Hokage: I Am an Uchiha with the Power to Extract Entries

Chapter 35: Tsunade’s Teachings

After hearing Tsunade's words, Uchiha Yuma didn't rush to act. Instead, he looked at Namikaze Minato, waiting for guidance.

Seeing this, Minato sighed helplessly, "Yuma ... just listen to Tsunade-sama and use Medical Jutsu."

Minato was genuinely curious about Yuma 's rapid mastery of medical ninjutsu. From the earlier conversation between Obito and Kakashi, he had learned that Yuma had only started learning from Rin recently. Despite being mentally prepared for Yuma 's 'monster' abilities, the idea that he could learn a level A medical ninjutsu in just one morning was hard to believe. Minato was eager to see if it was true.

After hearing Minato's suggestion, Uchiha Yuma raised his hands and formed the necessary hand seals. A green light appeared between his palms, signaling the use of Medical Jutsu.

"No problem, that is Medical Jutsu," Orochimaru remarked, looking at Yuma with a newfound respect. He hadn't taken Yuma seriously before, assuming his abilities were just another version of Minato's, enhanced by the Flying Thunder God. ButYuma 's quick learning of medical ninjutsu surprised him.

Orochimaru's ultimate goal was to master all techniques in the world, driven by his desire for immortality. A limited lifespan meant he had to learn as much as possible before his time ran out. Yuma 's abilities sparked his interest.

Tsunade, on the other hand, was more focused on evaluating Yuma . As a medical master, even she was cautious when performing surgery due to the risk of hemorrhage. But she recognized the steady chakra flow and the stability of the technique Yuma was displaying. This was impressive—if Yuma could adjust the chakra output based on the severity of the condition, he could eventually cure most diseases.

Despite this, Tsunade still found it hard to believe. She stepped forward and addressed Yuma directly.

"Huh? What's wrong, Tsunade-sama?" Yuma asked, confused by her sudden approach.

Tsunade extended her hand, her voice serious. "Take the Medical Jutsu chakra and pour it into my body. I want to see how effective it really is."

Jiraiya, observing from the sidelines, was puzzled. "But Tsunade, there are no injuries on your body."

"Idiot! Just watch how Tsunade does it," Orochimaru warned, sensing that Jiraiya might get himself into trouble by questioning Tsunade.

Yuma obediently took Tsunade's hand and channeled the chakra into her body. A buzzing sound resonated as the energy flowed. After about ten seconds, Tsunade frowned and motioned for him to stop.

Yuma halted immediately, stepping back to stand quietly.

Tsunade stared at him in silence, deep in thought. Jiraiya didn't dare to speak, and Orochimaru refrained from making any comments. Everyone else remained still, sensing the tension.

Finally, Minato spoke up, breaking the silence. "Tsunade-sama, how is it?"

"There's nothing wrong with Medical Jutsu. It's clear he's a genius," Tsunade answered quickly. "There's only one flaw—his theory is lacking. But in terms of technique, it's flawless."

She then turned to Yuma , who was still standing quietly. "You want to learn medical ninjutsu? Then come with me!"

Yuma , surprised by her words, bowed deeply. "Yes, Tsunade-sama!"

As Tsunade walked away, Yuma followed her. But then he paused, recalling something she had said earlier. "Wait... If I study later, I won't have time?"

Suddenly, Jiraiya remembered something and slapped his forehead. "I almost forgot! The old man has already arranged personnel to deal with the war outbreak today."

He pointed to Orochimaru and Yuma , looking somewhat embarrassed. "Orochimaru, me, and this guy Yuma will be dispatched to different borders in two days."

Yuma and the others stared in surprise. "What?!"

Tsunade, hearing this, immediately turned and left without saying much. "Follow me quickly!" she called.

"Okay, Tsunade-sensei!" Yuma responded eagerly, calling her "sensei" as he followed her.

...

Tsunade led Yuma to Konoha Hospital, which was conveniently located in the core area with easy access for patients.

They arrived soon after, and Tsunade guided Yuma to a quiet room filled with bookshelves.

Yuma looked around, confused. "What's this?"

Tsunade didn't answer right away. She approached a bookshelf, pulled out a book, and after confirming it was the right one, threw it to Yuma .

He caught the book with ease, but before he could react, Tsunade spoke. "In terms of technique, you're flawless. But medical knowledge is more than just technique."

She gestured to the surrounding bookshelves. "If you want to succeed in medical ninjutsu, you need to learn all this knowledge."

Tsunade paused for a moment before continuing. "I'm a bit pressed for time these next two days, so read this book first. When you go on the mission in two days, I'll assess your progress and reward you accordingly."

Without waiting for Yuma to respond, Tsunade walked out of the room, leaving him to process what had just happened.

Yuma stared at the book in his hands. "Is this a test?"

The content of the book wasn't difficult—it was introductory Medicine. Yuma understood that Tsunade wanted to test if he could absorb this knowledge. If he could, it would prove he was more than just a genius with technique.

For now, Yuma was focused on gaining the knowledge and gaining the entries needed to progress even further in his training.
