There were about a hundred people gathered outside the venue. Samuel could see that most of them were models forming small groups probably here for rehearsal. The famous models were surrounded by their own entourage, with bodyguards hovering around them while those that wanted to make some connections were around the entrance looking for a way in.

He managed to get inside the main gate mainly because he was driving an expensive vehicle, an Audi A6 3.0T Quattro. It was more reliable and he didn't need to tow his ferrari from London. It was a modified version fully equipped with latest tech suited to his needs.

It was like a sleeper sedan perfect for him to blend with the crowd, not too luxurious but those with keen eye could tell that it was modified sedan.

" Sami? What is this place? Is this where my gift is?" Elise was standing on the seat with her hands over the windows carefully watching the colourful scene outside. The muffled noise could be heard which made her a little curious about such a place. She had never seen such a crowd, other than few security most of them were girls, especially tall girls wearing high heels.

Samuel shook his head not explaining to her, it would only make her more restless. He found a parking spot and made his way outside. Thank god, it was cloudy today if not these people would roast outside.

The venue was a famous celebration hall, it had a wide hanging roof but those were for the famous models to hang around, the aspiring ones were left on the outskirt waiting for their turn. He carefully put on his disguise and grabbed Elise's hand so that she didn't get lost.

He could easily find her but such a crowd, there was a chance for her to wander far away. He couldn't exactly push these slender models to find her. He didn't want to get exposed. It was a fashion event there was bound to be someone that would know that he was the ambassador of Armani brand.

Even if it was a Victoria Secret's event, other brands and designers would be invited as guests granted they were not a competitor. In this regard, their brand had an edge because they specialise in intimate underwear market, there was not many rivals when it came to their forte.

He started walking toward the venue, he got a few looks from people but it was mainly because of Elise who was walking beside him. She was looking at everything with gleaming eye, everything was new for her.

" Do you like it? We will meet someone that will guide us to see your present." He asked with a smile seeing her strangely calm in such a chaotic situation.

" Hmm.."

" Why are they so tall?" She asked. Most of the girls here were around six feet tall, with some heel they were comparable to Samuel's six three height. Even for him it was first time feeling like this.

" That's because they have long legs. When you grow up, you will be taller than them!"

" I don't want to be tall!"

" Why?"

" Because....Sami won't be able to pick me up." She said in a meek tone. Samuel heard it and chuckled.

" No matter how big my little princess get, I will be able to lift her up. I promise!" He ruffled her hair assuring her. He went along with her because she was still a child but in later years he had to remind her about key details, especially keeping her distance from other men!

" So many scents, It feels like I am walking through a sea of flowers." He couldn't help but perk up his nose. With this many mix of girls, the whole venue was fragrant. They were wearing a lot of perfume that it was nauseating.

They slowly made their way toward the inner gate but the guards immediately stopped him.

"Sorry, sir, you can't enter if you don't have a pass. It's company policy" The guards informed him about the rules. They had seen too many peoples trying to get inside but still maintained a respectful tone.

The inner area was where many famous celebrities and famous models were conversing to have short gathering before rehearsal. The main event was a week away but the whole week, there were many such events for important people to mingle.

Samuel in disguise didn't know whether to laugh or cry, many eager people around him heard what happened and were snickering in their mind looking at him like another fool. It was common for aspiring models to make such bold moves but that didn't mean that it was not funny everytime.

They were hoping him to say," do you know who I am?" Line, it was common for these people to exhibit big ego but unfortunately it didn't happen.

" Alright, I will wait." Samuel decided not to argue. These people were only doing their job, if they knew who he was the company president himself would get on his knees to welcome him but he was never the one to exert his background of such people.

" Sami?" Elise didn't know what was happening, she pulled on his pants seeing him distress. From what she knew this type of thing never happened before, he was able to walk inside anything without people questioning him, it was why she thought him as her idol!

" It's fine, let me make some calls." He pulled her aside and dialed Lucie's number but after three repeated calls no one answered. He could guess from the size of this event that she must be too busy.

" Sir, please move aside and not approach the gate. There are some VIPs coming soon, try not to run into them." Samuel who was dejected about the call was again disturbed by the staff about some upcoming guests.

He raised an eye feeling a little annoyed about the whole situation. Did he look like someone that would care about 'guests'? He could see these people were alert like he would jump the line any second.

He didn't know that there had been some wild models and fans that occasionally try to break in. From Samuel's handsome persona and tall figure, they lumped him into the model category. They were not sure about the little girl but these type of unorthodox methods were common.
