His Breeding Obsession

Chapter 115 - Preparing to Escape

‘I’m not sure if my magic will replenish properly. The air is thicker than before…’

Using the vitality of plants to replenish my energy.

Supplementing my powers.

It was an unfamiliar concept to her, who had always been overflowing with magic because her body was united with nature like a channel.

Mirania was in such a state now.

The magic charger had connected her to a large passageway, but something went awry, and the pathway became smaller.

Naturally, the amount of magic flowing through her body had diminished.

Since the amount of magic flowing through her body has decreased, she wants to increase it through training, just like a wizard or swordsman.

‘It would be more efficient than the mages’ method of gathering magic power, but with the air being this thick, it won’t be as effective as I thought.’

Mirania clicked her tongue inwardly.

In the past, there had been so much of Mother Nature’s energy everywhere that she could feel it in her hands if she waved them around.

But now she could feel it only as a scattering of wheat grains on the ground.

Listening to the tree lament that so many of her friends had died in the last hundred years, she had an idea of what had happened.

Mirania clicked her tongue once more and closed her eyes to focus.

She wasn’t trying to gather as much magic as she used to, which was a relief.

Instead, she unified her will with the energy of Mother Nature flowing around her.

Every orifice in my body expanded, and I felt like I was in connection with nature.

The channels of energy flowing through her body expanded from one to several in an instant.

Through the expanded channels, Mirania absorbed the energy of nature, or magic power.

The energy that had entered her body felt no discomfort and roamed around inside her with vigor.

Mirania’s body, a product of nature itself, was subject to the laws of nature, so the absorbed energy settled into her body without leaving.

‘It’s easier to gather magic than I feared.’

Mirania’s eyes widened as she felt the enrichment in her body, as if it were an illusion.

A warm glow radiated from her mysterious golden pupils.

Some absorbed magic leaked out through her pupils.

‘This should be enough to get me out of here.’

After days of helpless confinement, Mirania felt a sense of exhilaration and accomplishment that she hadn’t felt in a long time.

As soon as she felt confident she could work her magic, she took off.

The magic that circulated within her body moved according to her will, performing what wizards call

‘miracles’.

Magic manifests the will.

For Mirania, her will was the will of nature. Her feet rose into the air, no spell or bond required.

As she released the sitting position, she naturally assumed a stance. Her feet parted from the ground and tapped playfully.

Smiling, Mirania looked to the sky.

Sensing her will, the magic moved and lifted her into the air.

This was Flying Magic.

‘Ahhh, this feels good.’

The first free-floating she’d felt in a long time. Mirania narrowed her eyes and shivered slightly with pleasure.

Her body was floating higher and further, just as she had hoped.

At this rate, she could reach the continent.

It wouldn’t be a long journey with the energy she’d gathered, but if she ran out of energy, she could always descend to the ground and recharge.

Nothing would be a problem.

Mirania’s mind was filled with endless possibilities right now.

The vague feeling of helplessness she’d felt when she’d woken up in her weak body had faded.

Like before, she could do anything.

Mirania relaxed, enjoying the breeze that blew through her body.

Her body rose high enough to clear the high walls of the palace.

‘Let’s go.’

She picked up the speed of her flight to fly out of the palace. The wind, which had been rustling her pleasantly, screamed and began to flee.

The air, softened by the magic of the great nature, stiffened.

‘Huh?’

Mirania’s eyes widened, startled by the sudden hardening of the atmosphere as the relaxed air vanished.

At the same time, she was caught in strong arms like a deer in a hunter’s net.

 “What are you doing, Mirania?”

A low grunt penetrated my ears.

Gasps, ragged breaths that sent chills down her spine.

Silence sent a prickling creep through Mirania’s skin.

Pleasure, fullness, freedom, ease, like she could do anything.

All of those pleasant feelings were shattered at once, replaced by the overwhelming weight of a powerful force pressing down on her body.

“Where do you think you’re going?”

The hard, raspy voice snapped her out of her daze.

The loss of strength in her entire body stretched her to the tips of her hair, and tears stung her eyes from the fever.

 “You…, you rude, insolent bastard.”

Her voice was filled with frustration, and Grecan’s arms tightened around her.

Mirania felt the noose tighten. She tried to keep her temper in check.

“Yes. Rude and arrogant, but I can’t help it.”

Mirania blinked in disbelief, and Grecan, who had been holding her tightly in a princess hug, lowered to the ground.

“You can’t do this, I thought my heart was going to fall out of my chest. This is the end of our walk, do you understand?”

Grecan said as they trudged back to the palace.

His voice was dry with a hint of anger.

Mirania was dumbfounded, and her briefly subdued anger flared up again.

“What, that’s the end of our walk? Do you think I’m your pet squirrel, you bastard, and can’t you put me down, will you, Grecan!”

She squirmed in disgust, but Grecan picked her up and held her tightly.

The wind blew Mirania’s body upward so that his chin rested on her forehead.

His slightly ragged breath calmed her somewhat, but she was still fighting back.

Grecan’s thick arms wrapped around her, holding her tightly.

She felt uncomfortable being pressed against his chest and used her hands to push him away, but like a trap that tightened the more the beast struggled, he only held her tighter.

 Slam—

Opening the crystal door, Grecan walked briskly to the bed and laid her down on the soft bedspread. Puff.

Mirania, whose judgment had already been twisted, glared at Grecan as he carefully backed away.

A glare so fierce it could strike a thunderbolt.

But inwardly, she was baffled,

‘I can’t believe this body can’t move a muscle.’

Grecan, the man who had destroyed the silencing spell with a wave of his hand, had been so powerful that even she had been overwhelmed.

However, the difference between then and now wasn’t much.

Even now, when she had gathered enough magic to fly for a certain amount of time, she was unable to inflict even the slightest blow on Grecan.

Mirania didn’t just hug him gently.

She snapped her fingers, casting every curse she knew, and he didn’t bat an eye.

He didn’t even flinch as he held her.

The energy from her fingertips didn’t even make a scratch on his body, dispersing powerlessly in the air.

‘What the hell…’

Mirania’s mouth dropped open in disbelief as she felt the magic move.

As she lay stunned on the bed, her mind seethed with unbridled rage.

“I have never been so humiliated in my life.”

With a cold snap, Grecan sat up in bed and smiled down at her, a smile she could almost see.

It was not a pleasant smile, and Mirania swallowed her anger.

 “You rude, arrogant bastard.”

Grecan retorted quietly,

“Say what you will, I’d do the same thing if it happened to me.”

Annoyed by his consistent refusal to change his demeanor, Mirania whipped around to the other side.

 “Piss off.”

This was what it felt like to be powerless.

Mirania’s heart sank as she felt this helplessness for the first time.

She cared for Grecan, but she hated him so much she didn’t even want to look at him.

There was no way she wanted to understand why he was acting this way.

Despite Mirania’s urging, he didn’t leave.

Instead, he propped up the bed with his hands and leaned over her, kissing her pale cheeks, which were now pale with whiteness.

Mirania felt the fever rise to the tips of her hair and burn through her skull.

“Will you get out of here!”

She grabbed a fuzzy pillow and swung it at Grecan.

If he was going to treat her this way, if he was going to keep her here, unwilling to give in to her wishes, then Grecan shouldn’t expect any affection from her.

‘What does this man think I am, to be so disrespectful?’
