Hogwarts Mysterious Man Resurrected

Chapter 50: Professor Lockhart is different from usual

"Do you know that you did something wrong the night before? You shouldn't have contradicted Percy."

"Okay, that's enough, Hermione" Ron looked impatient.

"You have said these words more than a dozen times, and you have said them for two days. I also know that I did something wrong. I was too impulsive the day before yesterday."

"If you really know that you did something wrong, then you'd better apologize to Percy and admit your mistake." Hermione rambled next to him, with a very serious look on her face.

Harry stood next to Hermione, not knowing how to intervene in the conversation between the two of them.

"Why, why should I apologize to him?"

"Because you did something wrong, Ron." Hermione looked at him with extremely serious eyes.

But Ron didn't care, his face was written with a nonchalant attitude.

"I will never apologize to him, not in this life."

"So, let me apologize to Percy without even thinking about it."

"As you wish." Hermione squeezed the two of them away extremely rudely and walked forward faster.

"What's wrong with her?" Ron rubbed his chest and looked at Harry in confusion.

"Maybe you really should apologize to Percy." Harry hesitated and persuaded.

"Hey, you're just like Hermione. Didn't I say, I won't apologize to Percy." Ron looked at Harry angrily, with a gloomy expression on his face.

"Okay." Harry sighed, and stopped trying to persuade Ron. Instead, he talked about other topics.

"Let's go, we have to take Defense Against the Dark Arts class later."

"It's Lockhart's class again. He probably wants you to act out the monsters in his novels again." Ron said mockingly.

Their voices faded away, and no one noticed that they were in a corridor next to theirs.

A tall, thin man with a gloomy face was hiding here.

His eyes were dark and his expression was cold.

"Bang." Percy punched the wall of the corridor angrily, and a trace of blood dripped from his hand.

He bit his lower lip and looked ferocious.

Sometimes there are signs of unwillingness and anger, but they return to calmness.

"Alas" Percy leaned against the wall dejectedly.

He couldn't understand why his brothers were so hostile to him.

Is it wrong to ask them to observe discipline? Is it wrong to ask them to study hard?

Is it wrong for him to do this?

He has also lived in the excellence of his brother since he was a child. In order to get rid of this situation, he made a lot of efforts.

He is very similar to Ron, and he also has his own inferiority complex deep inside.

To this day, his idea that has never changed is to let his parents recognize him, let others recognize him, and let everyone know.

He, Percy Weasley, is no worse than his brothers.

Even with his brother here, he will still be the best one.

He has always done well. He has his own ambitions and ideals, and he will work hard to fulfill them.

But the farce last night was like a sharp knife thrust into his heart.

Extreme pain

Percy looked at the ceiling with confused eyes. He wanted to set an example to his younger brothers.

But obviously, he failed

"What happened Percy"

When a voice that sounded cheerful and generous came, Percy stood up hurriedly, retracted the expression on his face, and looked towards the place where the voice came from. .

"Professor Lockhart, nothing happened." The person who came into view was the recently famous Defense Against the Dark Arts professor.

Professor Gilderoy Lockhart

Of course, they all have bad reputations.

"What's going on on your face?"

Lockhart walked in, a concerned smile on his face, his shining teeth inevitably showing.

Percy looked at this scene, and a strange thought flashed in his heart.

As expected of Professor Lockhart, who won the Wizarding Weekly Most Charming Smile Award five times.

A casual smile reveals his shining teeth.

Of course, that's what Percy thought in his heart.

"It's okay, Professor, I'll go to the school doctor's office to check on you later."

"No need to bother, Mr. Weasley. I wouldn't mind helping you if you would just take my word for it."

Lockhart had his most charming smile on his face, and he took out his wand and pointed it at Percy's dark eyes.

Thinking of the recent deeds about this professor, Percy felt a sense of unease deep in his heart.

He opened his mouth, trying to stop Professor Lockhart from casting a spell on him.

But it was obvious that Lockhart's incantation was faster than the answer he wanted to refuse.

"Return as usual."

There was a flash of light and Percy touched his face.

It's great, nothing is missing.

There is no missing nose or ears, and the mouth is still there.

Just as Percy was checking on himself, Lockhart very thoughtfully took out a small mirror and gave it to him.

Percy subconsciously took it and took a look.

The dark eye sockets on his face disappeared without a trace, and even the swelling at the corner of his mouth disappeared.

"Thank you, Professor."

"You're welcome, Percy."

Lockhart looked very happy and looked at the watch on his hand.

"Maybe it's time for you to go to class."

"It just so happens that you Gryffindors are in my class."

"If you don't mind, let's go there together."

"You don't mind, Professor," Percy said hastily.

Lockhart gave Percy a satisfied look and led him to the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom.

Percy walked behind, wondering if it was an illusion.

He felt that Professor Lockhart seemed a little different from usual.

He seems to have become much more confident, and even the healing spell he just cast was very successful.

It's like something happened to him that changed him.

Percy was making random guesses from behind, while Lockhart walked in front and took the lead into the classroom.

When the two of them entered the classroom, the noisy little wizard suddenly became quiet.

"Very good." Lockhart flicked his wand.

The surrounding atmosphere changed, from darker to brighter.

The wizards in the audience didn't take it seriously. The professors were all familiar with this kind of thing.

Lockhart waited until Percy found a seat to sit down before Lockhart began his lecture.

"I think you all should have read my book."

"One of them is called Walking with Trolls, and I'm going to tell you about trolls today."

"I think it's very simple for me, as someone who has received the Order of Merlin to the third degree, is a member of the Defense League against the Dark Arts, and has won Wizard Weekly's Most Charming Smile Award five times, to tell you about the trolls."

"He's starting again."

There were boos below, but Lockhart still had his charming smile on his face, pretending not to hear the little wizard below.

He walked up to the podium, pointed his wand at his throat, and shouted.

"Classes begin."

The loud sound shocked many wizards.

Is this still the Professor Lockhart they know who does everything and does nothing?
