Chapter 126: Chapter 121: First Encounter with Welt
Just as Fu Lin was about to fill the entire bucket, the space began to quake violently. A pair of golden eyes appeared in his view, and the entire space lit up. Staring at the colossal, majestic figure before him, with a scar on its chest, Fu Lin finally realized what he had been extracting.
Clutching the bucket full of golden liquid, Fu Lin nervously looked at the imposing figure. The two stared silently at each other.
Perhaps because of the prolonged standoff, or simply from being stared at for too long, Fu Lin broke the silence. "W-What are you looking at?"
Nanook, "..."
-------------------------
Nanook closed his eyes slowly after hearing Fu Lin's words. After a moment of calm, he reopened them and glanced at Stelle beside Fu Lin.
"Hm? Stelle, you're here too!" Fu Lin followed Nanook's gaze and finally noticed Stelle floating nearby.
"My head hurts so much… so many unfamiliar faces are appearing in my mind."
Under Nanook's gaze, Stelle clutched her head as the radiance of a "Stellaron" glimmered from her chest. She grimaced in pain and asked Fu Lin, "What's happening to me?"
"Relax, hey, what did you do!?" Fu Lin, holding a bucket of water, gently patted Stelle's head to comfort her. Then, turning to Nanook, he demanded, "What's going on here!?"
Nanook, "..."
Nanook observed the scene before him, closed his eyes again, and suddenly, Fu Lin and Stelle felt their surroundings blur as they were ejected from the space.
When Fu Lin opened his eyes again, he was greeted by the sight of the Doomsday Beast's severed head, sliced by some sharp object, its body fragmented and drifting in the cosmos.
"That space just now… was real!" Fu Lin muttered in shock, staring at the bucket in his hands, filled with golden liquid.
He then turned to Stelle, who was writhing in pain, and asked anxiously, "Stelle, are you alright!?"
"Ugh! Ah!!!" Stelle didn't respond. Overwhelmed by pain, she reached towards her chest, seemingly trying to extract the "Stellaron" from within her body.
But in the next moment, the "Stellaron" erupted with immense energy and a powerful aura, forcing everyone to stagger backward.
March 7th, in particular, nearly got blown away if she hadn't grabbed onto Dan Heng's arm.
"What's happening to her!?" Fu Lin shouted at Himeko, watching Stelle gradually rise into the air.
"She's undergoing a 'Stellaron rampage.' Hm? Welt's here. Now we don't need to worry," Himeko said, recognizing the glow from Stelle's chest. Upon seeing the approaching figure, she sighed in relief.
"Is it really Welt…" Fu Lin murmured, looking at the figure beside Stelle, unable to contain his emotions.
A man with brown hair appeared above Stelle, lightly tapping her forehead with his cane.
In the next instant, Stelle's eyes rolled back as she fell from the sky. Fu Lin hurried forward to catch her, and Welt, adjusting his glasses, landed gracefully.
"Uncle Welt, you're finally here. What's wrong with her…?" March 7th excitedly ran to Welt's side, taking Stelle from Fu Lin's arms with concern.
"She's fine now. By the way, who summoned the Taixuan Sword just now… Hm? Celestial Immortal? No, there's something different about you…" Welt glanced at Fu Lin and the petite Fu Shi nearby, his expression a mix of shock and puzzlement.
"Oh, I forgot to introduce him. This is Uncle Welt from our Express crew," March 7th introduced Welt to Fu Lin and Fu Shi, then introduced Fu Lin and the others to Welt, saying, "These are Fu Lin, Fu Shi, and Stelle. We found them in a small room at the space station."
"Those giant swords earlier were summoned by Fu Lin."
"So, you're a Herrscher born from the body of the Celestial Immortal? The Herrscher of Sentience who disappeared after defeating the Herrscher of Domination…" Welt looked at Fu Shi in surprise, then shifted his gaze to Fu Lin, feeling a sense of familiarity but unable to recall why. "And you… Fu Lin… your name sounds familiar."
"Uh, you're not the Welt from my world, are you? How did you get here?" Fu Shi pointed at Welt in disbelief.
"That's a long story."
"Have you seen Kiana?" Welt adjusted his glasses, finally remembering where he had heard the name before. He sensed the mark on Fu Lin and asked.
"How do you know!?" Fu Lin's eyes widened in shock, his voice filled with emotion.
"Bronya mentioned it before, complaining that ever since the Theater of Domination, Kiana has been calling out for 'Fu Lin' day and night, even in her dreams. She said her ears were about to grow calluses."
"I never thought I'd meet you here. It seems Kiana has already found you."
Recalling Bronya's complaints, Welt felt a headache coming on, his mind filled with Bronya's lamentations.
"I didn't expect Kiana to be so fixated on you, Fu~ Lin~," Fu Shi said, crossing her arms and sulking as she glanced at Fu Lin.
"Although I don't know how things are between you and Kiana, it's a rare coincidence to meet you here," Welt said, gripping his cane and smiling.
