Chapter 7: Chapter 7: The Exorcist and Dhampir
[3rd POV]
As it turns out, using the King Piece when at High Class, was NOT a fun experience...at all. It was not only extremely painful, but also straining on her body, incredibly so. Thankfully, she hadn't waited until she was in Ultimate Class, otherwise she would have accidentally off'd herself.
Her power had been catapulted by a drastic amount thanks to this piece though, going from around Mid-High class to Low Ultimate Class. The difference between the two levels was absolutely massive, so she wasn't too surprised that it only just barely got her to that level, and that was her own estimate, so she wasn't even entirely sure.
As it stands, Morgan was stronger than everyone in her peerage besides Ingvild who was still beyond her by a good bit.
Slowly getting to her feet groggily, Morgan let out a soft sigh 'That fucking sucked' Morgan thought, as she got up, before blinking as her Fanon Maker activated, most likely due to her becoming an Ultimate Class devil.
[Charisma | Clan Trait - Charisma allows a user to drag an opponent into their direction like a vacuum would, allowing them to attack at a closer range, as well as boosting their own speed since they also have the ability to "drag" themselves towards it. The weakness of this ability is that ranged attacks can turn Charisma can be turned against the user, dragging the ranged attack towards themselves. Created by NecroGodYami]
The ability itself was...underwhelming, but she could imagine some uses for it. As she could use it to massively increase her speed, and catch her opponents off guard. But it was also a rather weak ability compared to what she could have gotten, so she couldn't really feel very happy about it.
Seeing as her assimilation of the King Piece was over with, and she had gotten her new ability (a rather weak one) Morgan decided to get back outside, seeing as it had been roughly 3 hours since she began, inwardly hoping her beloved peerage wasn't too angry with her over disappearing for three hours.
Spoiler alert, they were.

[1...Year....Later]
"...I fucking hate politics" A growl escaped a slightly older Morgan.
A year had passed since she had assimilated her king piece, a year that a LOT had happened during. A year of growth, a year of developing herself, her peerage, and her family.
During this year, she and her peerage had continued their training, training that had continued to grow more and more as they all grew stronger and stronger.
She had long since surpassed her previous strength limits, after dozens of hours of constant training with her peerage, she had gotten to an incredible 3000 pounds on each weight with 5x gravity, for a massive 15,000 pounds, which was around 7.5 tons.
Valiana was at around 600 with 3x gravity. Ingvild was at 450 with 2x, Issei was at 350 with 2x, and Kuroka was at 500 with 2x. They hadn't grown their physical strength too much, as most of them had been focusing a lot more on the magical and demonic side of things. With Kuroka focusing entirely on her youjutsu, touki, and her Yokai said.
Issei and Valiana had both proven to have an incredible rivalry, one that caused them both to grow by leaps and bounds, to the point that Issei had long since reached Balance Breaker, and was now working on mastering Juggernaut Overdrive, which they could only do thanks to their Demonic Energy and their own willpower. Said rivalry had pushed Valiana to around Low Ultimate Class, with Issei being at around Mid High class and was rapidly growing.
Ingvild had continued to grow monstrously in her pursuit of magic and mastering her own sacred gear, and while she hadn't grown her own power too much, she had far more variety in terms of magical attacks and abilities. She was still the strongest in the peerage, being at around Peak Ultimate Class to nearly Low Satan Class (which is roughly Grayfia's level).
Kuroka's growth was mostly in Youjutsu, Senjutsu, and Touki. The latter was learned to a high level due to Morgan's insistence, as she didn't want her to be so focused on magic. None of her peerage would be glass cannon, not on her watch.
Morgan's own growth had been...simply monstrous. As thanks to her King Piece, she had already been shot up to the second strongest in her peerage, but over the rest of this year, she had only continued to grow. Most notably, in her clan traits and sacred gears.
She found that the Charisma trait had been...quite useful. As she found a way to apply "Charisma" to other areas, objects, and even people. Through this, she could then use them as her personal dummies, making ranged attacks fly towards them instead of her, this was done primarily through her demonic energy, and "Applying" it onto other people. However, this little technique wasn't something she could simply do as certain people could sense, and stop this from happening.
She had recently overcome the weakness of Atomic Breakdown, which was that she grew weaker from the magical radiation it would admit. She had only grown immune to it after she subjected herself to it's radiation for several hours every day for an entire year. An arduous and annoying process, but an important one, and a needed one.
Air Stigmata had naturally been grown as well, and she had mostly been focusing on growing her control over weather. It was...slow going so far, but it was still progressing thankfully.
Her development wasn't just limited to her peerage and personal power however, as she had continued to grow her own family, political power, and her connection to the Sitri family.
After she had sold the Sitri's a few more rounds of potions, they had officially come to her with a rather...impressive offer.
In essence, it was to become the primary (not only) buyers of new potions she would develop, getting them earlier than anyone else. In return, they gave her a percentage of the money they made from their hospitals that said potions were sold in, and put her into connection with a real estate broker, where she was then able to buy herself a facility where she could have more potions produced.
Through this, a few dozen contracts, and the Sitri's providing protection to the facilities, Morgan was officially mass producing her own potions, and now had an official and public Potions Business. One that even had a few stores in a few cities of the Underworld.
With this, she had rapidly been gaining more and more wealth, with little to no crime being involved with her family. This was almost entirely due to the contracts that basically made it so that if they even tried to betray her, then they'd have all their power and memories stripped, basically becoming a vegetable, and all of it would then be funnelled to Morgan herself.
These contracts also made it next to impossible to tell others of the potions, or read their minds. Not that anyone would do that in the first place, as no reasonable devil would dare gain the wrath of the Sitri's and Serafall Leviathan. Not that they even knew who owned the business in the first place, as it was under a fake name, mostly to keep the Devil council off her back.
Aside from her growing potions business that was continuing to grow more and more, with her selling a variety of potions, Morgan was also continuing to do contracts alongside her peerage.
She had contracted over 100 people at this point, with more and more magical individuals taking part. And most notably, she had gotten a total of 2 sacred gear users so far. One of them had Mirror Alice and the other had Gravity Jail.
She had gotten Gravity Jail from the man, after healing his mother of a rather nasty disease, and gave it to Kuroka who had been using it splendidly. Mirror Alice on the other hand, had stayed with the woman who had it, as she didn't really have anyone to give it to.
Her relationship with her peerage had recently reached a rather...interesting level, after they had accidentally walked in on her "Relieving" herself. In which they got a clear and full sight of her hardened and massive member. Which mostly involved blushes, stuttering, and a low mewl from Kuroka at the sight. Sadly they didn't do anything, not yet at least.
Her relationship with Serafall had continued, with her going to a few more conventions, and had dressed up as a "Dark Magical Girl" which involved a tight fitting suit that showed off her well developed abs, which she was pretty sure Serafall had drooled at, literally.
But it was 3 months after getting the King Piece when Morgan had found a rather interesting individual, and her newest peerage member, her first knight.

[9 Months ago, Flashback]
Morgan had been contracted by a nice older woman to visit a nearby church, after she heard a rather nasty rumor about kids being harmed and sounds of screaming. A nasty rumor that Morgan didn't really believe, but she couldn't say no to the old granny who had asked this of her.
Walking to the large rundown church, Morgan stopped as she sensed something inside, something...powerful.
"This...is going to be dangerous" Morgan muttered as she slowly opened the door to the church, and almost immediately was forced to dodge as a light bullet flew past her. Turning her head, she was faced to face with roughly a dozen stray exorcist, and an attractive teen who was chained to a cross, lash marks covering her nearly nude body, as purple colored fire flared around her.
'...What the fuck? Isn't that Lint? As in, the host of Incinerate Anthem?' Morgan thought with a frown, as she wondered what was happening. As the girl wasn't even supposed to have it yet, instead it was supposed to be held by a girl named Walpurga, who was a stray magician, instead, Lint had it.
'This...I knew that canon wouldn't be the same due to my existence, but I can't say I was expecting this' Morgan thought with a frown as demonic circles formed around her, and almost immediately bolts of lightning flew and struck the group of weak exorcists. None of them were a threat to her, except for the girl herself. A girl who was writhing in pain as she struggled against her bindings.
From what she remembered about the girl, she was basically a "Sibling" of Freed Sellzen's, and was a test tube baby made from the blood of Sigurd, in an attempt to create someone who could wield Gram. She was also basically the twin sister of Freed Sellzen, the psychopathic rogue exorcist.
The fact that she was trapped by these exorcists was a bit concerning, but Morgan expected that there was a lot more than just these ones originally, and there probably wasn't just exorcists involved.
Walking closer to the girl, she flinched slightly as the holy flames of incinerate anthem surged towards her, before flicking her wrist as the chains surrounding her shattered from pure demonic energy. The second they did, the girl fell to the ground, only to be caught by Morgan who looked down to the unconscious girl in her arms.
"T-The k-kids-" "It's alright, I'll help them. For now, just rest, okay?" Morgan said softly as Lint soon fell limp in her arms, falling unconscious as Morgan growled in annoyance.
"The church and their fucking rogue exorcists are growing annoying" Morgan growled out, as she had run into a lot of these rogue members, even more than stray devils, and there were a LOT of stray devils. Her peerage had been given some contracts by Serafall herself to wipe them out, getting paid a pretty penny to kill the ones no one else would.
Placing the girl softly onto the ground, Morgan walked off, ready to hunt some more exorcists, and hopefully save some children.

[Flashback End]
After that, Morgan had given the girl the usual "I saved you, but I don't expect you to join me" speech she had given every time, and similarly to Valiana and Ingvild, the girl joined her. Mostly because she didn't have much of a choice, as she was deemed as a Rogue Exorcist by the church, after she had found out about some of their more...inhuman experiments involving children.
And thus, she had gotten her 5th peerage member, and her first knight. As the girl was an excellent swordsman, roughly on par with the canon Xenovia and Kiba, and it was still years before they got to that level, giving her more than enough time to far surpass them.
Naturally, this had given her yet another fanon maker use, and a new sacred gear.
[Enigma Strike | Sacred Gear - Unlike what many think, if used correctly, this Sacred Gear can become awfully useful. Enigma Strike has the ability to replicate its wielder's actions; meaning that if they, for example, throw a punch at an enemy, a second one, created by the Sacred Gear will be sent from a different angle but in the same direction.
This Sacred Gear works as following: The wielder decides to perform an action, Action starts, Sacred Gear confirms action and begins to make a replica, Action ends, Sacred Gear uses replica, performing the action once again.
This means that, even if a strike doesn't connects, the Sacred Gear can still hit the enemy, given that the replication does not takes in account if the action in question succeed or not. The replica can also extend farther away than the user originally could, making it very tricky and dangerous if someone is not careful enough. Enigma Strike appears in the wielder's eyes, as a ring of sorts around the iris. It creates a phantom replica of whatever object/part of the body/etc. was used to perform an action, in order to replicate it, although it disappears once the action ends. The phantom replicas appear around the wielder's body]
The sacred gear by itself was...pretty weak. But combining it with her other abilities? And it was genuinely one of the best sacred gears she had at the moment. As it even was able to replicate her blade Secace, allowing her to attack twice with one strike, with only a bit of stamina being taken. And the better sacred gears and weapons she got, the better the combinations. The only weakness being her own stamina, which she had begun training the second she gained access to it.
With Lint in her peerage, Morgan had found that Incernate Anthem had...not been fond of her being a devil, a fact that had caused some serious damage to Lint herself, and forced her to push forward with her plans, leading to a rather difficult situation the next month. A situation that led to her breaking into the dungeons of an ancient castle, taking away a vampire princess, and gaining her 3rd pawn.

[Flashback, 8 months earlier]
"Are you alright, Lint?" Morgan asked as her, Lint, and Kuroka trekked through the mountains of Romania, where she had found out that the Tepes castle was, and Valerie Tepes was held.
"Y-yeah, my sacred gear is just being a brat right now" Lint replied with a grunt, feeling the burning of incinerate anthem. It was an avatar type sacred gear, meaning it had it's own sentience, and could change hosts on it's own. It didn't normally do this, and only did it if the host really fucked up. But with Lint being a devil hosting such a sacred gear, it was having some rather...nasty side effects, side effects that only the Sephiroth Graal of Valerie could help with.
Her Longinus was a subspecies at the moment, coming in the form of three separate holy grails, each with their own abilities. One was able to heal, one was able to resurrect, one could reduce weaknesses, and she even had the ability to reverse the aging of people, bringing them back to their youth. The downside was the fact that it essentially told the user how life and souls are made, and also taking in the mind and concept of death, living, and other similar things when using the gear. This naturally was not healthy for the mind or soul, leading to some serious side effects if the gear is overused. The gear had some other abilities that were quite interesting, like the ability to look into the principles of life, using that to then find the location of others, and could even summon and control souls.
Morgan was mostly interested in its ability to heal and reduce the weakness of others, so that Incinerate anthem won't accidentally kill Lint. That, and having a higher resistance to Light and holy elements would be very useful, but she wouldn't be forcing Valerie into that sort of thing.
"Are you up for breaking into the castle? Or should I just go alone?" Morgan asked, looking at the girl, she didn't want her knight to hurt herself by being here.
"Yeah, yeah. I can do it, just...let's just get this done quickly, please?" Lint said, as Morgan nodded before turning to Kuroka.
"Can you get through the wards?" Morgan asked the kitten, she could do it herself, but it would be a lot less..inconspicuous, as Kuroka was genuinely incredibly skilled when it came to manipulating space, wards, and other areas like that.
"Mmhmm, it'll be easy peasy. I hope I get a thorough reward later, master~" Kuroka purred as Morgan let out a sigh. Kuroka just pouted at her King's lack of reaction, before the three teleported off, breaking directly through the wards stealthily.
Reappearing in a rather dark room, Morgan looked around 'So these are the dungeons...about as I expected' Morgan thought, glancing at the dust and grime that caked the area, before slowly turning as she found the reason they were here. Valerie Tepes laying against the wall, dirty and sleeping silently. But even with the dirt on her form, she was...gorgeous.
Looking at the unconscious Dhampir princess, Morgan glanced at Kuroka and nodded, as the cat shattered the locks surrounding the cell.
"H-huh?" Valerie muttered as she rubbed her eyes, and looked up in confusion.
"Who-" "I'm here to break you out, Miss Valerie" Morgan softly said as she lifted the weak girl into a princess carry, Lint and Kuroka watching closely for any vampires coming to check in.
"W-who are you?" Valerie asked softly, coughing slightly as if she hadn't drunk anything in forever. Seeing this, Morgan looked the girl in the eye before smiling as she moved her neck slightly.
"Go ahead and feed, Valerie. We'll speak after you're full and we're out of this shithole" Morgan replied, as Valerie eyed her neck, glancing between it and Morgan's kind smile.
Leaning in, Valerie softly bit on her neck and began to suckle on it, a soft moan escaping the adorable vampire as she began to drink Morgan's blood, blood that she found to be absolutely delicious. Morgan's eyebrow twitched slightly as the vampire moaned and sucked on her neck.
"Nya~ Seems you're going to have another woman gunning for your affection, master~" Kuroka giggled as she noticed Valerie happily drinking Morgan's blood.
Morgan just rolled her eyes at her kitten before stopping as they heard loud stomping "As amusing as the idea of seeing their reaction to her disappearance is, I believe it's time we get the hell out of here" Morgan said, as she'd rather not deal with an army of vampires, many of which are high class to even Ultimate Class.
Hearing this, Kuroka nodded seriously, as a demonic circle formed under them, and they were whisked away, with the vampires entering the dungeon moments later, only to see that their most powerful weapon was gone.

[Flashback End]
Turns out, Morgan's charisma was much more monstrous than she had ever expected. As Valerie had also joined her a couple of days later, after a lot of rest, and contemplation. And a lot of feeding, a LOT of feeding. To the point that Morgan was getting annoyingly horny whenever the vampire would feed on her.
It was her joining that allowed them to not only massively reduce their weakness to light, but to also get rid of the side effects that Lint was undergoing. Naturally they had to do this weeks apart to not harm Valerie, but it was done nonetheless. And with that, Morgan got a new vampire who was absolutely addicted to her blood, and grew to very much enjoy climbing onto her lap, and sucking on her blood while unknowingly grinding against her.
The fact that she was getting peerage members so easily was NOT lost on Morgan, and confused the living hell out of her. But she also came to the conclusion that it was due to two things. One, Beauty Personified, the ability she had gotten in the very beginning. And two, all the members she has recruited have been in perilous situations, or didn't have any other options that were better.
It was mostly her luck that had led her to this, luck that had led to her getting yet another sacred gear from recruiting Valerie.
[Devour the End | Sacred Gear - Devour The End allows the user to manipulate shadows and darkness much like how Apophis can. The user can also hide in shadows, use them as weapons or armors and can make constructs out of shadows in darkness. The user could possibly dissolve the opponent much like the owner of the ability could. If the user has enough control they could possibly use Apophis's Dark Field Barriers. A side effect of the Sacred Gear is that it makes the user stronger in darker areas. A weakness of this Sacred Gear is that the user becomes weak towards Dragon slaying weapons, magics and curses. Created by Vermillion King of Mischief]
A very powerful sacred gear, and one that she almost immediately began to train. Mainly because it meshed well with some of her own sacred gears, and her charisma clan trait.
With the new members, they had also began their own physical training, albeit slowly. Valerie was at 100 pounds with 2x gravity, and Lint was at 250 pounds with 2x gravity.
It was also with this that Valerie decided she was no longer going to go out of her way to recruit members, and would just get them as they came. She had 6 members, with all of them having a sacred gear, and 5 of them having longinus level gears. And by the end of the year, each member was high class at least, with Morgan herself being Ultimate Class.
Power level wise, Valerie was the lowest, being at the very bottom of High Class, with Lint being on par with a "Low" High Class. And there was still another 3 years until canon, if Issei's age was any indicator. Naturally their growth would drastically slow due to the level they were all at, as Morgan highly doubted she'd be getting to Satan Class before canon, most likely she'd get to Peak Ultimate Class, if that, as the jump in power between Ultimate Class and Satan Class was absolutely cataclysmic.
A single satan class could obliterate hundreds of ultimate class beings with ease. And being a "Peak" ultimate class didn't really mean much as they were still far below a Satan Class being like Grayfia or Serafall.
But for now, Morgan was focused on something else, as she read a rather irritating piece of paper in front of her, courtesy of her neighbor Lord Valac. The man had been a part of the weakening of the Zagan family, as he had taken a lot of land from her family, with over 75% of his land being originally (and rightfully) owned by her family. And he wasn't the only one.
His family was ranked 30 out of the remaining 40 pillars from the original 72 pillars, with hers being ranked 40, and the very bottom. That was not even including the "Extra Demons" which were other families, if they were included, then her family would be at the very bottom still. And there was roughly 32 of these families, done to make up for the 32 families that had died during the civil war and great war.
The paper in question was annoying for one reason and one reason only.
It...was a marriage proposal, an awful one.
"This fucking old goat will not leave me alone, will he?" Morgan growled out in annoyance, knowing that the man only gave her the offer so he could take her land and the Zagan library. It wasn't even a real offer, as the only payment she'd receive is "Not being taken over in a more uncivilized manner" whatever the hell that meant.
Valerie, who was nuzzled into her neck sucking her blood, couldn't help but lean back and hum.
"Master, why not make a contract with him and do a rating game? Wouldn't that give you a way of getting all your property back and more? Afterall, with how arrogant he looks, it should be easy to trick him into taking the deal and signing the contract" Valerie couldn't help but comment, having become more talkative over the past few months.
Morgan, hearing the idea, couldn't help but looked at her dhampir, before slowly a wide, rather scary grin began to form on her face, before she replied slowly.
"That...is an excellent idea!"

That's the end of the chapter!
Confirmed Harem - Valiana, Ingvild, Kuroka, Valerie, Koneko, Serafall, Rias, Issei, Lint.
Current Peerage - Valiana, Ingvild, Kuroka, Valerie, Issei, Lint.
Not sure how well the recruitment parts were written, but quite frankly, I don't really want to write that over and over, as it is basically the same thing several times over. The next ones will be a bit different, so they will be shown, but these ones aren't really.
I was thinking of adding another AU element in the form of giving Sirzechs an OC wife, mostly because...I kinda want Grayfia to get with the MC. She's pretty hot and would be a good love interest to include. I'm not sure how big the harem is going to be, but it's definitely going to be the biggest I've made. Not that that matters much, as besides the occasional date being shown and some smut, this fic will not include a ton of romance or anything. Mostly because romance is...tiring to make lol.
Anyways, have a good day!
