Familia.

She imagined her children growing step by step under her leadership, and living a joyful life together.

But every time, the harsh reality shattered her dreams.

Whenever Hestia invited adventurers to join her Familia, they would bombard her with questions about the Familia's location, population, finances, and plans, making her doubt her own life.

Then, the adventurer would always refuse without hesitation.

"Failed again..."

Hestia looked disappointedly at the adventurer who had turned and left without a second glance.

Her head hung low, shoulders slouched, and even her once perky ponytails now drooped lifelessly.

"How many times is this?"

Hestia sighed, knowing that today would likely be another fruitless day.

She had only recently descended to the lower world, staying at her friend Hephaestus' place.

But after nearly three months, Hephaestus couldn't stand it anymore and gave her an ultimatum.

'Hestia, I can't let you stay in my place like this anymore!'

'Do you even look like a goddess? I've done everything I can for you.'

'Starting today, you need to go out and form your own Familia!'

Hephaestus' furious expression was burned into Hestia's memory, making her feel guilty, as though she had done something wrong.

But why had Hestia wanted to find Familia members in the first place?

While staying at Hephaestus' place, Hestia had secretly ventured out to find adventurers willing to join her Familia.

But every time, she was ruthlessly rejected.

After experiencing failure time and time again, Hestia had withdrawn into herself.

Just like when she was in Heaven, she had become a homebody.

"If I can't find any members, will have to leave Orario?" Hestia thought, feeling depressed.

But when she remembered Loki's mocking taunts when she first descended, Hestia became determined.

"Come on, Hestia. You'll definitely find someone who will join your Familia!" she muttered to herself, though her voice lacked confidence.

Sighing, Hestia lowered her head and continued walking, trying to adjust her mood.

Ready to keep pushing forward in search of adventurers.

"Eina, are you sure this is a virgin goddess?"

Suddenly, a voice sounded in Hestia's ear.
