Hogwarts Mysterious Man Resurrected

Chapter 55: Lockhart’s Office

Harry wanted to apologize to Ron. He was so distracted just now that he didn't notice that Ron was pulling him when he was chasing Professor Lockhart.

At that time, all Harry could think about was that since Professor Lockhart was so powerful, why not ask him for magic?

Just do it when you think of it. As soon as Harry's idea flashed, his body was already honest enough to stop Professor Lockhart.

By now, Harry had recalled that when he broke away from Ron, he had used slightly more force than usual.

This made him feel a flash of guilt

But it is a pity that Ron is not in the classroom now.

"I'll apologize to him when I get back to the dormitory."

Harry glanced around, checking out the wizards in the classroom.

In the end, when Ron was nowhere to be seen, Harry withdrew his gaze and thought to himself.

"Harry, what's wrong with you?"

Hermione asked softly as she tugged at Harry's robes.

"What Hermione?" Harry suddenly came back to his senses after being pulled by Hermione.

"The professor asked us to follow him and go to his office."

Hermione pointed forward.

Following the direction Hermione pointed, Harry saw Lockhart holding the quill in his hand and signing autographs from the little witches who asked for his autographs.

When Harry looked at him, Lockhart raised his head and glanced at him with a strange smile on his face.

This strange look made Harry feel a chill rush up his spine again, and he shuddered inside.

He forced a smile, but it was extremely stiff compared to Professor Lockhart's.

"Okay, we should go."

Sign your name in the last little witch's book.

With a smile on her face, Lothar came to these two little witches who rejected them one by one, then turned around and led away.

Hermione followed Lockhart calmly, while Harry hesitated and followed.

He doesn't know what he is thinking now

The professor had clearly demonstrated his magic skills, and he himself planned to let Professor Lockhart teach him magic, so why was there still a trace of hesitation in his heart?

When Harry put aside his inner hesitation, his pace became faster and faster.

But while in a certain corridor, Professor Lockhart suddenly disappeared.

This left Harry and Hermione stunned on the spot, before they could realize what was happening.

Professor Lockhart appeared in front of the two of them with his charming smile.

Not sure if it was an illusion, but Harry and Hermione felt that the Professor Lockhart in front of them seemed to be a different person.

Next, every wizard I met along the way.

As long as they are little witches, they look at Lockhart with stars in their eyes.

Lockhart, on the other hand, always wore his charming smile.

They stayed in his office and didn't take away the smile on his face until he closed the door behind his back.

For this reason alone, Harry admired Professor Lockhart.

Doesn't his face feel uncomfortable?

And this journey also allowed Harry and Hermione to see how charming Professor Lockhart is.

It really feels like killing these little witches with just one face.

Lockhart walked to his seat and sat down.

He took out a lot of letters from the drawer and put them on the table.

Harry and Hermione stood beside him, watching Professor Lockhart take out letters from drawer after drawer.

Among them, Hermione's expression became much stiffer.

Harry gave her a pitying look.

With so many letters, when will she return?

But fortunately, Lockhart also thought it was a bit unconscionable to ask Hermione to reply to so many letters.

So, he took out some more from another drawer and placed them in a pile in front of him.

After he was done, he looked at Hermione.

"Then it's up to you, Miss Granger."

"It's all right, Professor."

Hermione had black hair and a "smile" on her face. She picked up the letters with a little effort and put them on another table. Then she picked up the quill on the table and started to reply one by one.

Only then did Lockhart look at Harry.

"Don't be nervous, Harry, what do you want to ask me?"

He picked up the teapot on the table, took out a few teacups, poured three cups of fragrant coffee and placed them on the table.

Then he placed one cup in front of Harry and picked up the other cup and handed it to Hermione.

"Thank you, Professor." Harry looked at the coffee in front of him and thanked Lockhart. .

"Thank you, Professor." Hermione took the coffee and thanked Lockhart like Harry.

After the coffee was distributed, Lockhart sat back down.

He looked at the boy in front of him with a smile.

Being smart, he naturally saw Harry's embarrassment.

"You want to learn some magic spells from me? I've also heard the story of your brave and fearless fight with monsters in the secret room."

"Yes, Professor. I want to learn some spells from you that can be used against enemies."

Hearing his words, Harry blushed for a rare moment.

In the secret room, he didn't see any monsters.

This was all made up by Ron in order to brag about the three of them.

But his desire to learn spells was genuine.

Now that they are still in their second year, Professor Flitwick will not teach them too powerful spells.

But this was a bit uncomfortable for Harry.

The last time he fought with that person, he realized that he had many shortcomings.

The biggest problem is that his spells are very weak. To deal with those petrified animals, it often takes several spells to blow up certain parts of their bodies.

After all, they are still essentially stones.

It is extremely hard and not so easy to destroy.

"So what spell do you want to learn?"

"You have to know that some magic is too powerful, and it is not a good thing to learn it rashly."

Harry felt that Lockhart's tone was a little strange when he said these words.

But he didn't think much about it. What Lockhart said was the truth.

But the truth Lockhart said made Harry think for a long time.

Even if you learn ordinary magic spells, how can you defeat that person?

When they were in the secret room, that person was extremely calm when facing the three of them, and even defeated them without even using a few spells.

How could Harry turn a blind eye to such a huge gap.

Unless it's black magic

Perhaps only by learning black magic can you defeat that person.

After all, the power of black magic is known as the most destructive magic in magic.

Thinking about black magic

Suddenly, Harry broke into a cold sweat.

Why did he think of this?

Looking up, Lockhart was looking at him with a smile, his eyes filled with a strange feeling, as if he knew what he was thinking.

Cold sweat broke out on Harry's forehead, and there was sweat even behind him.

"Professor, is there any magic that is more suitable for me?"

"Let me think."

Lockhart frowned, wondering what kind of spell would suit Harry better.

The pen in his hand tapped on the table again and again.

But Harry felt that the knocks were knocking on his heart.

Sweat was pouring from his back, and Harry didn't even dare to look directly at Professor Lockhart.

Finally, Lockhart stopped what he was doing.

This gave Harry a sigh of relief

"I have a spell that I can teach you, and Miss Granger can learn it too."

Hermione, who was replying to the letter, paused, her face slightly red.

Of course she heard Harry and Lockhart's conversation.

After all, it was so loud, how could she not hear it.

"Thank you, Professor" they both replied in unison.

"Of course, not now."

Lockhart waved, and Harry and Hermione looked at him at the same time.

"The place here is a bit small, and I'm afraid I might break something."

"Tomorrow, if you have time, come to my office."

"I'll take you to an empty classroom to study."

Harry and Hermione looked at each other and said in surprise again.

"Thank you Professor"

"Since I am your professor, I naturally want to teach you something."

"You know, I am a wizard who has received the Order of Merlin, Level [-], and is a member of the Defense Against the Dark Arts."

Lockhart smiled confidently, showing off his white teeth again.

Sure enough, it is a familiar formula and a familiar taste.

Professor Lockhart is still the same Lockhart.

It's just that I thought he was a liar before and thought he was arrogant.

But now I feel that he is confident and charming.
